Aurelia Murray led Paisley Kirk through Shanhaiguan Pass and then headed southwest without taking any form of transportation.

In the first two days, Aurelia thought that Yusuf Zuck would follow her, so she was very cautious and always prepared for Yusuf to jump out and try to assassinate her.

However, after waiting for two days and retracing some of their path with Paisley, she found that no third person had walked the same way; thus, she concluded that either Yusuf had not managed to follow them, or he had lost their trail.

On the third day, she relaxed a bit and at dusk, she entered a forest and started a campfire.

One must admit that Yusuf was extremely patient; without the perfect opportunity, he would not make a move. Thus, he continued to endure, observing in secret, and he did not release his Telekinesis because doing so would alert his targets.

It seemed that everyone who came out of Dragon Gate possessed Divine Sense, something that both puzzled and shocked him. He originally thought that having Telekinesis was a rarity, a miracle if a few people in the world had it, but to his surprise, it was common among those from the Dragon Gate.

It appeared that the Dragon Gate World was truly a miraculous place.

Aurelia took out something resembling an ox tendon, and then she tied Paisley to a tree root.

Over the past two or three days, they had barely eaten anything. When passing by a village, Aurelia would steal something to eat. If they didn’t come across a village, they lived off wild fruits from the mountains.

Thus, both of them had expended a great deal of energy in these three days!

"We can finally get some good sleep tonight," said Aurelia as she leaned against the tree. They had just eaten two sour and astringent wild fruits. With it being difficult to travel at night and Yusuf not in pursuit, Aurelia planned to rest well that night.

Yusuf stood high in the air, using the light from the fire to observe the two of them, his brow furrowed in concern. Aurelia was very close to Paisley, meaning that if Aurelia wanted to strike paisley, she could do it in an instant.

"Still no opportunity, huh?" Yusuf fretted internally; he had been extremely anxious these past two days.

"I’m hungry, I want to eat..." suddenly, Paisley cried out.

"I’m starving too, but where can we find food in these big mountains?" Aurelia countered impatiently.

"You’re a fairy, you get full just eating fruit, but I’m not a fairy..." Paisley shouted.

Aurelia couldn’t help but laugh at this, "Right, in the eyes of ordinary people, we are like fairies!"

"But there aren’t any villages nearby, so bear with it. In a few days, I promise you’ll eat things you’ve never even dreamt of," Aurelia said laughingly.

"In a few days, I’ll be starved to death. I have hypoglycemia, if I don’t eat for too long, I’ll faint," Paisley confessed. She did indeed have this minor condition; if she went too long without eating, her body would start shaking, even leading to fainting.

"What is hypoglycemia?" Aurelia asked, puzzled.

"It’s something like anemia. Didn’t you find a few candies on me the other day? When I’m hungry or feel unwell, I suck on a candy to keep my blood sugar up. Now I’m out of candy and haven’t had any food, I can’t hold on much longer, and I feel like I have a fever..." Paisley’s lips were cracked, she indeed seemed sick.

"A fever?" Aurelia exclaimed, and after feeling Paisley’s forehead, her brows furrowed, "You really do have a fever."

"What kind of silly sickness is this?" Aurelia said exasperatedly. "Just wait here quietly for me. I’m going to scout the mountains to see if I can find some game. Don’t try to escape; the more you struggle, the tighter my ox tendon knots become. They could cut off your blood circulation and cause your limbs to become necrotic!"

"I understand, do you think I have the strength to struggle?" Paisley said pitifully.

"Alright, you wait here," Aurelia stood up. After giving Paisley one more look, she turned and disappeared into the forest.

Paisley lay on the ground without moving a muscle.

Aurelia Murray hadn’t really left; after walking a circle, she had stealthily concealed herself in the shadows to watch Paisley Kirk.

However, after waiting for over ten minutes, she saw no movement from Paisley Kirk.

"Hmph, I doubt you could escape even if you tried," Aurelia Murray finally reassured herself and continued walking deeper into the woods, thinking she might find snakes, insects, hedgehogs, and the like to catch for their meal.

But just as Aurelia Murray headed deeper into the forest, an elated Yusuf Zuck leaped down from high above.

As soon as he landed, Paisley Kirk abruptly opened her eyes and then broke into a sly grin!

Yusuf Zuck drew his sword to cut through the rawhide ropes and then hoisted her onto his shoulders, asking, "Did you deliberately send her away?"

"Mhm mhm mhm," Paisley Kirk nodded repeatedly.

"How did you know I was following you?" Yusuf Zuck asked curiously.

"Feels," Paisley Kirk sweetly said, "A very strange feeling. I felt like you were always sneakily watching us. Also, I knew you wouldn’t give up on me, you couldn’t just leave me behind, so I thought tonight would be a good opportunity to send her away."

"Of course, even if you didn’t show up, I wouldn’t be going hungry anyway." Paisley Kirk wrapped her arms around Yusuf Zuck’s neck. "Brother Yusuf, I really love you. You won’t ever leave me, will you?"

"Mhm, I’ll first take you to a cave on the mountain across from here. You stay there for a while, and I’ll come back to deal with her."

"Ok, I’ll do anything you say," Paisley Kirk obediently replied.

Within two minutes, Yusuf Zuck had settled Paisley Kirk in a cave on the side of the opposite mountain, and he blocked the entrance with a large rock, fearful that some wild animal might come in and harm her.

As soon as he had settled her, Yusuf Zuck immediately leaped from one point to another—he had to kill Aurelia Murray because, as long as she lived, she would keep fixating on Paisley. Even if he took Paisley straight back to the capital, he couldn’t always stay by her side.

If Aurelia Murray returned, she would certainly find a way to succeed again.

It had to be solved once and for all.

When Yusuf Zuck returned to the location of the firewood, Aurelia Murray had still not come back. After some thought, he took a step back over three hundred meters away. Aurelia Murray’s gaze turned icy as she looked at the rawhide rope on the ground and frowned. "The rope has been cut? Is she rescued? Damn it!" She walked to the tree and picked up the rawhide rope she herself had cut.

However, in that instant, Yusuf Zuck moved, fully prepared for the assassination, his sword already drawn with the intent for a fatal blow!

In a single step, as Aurelia Murray bent to pick up the rawhide rope, Yusuf Zuck appeared out of nowhere behind her, poised for impact. Almost as soon as he landed next to her, the Purple Light Sword thrust forward!
