Chapter 108: Inner turmoil

Sky’s intense gaze remained locked on Chris, his patience unwavering as he awaited a response.

With Sky’s question hanging in the air, Chris’s heartbeat accelerated, his thoughts racing to catch up with the moment. The implications of Sky’s inquiry weighed heavily on him, stirring a cocktail of emotions. Vulnerability and uncertainty intertwined within him; a battle waged between his desire to protect his feelings and his willingness to embrace the support Sky was offering. The idea of exposing himself, both physically and emotionally, in his current state made his heart race even faster.

Although confident about his physique under normal circumstances, this moment was neither the right time nor the right situation. Chris wasn’t sure how comfortable he was with revealing himself in such a vulnerable state. Yet, in the midst of his internal struggle, he felt his voice betray his uncertainty, a soft agreement escaping his lips. "Yeah, it’s... fine."

Sky’s nod seemed to signify a mutual understanding as he moved into action. His practised fingers worked with delicate precision, undoing the buttons of Chris’s shirt one by one. Time seemed to stretch as each button was released, the anticipation and tension building with every passing moment. When Sky carefully helped Chris out of his shirt, a rush of sensations enveloped him—there was the coolness of the air against his skin and the electrifying warmth of Sky’s touch.

Chris couldn’t help but be hyper-aware of the vulnerability that came with this act. As the fabric left his body, he felt a twinge of embarrassment that was overshadowed by the soothing sensation of relief. The shirt had clung to him, soaked with sweat, and its absence brought a refreshing change that his feverish body craved.

"Sorry," Sky muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, breaking through Chris’s internal turmoil. It was as if the tenderness in Sky’s voice eased some of his concerns, and he allowed himself to relax back onto the bed, his eyes fixed on the ceiling.

The damp cloth began to trace a path down his skin, with Sky’s touch causing Chris’s breath to hitch. The sensations were foreign yet enticing, with each movement of the cloth awakening his senses. His heartbeat thrummed in his ears as the cloth moved lower, inching closer to his chest. The warmth of Sky’s touch and the coolness of the fabric created a paradox of feelings, making Chris’s skin tingle and his cheeks flush with a mixture of fever and embarrassment.

His body was caught in a whirlwind of emotions, the desire to retreat warring with the urge to embrace this newfound intimacy. Despite his initial reservations, Chris couldn’t ignore the comfort that accompanied Sky’s careful touch. He wanted to preserve this moment, even if his own conflicted feelings threatened to sabotage it.

He had done a good job so far. At least he believed Sky wasn’t that smart when it came to telling feelings apart, so he could still continue to feign ignorance about his feelings for him until, like a leech, he was able to sink into Sky and not release him. Not in a sexual way tho.

But right now, Sky was making it all crumble. Because if Sky realized what he was really doing to his body, then he wouldn’t be that dumb anymore.

It would be as clear as day.

And then, Sky’s touch ventured lower, nearing the waistband of his trousers, causing a rush of sensation to surge through him. The flush that crept up his neck was a testament to the vulnerability he felt in this intimate moment. His body responded in ways he couldn’t control, betraying his arousal. It was a collision of physical weakness and newfound emotional strength—the strength he found in surrendering to Sky’s care.

As Sky’s fingers resumed their gentle exploration, tracing a path down his chest and abdomen, Chris’s breath caught once again. The warmth that radiated from Sky’s touch seemed to seep into his very being, and he couldn’t ignore the pull of longing that had taken root. He battled with his own emotions, trying to suppress the desires that had begun to surface.

"You’re doing great," Sky’s voice was a soothing balm, his words washing over Chris like a gentle caress.

Minutes stretched into a timeless expanse, the room fading away as Sky continued his gentle ministrations. Chris’s thoughts began to quiet, his focus narrowing down to the soothing touch of the cloth against his skin. The discomfort he initially felt gave way to a gradual sense of ease, and his hormones had also relaxed. He was slipping back into sleep when Sky whispered, "Would you like to take off your pants yourself?"

Wait what?

Chris’s eyes snapped open immediately.

He looked at Sky, wondering if he was hearing things. Had his perverted mind conjured that question in his head, or had it really come from Sky?

But the look on Sky’s face as he waited for an answer told him it was the latter.

Sky had indeed asked him that.

Of course, what kind of freshening up would it be if it was only done halfway?

"Is... that o-kay?" Chris stammered. "I mean..."

"Chris," Sky’s voice was a mere whisper, but it cut through the thick tension in the room. "You don’t believe I would do something to make you uncomfortable, do you?"

Well, Chris wished he would, but blah.

Chris nodded, his gaze locked on Sky’s eyes. There was a vulnerability in those depths that matched his own, a shared understanding that transcended words.

Sky dropped the cloth, and his fingers moved to the button of Chris’s trousers.

Chris’s breath caught as the button was undone, and a shiver of anticipation ran through his body. He couldn’t believe he was letting someone help him undress. Even though it was his future boyfriend and he had already planned everything in his head, this was all too uncomfortable!

He was glad he usually wore briefs. But the question was... just how much could the briefs protect him from?
