Chapter 883: Chapter 882: The Vicissitudes of Time

"We haven’t seen each other for three thousand eight hundred years, but doesn’t each advancement of an Earth Immortal require a thousand years? How could you have reached level twelve in just three thousand eight hundred years?" Yusuf Zuck asked curiously again.

"Don’t you know that this world is dominated by Earth Immortals? Don’t you know there’s an elixir called ’Heavenly Mechanism Elixir’? Don’t you know there’s a strange stone called ’Years Stone’? Don’t you know there’s a secret training ground called ’Time Zone’?"

"Mister, reaching the twelfth level of Earth Immortal doesn’t necessarily take twelve thousand years!" Selena Gould blushed and glanced at Yusuf Zuck, "I’ve only been cultivating for just over three thousand years. And there are supreme geniuses who can reach the twelfth level of Earth Immortal in just seven to eight hundred years!"

"So that’s how it is!" Yusuf Zuck took a deep breath of cold air and understood that whether it was the Saint Dragon Continent or the formerly known Five Continents, both were remote and poor places with very few Earth Immortals and resources, which meant that one could only wait for time to advance.

In this world, where Earth Immortals roam freely, in pursuit of strength, they have researched various types of elixirs and strange stones that can help sense their tribulations, thus speeding up their cultivation and allowing them to ascend to higher planes quickly.

"Mm, what about Isaac Quintana and Harley Strong? Haven’t you heard from them over the years?" Yusuf Zuck inquired further.

"No," Faye Webb shook her head, "they haven’t come looking for me."

"Time can change everything, including our thoughts, our relationships, our past. I have changed, you have changed, we all have changed," Faye Webb shook her head.

"Mm, how are you doing now? Any trouble? Anything you need help with?" Yusuf Zuck suddenly asked with a smile.

"Pfft," Faye Webb laughed at Yusuf Zuck’s words: "You’re still the same as before, even though so many years have passed, but the deepest memories and impressions of my soul still linger in our era!"

"You think you’re still the boss, still wanting to help this and that? Just take care of yourself, I have enough Snow Mountain Sect, neither too big nor too small. Stay here, I’ll give you cultivation resources to help you progress quickly. After so many years, how are you still only at Mahayana?"

"By the way, Fleur Carson said you were dead back then, how come you’re alive again?"

"Well, that’s a long story. After all, good people don’t last long, but scourges live a thousand years, and I quite enjoy being a scourge!"

"With your current cultivation, you can’t even cause harm if you wanted to. You had quite a presence shouting outside the Sect earlier, but with such low cultivation in this world, you can only keep your head down and stick to the sidelines. Stay here, with me around, you won’t be bullied!"

Hearing Faye Webb’s words, Yusuf Zuck just shook his head with a smile; Faye Webb thought he was weak, and he wasn’t keen on explaining too much.

"I still have to look for others; indeed, I nearly died back then, and I thought my relatives had died too, so I wanted to return to the Dragon Gate World, but it looks like there’s no need now!"

"Then let me assign a few people to protect you." Faye Webb glanced at Selena Gould, "Although this lady’s cultivation is impressive, this is the inner sphere of the star system, where twelfth-level Earth Immortals are everywhere. Even if she protects you, I can’t be at ease!"

"Really, there’s no need. I appreciate the thought, knowing you’re safe and seeing you live well, this is my happiest day for many years."

"I know you’re a stubborn person and you will definitely have your sights set on the Sword Tower, but I still don’t want you to risk your life; this world is not the Dragon Gate World, nor is it the ordained world," Faye Webb warned again.

"Alright, then I won’t go. Selena Gould and I will go to see her father, who might have entered the Hidden Sword Immortal Mansion. Do you have any news about the Hidden Sword Immortal Mansion?" Yusuf Zuck changed the topic.

"Hidden Sword Immortal Mansion? Of course, I know; even two from our Sect have entered, and there has been no news from them," Faye Webb nodded.

"What exactly happened?" Yusuf Zuck pressed.

"Three years ago, the leaders of the Six Major Forces met on Central Star, and each led many twelfth-level Earth Immortals into the Hidden Sword Immortal Mansion. After they entered, the mansion closed, and to this day, no one has come out. I heard that even the saints of the Six Major Forces are trapped inside for some reason," Faye Webb explained.

"The saints of the Six Major Forces went in too?" Selena Gould gasped in shock.

"A Saint must have entered, but the Saints from the Six Major Forces are definitely not limited to just one," Faye Webb nodded.

"What does ’Saint’ mean?" Yusuf Zuck asked curiously.

"They are supreme experts who have surpassed Second Level Earth Immortals. There are absolutely no more than ten Saints in this world. As for why Saints exist, I’m not sure either; it’s top secret."

"However, I’ve heard that Saints are blessed with Saintly Power from a higher realm, acting as representatives of that higher realm here!"

"By the way, do you know how to return to Dragon Gate World?" Yusuf Zuck suddenly asked.

"Yes, I’ve actually been planning to go back and take a look for many years, so I know the way back. But it’s far too distant, and being the Sect Master of Snow Mountain Sect, I’ve been unable to leave."

"Then tell me how to go!" Yusuf Zuck exclaimed excitedly.

"Here’s the map!" Faye Webb immediately took out a hand-drawn map and spread it on the tea table. Yusuf Zuck saw that the map was covered with numerous dense stars.

"This is the Snow Mountain Sect." Faye Webb pointed at one of the stars. "If you want to return, you must first teleport to the nearest Transit Planet, then teleport northwest from the Transit Planet, passing through four hundred eighty-six teleportation planets, and then you will reach here." Faye Webb pointed to the edge of the map and continued, "This is already the outer periphery of the Origin Star System. It’s sparsely populated there, and this is the last stop. There are no teleportation formations beyond this point; you can only rely on flying."

"You need to fly from this planet into the void, then continue northwest, crossing a vast expanse of starry sky tunnel before arriving at Dragon Gate World!"

"Although there are teleportation formations in Dragon Gate World, they only allow exiting, not entering. So, if we want to return, we can only fly back, but while coming out, we can directly teleport to the peripheral planets!"

"Give me this map," Yusuf Zuck said to Faye Webb.

"Mm," Faye Webb nodded.

"Also, I’m leaving now." Yusuf Zuck put away the map and stood up.

"Are you leaving so soon?" Faye Webb looked somber, somewhat reluctant to part with him. After all, they were old friends who rarely met, and now they had to separate again!

"Yes, Fleur Carson and the others are here, so I need to find them. Take care!" Yusuf Zuck said, raising his fist to Faye Webb.

"Hold on, take this!" Like pulling off a magic trick, Faye Webb tossed a ring to Yusuf Zuck.

Curious, Yusuf Zuck probed the ring with telekinesis and was struck by a dazzling mountain inside—it was filled with Spirit Stones, probably more than a hundred million!

"Alright, say no more, take care in the future," Faye Webb said, softly shaking her head to Yusuf Zuck, indicating he should not reveal that she had secretly given him so many Spirit Stones.

"Alright, I’ll accept it, but take this!" Suddenly, Yusuf Zuck pulled out a sword and a Green Spirit Fruit and stuffed them into Faye Webb’s arms.

"The fruit can detoxify and prolong life, enhancing a thousand years of arduous cultivation. The sword is a relic from a female predecessor of a higher realm, and it’s also an Immortal Sword. I’m off now, take care!" Yusuf Zuck nodded to Faye Webb and then turned and left!

Faye Webb didn’t send him off but just stood there, motionless, watching as Yusuf Zuck and Selena Gould gradually disappeared from her sight.

Tears began to form in her eyes—time bears all things away; parting today, she didn’t know when they would meet again!
