Chapter 763: Chapter 762: Five-Step Fall

If it were the old days, when the four major clans started throwing their weight around, Yusuf Zuck might have been a bit wary, a bit worried, but now, he had lost interest in playing their games.

Because they weren’t on the same level, the opponents were too weak; it wasn’t interesting for him to step on them.

So, he delegated the task to Fleur Carson and let her take the monsters to handle it.

"Where are we going now?" Yusuf Zuck and Marlon Shepherd left the Royal Palace hotel when Marlon started Fleur’s car. As for that Armando Murillo upstairs, Yusuf hadn’t killed him because he was just a messenger; thus, getting his due punishment was enough.

"Head back to pick up your wife and stay at the villa for a few days, and yeah, get me a cell phone—being without one is too inconvenient," Yusuf said with a smile.

"My wife and I are in a cold war, she’s ignoring me. How about you go up and talk some sense into her?" Marlon whispered.

"Damn, that’s all the skill you have? Eating out and can’t even wipe your mouth clean?" Yusuf laughed and scolded in annoyance.

Marlon rolled his eyes: "I don’t have your loving heart, nor do I possess your charm to entertain a bevy of beauties."

"Charm my ass, having a crowd of beauties is a headache too. By the way, do you know where Louise is?" Yusuf suddenly asked.

"No clue, haven’t been in touch for a long time, always off when I call her," Marlon shook his head.

"Hmm," Yusuf nodded and fell silent, while Marlon thought it over and then took out his phone to call his wife, Collins Brown.

Collins picked up after about ten rings and then her tone wasn’t friendly at all, coldly asking what it was about.

"Collins, listen, it’s urgent," Marlon drove and said, "Yusuf is back, he knows about my stuff, and he called a meeting with all the senior executives of the company but didn’t notify me. Collins, Yusuf might have an issue with me, so let’s go see him and ask what’s going on!"

"Pfft!" Yusuf was taken aback; Marlon was up to tricks too.

Sure enough, Collins on the phone seemed to panic, quickly saying, "No way, he isn’t thinking of firing you, is he?"

"Sigh, I’m not clear on the specifics. He has told me before not to be ****, and now that I’ve made such a big mistake, he’s definitely not pleased!" Marlon continued to make up a story.

"Where are you?" Collins asked urgently.

"On the way to the villa, Yusuf is there."

"I’ll head there right away, don’t worry, we’ll tell him the truth, we were framed, someone set you up!" Collins suddenly advised.

"You know someone set me up, yet you haven’t been paying attention to me for so long..." Marlon said bitterly.

"You fell for the same trick three times, how could I care for you? You jerk!" Collins cursed, furious.

"I heard that woman got caught by Yusuf, you better get ready. Ms. Wilcox and little Leila are at the villa, you get along well with them, try to get some information through them."

"Alright, alright, but don’t go straight into the villa. Wait for me on the road outside; we’ll go in together when I get there."

"Got it..." And with that, they finally hung up the phone.

"Haha." Yusuf couldn’t help but start to laugh, while Marlon laughed hee-hee non-stop, then said, "You can help me act it out later."

"I won’t; I’ll tell your wife in a minute that we were together just now, and you’re scaring her with the phone call."

"Come on, don’t bring me down..."

The two of them chatted and drove back to the Blue Mountain villa. However, when Marlon saw the three little girls, he was completely flabbergasted.

It wasn’t because the three little girls were too beautiful, but because they were freakin’ young, like thirteen or fourteen years old, not even fully grown yet!

"Yusuf, I’m gonna slaughter you..." Marlon wished he could strangle Yusuf. They were just this size, and Yusuf could lay a finger on them?

Yusuf, however, had his own sorrow that he couldn’t speak of and slunk away while Marlon started chatting with Ruth Wilcox and the others.

About an hour later, Collins Brown arrived, but along with her came a multitude of police cars. Fleur Carson had previously knocked out the trailing detective, and Marlon Shepherd had disappeared, so naturally, the authorities were keeping a close eye on his wife. Unprepared, Collins Brown unwittingly brought the wolves to her door.

As Yusuf Zuck stepped out, he ran into a flustered Collins Brown rushing inside. The cars were parked right outside the mailroom’s entrance.

"Yusuf, our old Marlon is not what you think he is, let me explain..." Collins Brown, upon seeing Yusuf, grabbed his arm, her face full of distress.

"I got it, I got it. The woman who seduced your husband, I threw her down the stairs and she’s dead. Don’t be angry with him, that’s all. I’ll go handle things outside. Ruth and the others are back, hurry inside and talk," Yusuf said with a smile.

"Oh, your words put my mind at ease. I knew you wouldn’t be ungrateful!" Collins Brown said and then hurried into the main building.

And at that moment, Sophia dashed out of the main building like the wind.

"Why are you coming out?" Yusuf asked as he walked.

"Bad guys are coming, I’m here to help you fight them," Sophia said innocently.

Yusuf was momentarily speechless and, not bothering to explain, strode towards the manor’s main gate.

The main gate of the manor was a pair of iron gates, pointed like the tips of guns, very high and large, with only a small door for passage. At this moment, several people were trying to enter through the small door but were stopped by two Blood Races who wouldn’t let them through.

Blood Races were now serving as gatekeepers of the manor.

"Boss, they’re trying to break into a private residence!" called out a young man named Sterling House, explaining in English as he saw Yusuf approaching.

"Hello, we are..." Seeing a Chinese man come out, the person in front finally sighed in relief. They had been talking to the two foreigners for a while, to no avail, as if talking to a brick wall. They had someone who could speak English, but the two foreigners had switched to speaking Italian, creating a language barrier.

Now that Yusuf arrived with Sophia, they immediately introduced themselves.

Yusuf cut the man off, "I don’t care who you are; this is a private residence. If there is an issue, take it up with my attorney. If I’ve broken the law, bring an arrest warrant and a search warrant."

"Also, if anyone tries to force their way in, they will be responsible for the consequences!"

"Right, right, responsible for the consequences, yeah!" Sophia giggled and then quickly pulled out a packet of powder from her bosom, sprinkling it across the gate to form a straight line.

"We’re here to apprehend a criminal suspect, and you are openly resisting the law, harboring a criminal!" the leader yelled angrily.

"Then we’re not harboring anyone, come on in yourselves!" Sophia said with a chirpy laugh.

"Right, go ahead and come in," Yusuf said with a cold smile, confident in Sophia’s poison that those daring enough to enter would suffer the consequences of their actions.

"Hmph, playing tricks!" One of them snorted angrily, pulled out a gun, and marched forward, with a swarm of people following quickly!

Yusuf and Sophia stood aside with the two Blood Race individuals, clearing the way.

Moreover, as these people crossed over the line of powder that Sophia had sprinkled, they didn’t notice anything unusual, leaving Yusuf to glance at Sophia in surprise.

The intruders ignored Yusuf, feeling something was off but not taking it seriously.

However, just as everyone stepped over the line of powder and continued forward, taking six steps, the leader at the front suddenly collapsed with a thud, his body convulsing and foaming at the mouth!

"Captain Xiao..." Those behind him panicked as they saw their leader inexplicably fall to the ground, causing chaos as they rushed forward.

However, it was the same for everyone; it seemed as soon as they reached Captain Xiao’s position, they all fell to the ground.

"Humph, as if you could withstand my five-step drop," Sophia scoffed.

"There are more out there, take them all down!" Yusuf pointed to the people outside who hadn’t come in yet.

"Alrighty!" Sophia, clearly not afraid of things escalating, responded with enthusiasm and darted outside, then with a flourish of her sleeves, the white powder scattered everywhere.

But her powder was indeed domineering; it seemed not even half a minute passed before the area inside and outside the manor became eerily quiet, with about sixty to seventy people sprawled all over the ground.
