Upon entering the palace, the floor was covered with the furs of various animals, soft and warm underfoot. When the Golden Pellet Demonic Cultivator threw the people to the ground, the water ropes around the bodies of Ruth Wilcox, Ember Vance, and Sandy were sucked into his mouth, but those on Yusuf Zuck and the blind boy remained, still wrapping their bodies.
