Chapter 167: Let’s act a little considerate here, okay?
Dongwoo couldn’t stop himself from glancing over at Minwoo every five seconds. He hated to admit it but he was concerned. That bruise on his face was too bad to be overlooked.
"Minwoo Oppa, what happened to your face?"
Doha, who sat next to Minwoo on the plane, asked, but Minwoo smiled and brushed it off, saying he hit his face on the door while coming out and he had to go back to get it iced to avoid it from swelling.
"Ah, was that why you delayed?" She asked and Minwoo nodded.
Dongwoo, who was eavesdropping, knew Minwoo was lying. One wouldn’t get such a bad and black bruise on the cheek from getting hit by the door.
That bruise... Someone punched him. But who?
Then, he felt a cold drink nudge his cheek and flinched.
"Hyung," Seojin called and Dongwoo looked up. He has a chilled can of coke stretched out to him. "Why are you paying attention to him again?"
"I’m sorry, I just... I got worried." He said and accepted the coke. "I know I shouldn’t but my heart gets swayed easily when it comes to him. I try to keep him at arm’s length, but it’s as if my soul and entire being want something else. I can’t deny it."
Seojin frowned and looked back at Minwoo, secretly glaring at him.
"Stop it, Seojin. I know you’re glaring." Dongwoo said as he opened the can.
"How did you know, Hyung? Do you have eyes at the back of your head?"
"No, but you have a habit of glaring at everyone I show concern towards." He said, and Seojin pouted. There was no way Dongwoo wouldn’t have caught on to that at least.
He laughed lightly and drank the coke. It was pretty chilled. Enough to use as an ice press even.
He looked at the can and asked,
"Where’d Seojun go?"
"Probably lagging behind after running to get you one." He said, referring to the coke in Dongwoo’s hand.
And truly, in less than ten seconds, Seojun returned with a can of coke that looked freezing cold. He said,
"I got this for you to drink on the way." He stretched it towards him. "It’s frozen right now but you’ll be able to drink it in an hour or two."
He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling beat. Seojin already beat him to it so he decided to get one that Dongwoo would drink later.
That way, neither of them lost.
"That’s quite thoughtful, Seojun." Dongwoo said. "But I already drank one. I don’t think I’ll need to drink any time soon." He said, to Seojun’s disappointment.
Seojin giggled at the side.
Since Seojun already bought it, Dongwoo thought of a better way to use it, especially since it was still frozen.
"Seojun," he beaconed on him to crouch down a bit and whispered.
Hearing what he had to say, Seojun frowned.
"Do I have to?"
"Let’s act a little considerate here, okay?" Dongwoo said but Seojun did not hide his dissatisfaction and declared,
"I would rather drink it myself and if I can’t, I’ll throw it in the trash. Why do I have to give it to him?"
Dongwoo knew he wouldn’t agree right away but his dissatisfaction was quite thick. He just wanted to help Minwoo for reasons only his heart knew.
"Seojun, please." Dongwoo pleaded.
Seojun tried to resist but he could not fight against Dongwoo’s helpless expression.
He gritted his teeth and gave in.
"Fine." He marched towards Minwoo’s seat. "Hey, manager." He called and Minwoo looked up, only to find a can of coke heading in his direction.
He caught it and looked at it.
"What’s this?" He asked.
"It’s for you." Seojun simply answered and walked away.
"Whoa, it looks like they’re finally warming up to you." Doha said, feeling excited.
’It’s frozen though.’ Minwoo thought. ’How am I supposed to drink this?’ he raised his gaze, only to catch Dongwoo peeping at him. And as soon as he sensed he was caught, he turned his head right away. ’Ah!’
He looked at the frozen drink. It wasn’t sent by the twins. Rather, it was sent by his brother. Ah, it made him feel warm at heart.
’Did you send this because you were worried about my bruise?’ he wondered and pressed the drink to his face. ’It’s cold.’
Truthfully, he did get beaten. Not too badly but he seemed to have stumbled on a violent fellow while searching for a guy to spend the night with.
He had done a great job abstaining for a week and decided to release his pent-up stress before they boarded their plane the next day.
But the guy he met had a violent tendency and hit him.
Though the sex was great, he couldn’t afford to go to work with multiple bruises every now and then. It was unethical.
’Maybe I should stay away from one-night stands for now.’ he thought. ’Should I just get myself a partner for now? But is there anyone who can satisfy my vast sexual needs? I’m always thirsty and looking for something new. It has to be a person who I won’t get bored of easily.’
Just then, his eyes fell on Sungho. His eyes widened, realizing his gaze had subconsciously trialed to him after thinking of a sex partner.
He had to admit that that night was such a great experience. He wished he could get that sort of service whenever he wanted.
’Ah, this is dangerous.’ Minwoo thought. ’Hmph, after what I did, I don’t think he would even try to consider my offer?’
He gave it a thought while rolling the can on his face and paused. He sighed.
"That’s not going to work." He muttered and rested his back on the chair.
The flight was about 13 to 14 hours long so they would be practically living on the plane for that long.
The twins, even after promising to sleep on the plane, spent most of their time chatting with Dongwoo.
He was worried that they weren’t getting any sleep and in the process of worrying, he ended up falling asleep.
The twins watched him for a while before also falling asleep.
Taiha stood in front of their seats and seeing the way they slept, he shook his head. They needed to be a little bit conscious of their environment.
It was almost like they were hoping to announce to the world that they were in a relationship of some sort. He sighed.
’These reckless kids.’
The entire crew boarded the working class section, courtesy of the company, of course, so it was much more relaxing than the average passenger seat.
"Director," Dooshik called and Taiha turned to him.
He also left there after putting down the curtain, not wanting to attract attention to the three who were found asleep.
"What is it?"
After he walked away, Eunwoo, who was hoping to discuss some of the concepts of the fashion show with Dongwoo, stopped in front of them.
He opened the curtain and saw that they were asleep but what was with their sleeping position?
The twins dropped their heads on Dongwoo’s shoulders while interlocking fingers together.
’I get they’re close but isn’t this way too intimate? Even I wouldn’t hug my brother like that.’ he thought but shook his head and decided to mind his business. ’I’ll just come back later.’
The next person who decided to go and rain on their peaceful moment was Minwoo. He needed their opinions on the matter of the fashion show but as soon as he opened the curtain, he found all three of them snuggled together.
He was shocked. He knew they were close but why did it seem like they had a deeper relationship compared to how everyone perceived it?
’I’m not overthinking it, right?’ He thought. ’This just makes them look like lovers. If they’re not careful, this misunderstanding could cause a rumor. I better wake them up.’
As soon as he thought about this, Seojin opened his eyes gently. He saw Minwoo watching them and his lips curled up in a grin.
He brought his index finger to his lips to silence him, not to make a peep about what he saw and then closed his eyes to continue sleeping.
Minwoo was stunned and his eyebrows furrowed. No, it wasn’t what he was thinking, right?
There had to be some sort of misunderstanding.
Yes, these two... They weren’t the soft and nice guys everyone made them out to be. He has seen their true character. They were hungry wolves. And these hungry wolves were going to gobble his brother up before he even knew it.
