Jock Next Bed (BL) -
Chapter 94: Testing...
Chapter 94: Testing...
Chris had never been one to hide the way he felt. People usually said he was plain as a sheet. If he liked you, you’d know. If he thought you were an annoying piece of shit, you’d also know. However, he was a professional when it came to hiding his romantic feelings, and it always made him feel awkward.
Chris was a softie. He’d go crazy if he had his heart broken or if the other person thought he was weird, and it always made him hesitant. Always made him watch from the sidelines until someone else came and snagged them away.
So after spending years hiding one, he decided to give up that lifestyle.
He had decided to proudly wear the band of a homewrecker and snatch Sky away. Because he wasn’t the only one who deserved to be hurt. He wanted to be happy this time. And he was certain he could make Sky happy too.
So when he fell on top of Sky on the bed with only their legs hanging off the bed, he didn’t move away.
The room was an arena of undeniable tension as Chris remained atop Sky, their shared laughter giving way to an electric atmosphere that refused to be ignored.
Chris’s heart raced as he lingered on Sky’s form, their eyes locking in a moment fraught with intensity. Conflicting emotions danced in the air, a volatile mixture of curiosity, uncertainty, and something more profound. His gaze bore into Sky’s, a maelstrom of sentiments swirling beneath the surface.
A peculiar sensation washed over him, unfamiliar and yet strangely alluring. It was as if he were suspended for a moment, his usual instincts silenced. He resisted the urge to retreat, instead allowing himself to be consumed by the charged air between them.
Of course, it didn’t take long before he began to stir, considering their position and how Sky’s semi-bulge was pressing firmly into his.
Was it always like that, or did that happen now? Chris wondered in his head, but he didn’t have the time to think too much when Sky’s unique scent enveloped him, a fact he couldn’t resist mentioning out loud like an idiot. "You... have a rather pleasant scent." His voice was quiet and focused.
Sky’s facial expression suddenly looked alert, and so Chris was able to quickly add, "I mean, I also have a pleasant scent, if you must know."
Sky raised an eyebrow, a skeptical expression playing on his lips. "Yeah, right."
Chris’s attempt to play it cool was betrayed by his eyes, a hint of amusement peeking through his façade. "You can go ahead and smell me if you wish." He offered, trying not to fall into the temptation of dropping his lips on Sky’s lips and tasting them. He wondered how they would taste. Perhaps still sweet from the ice cream?
Sky’s laughter echoed in the room, a sign of his unease. "Sorry, but I’ll have to decline the olfactory assessment. That is... disgusting."
What was not disgusting to this guy?
"What is not disgusting to you, Sky?" Chris asked quietly, still locking eyes with him.
Sky’s eyebrows furrowed as though considering the question. "I don’t... know?"
"So you’ll be disgusted if I try to get a good sniff of you?" Chris asked, his tone a mixture of seriousness and playfulness.
Sky snickered. "Why would you want to get a good sniff of me?"
"Because..." Chris reached to lightly brush away the strands of hair on Sky’s face that were trying to get into the poor boy’s eyes as he whispered, "I like how you smell."
Sky was guarded. Chris could tell. But it was interesting how he still chose to remain in that position.
"Rain and I use the same brand." He mentioned quietly.
"I like how YOU smell," Chris said, laying emphasis on you, hoping that the idiot would finally get the hint and stop assuming he was confusing both of them.
It looked like Sky got the message. At the same time, he looked confused, like he hadn’t gotten the message.
Chris watched the emotion flash through his face, and almost considered just laying it bare and telling the truth, but something was still holding him back. As if the truth was the end of it. So many things were going to change. He was hesitant.
Fuck! He swore in his head.
The atmosphere seemed to constrict around them, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavily in the air. A charged silence stretched between them as if daring them to acknowledge the unspoken undercurrents.
"You... smell nice too," Sky said quietly, breaking the silent spell that had fallen.
"I do?" Chris asked with interest.
Sky nodded. "All the time."
Chris’s heart skipped a beat when he heard that; so many questions ran through his head. He wondered how he smelled to Sky. How long Sky had thought he smelled nice and what played in his head when he thought that? However, he decided to play it cool, so with a mischievous smile, he said, "So... don’t be shy to take a sniff."
Sky’s immediate response was a chuckle laced with disbelief. "That’s... not necessary."
"Come now, what’s the harm in indulging a little curiosity?" Chris continued, his playful tone belying the underlying tension.
Sky’s lips twitched, a mix of emotions crossing his features. "I’m not exactly curious, so I’ll pass, thank you."
"Am I allowed not to?" Chris asked, looking at him with so much intensity.
"Not to... what?"
"Not to pass up this chance..." Chris laid it bare before reaching his index finger to trail Sky’s exposed neck. At once, Sky’s hand moved for the first time and grabbed Chris’s hand to stop him.
"It tickles."
Chris looked at their locked hands for a brief second before he did something weird. He opened up his hand and locked their fingers together, fixing both of their fingers in the space between theirs and stretching it out on the bed.
Chris could feel Sky’s pulse quicken, and he raised his head. His gaze locked on Sky’s face, and Chris noticed the unspoken tension in Sky’s expression. He didn’t make any move to push Chris away, and Chris didn’t retreat either. The tension hung thick in the air, their proximity heightening the unspoken connection between them.
"You’ve... been aroused," Sky pointed out, making it awkward.
Chris’s cheeks flushed. That was true. And it was pressing directly against Sky’s semi-hardon.
Was that enough proof that Sky enjoyed this too?
Maybe not. He was a guy, and he knew some guys usually sport a semi most of the time. He couldn’t just conclude.
It was hard to know how Sky felt about this. How was he so good at hiding his feelings and reactions?
He looked into Sky’s eyes, and without shame, he admitted, "I am,"
He waited for Sky’s reaction, thinking this was the time he would push him away. This was the time he would realize this was more than just messing around.
And then Sky’s response came.
"Then you should shower."
That wasn’t important right now.
"I don’t want a shower for this."
"So what are you going to do? Just lay on me like this?"
"Is that too much to ask?" Chris asked softly.
"You... you realize that... that I am a guy, right?"
Chris looked at him with amusement. "I wouldn’t have comfortably laid on top of a girl like this without crushing her, so yeah, it’s pretty obvious that I know that YOU are a guy like me."
That look came again. It was as if Sky was coming to a realization and also doubting the realization.
Chris wondered what exactly it was that he was thinking. He was curious.
Then Sky asked in a curious tone. "Is that what does it for you? Smell?"
The question had come in a rather amusing way that had Chris chuckling.
"Not exactly. But I guess when you like a certain smell, it can do it for you." He said lightly.
"And... that smell is on me? Or from me?"
Most people wouldn’t understand exactly what Sky was asking. But Chris understood. He was back to trying to confirm if he was sure it was because he smelled the same way as Rain or because that was the way HE smelled.
Chris was once again torn between giving him the right answer or not. Instead, he decided to do it the Sky way.
"It is... what you think it is or what you think it’s not."
Sky frowned. "Don’t do that with me."
Chris laughed. "That is how I also feel whenever you play off my questions." He murmured before gently nuzzling against Sky’s neck, inhaling his scent. The unexpected touch caused Sky to stiffen beneath him.
"Chris, what are you doing?" Sky’s voice came out in a half-hearted protest.
Chris’s lips brushed against Sky’s neck, and his breath, a warm whisper, caused a ripple of sensations to course through Sky, as evident in the goosebumps Chris felt on him. Finally. That was at least something.
