Chapter 558: Chapter 557: Crisis
Everyone knew Yusuf Zuck possessed the skill to kill with a Flying Sword, but no one had expected him to take control of another’s Treasure Sword, making it fly and turn against its own master.
With a single thought, Yusuf Zuck acted, simultaneously using telekinesis to maneuver the Flying Sword to intercept and thwart Tyler Nash and others, while he leaped into the ancestral hall, lit three sticks of incense, and knelt down.
He moved swiftly, bowing his head as soon as he knelt and uttered two words, "Safe journey!"
After the bow and those two words, he stood up, placed the incense before the memorial tablet, and closed his eyes, "I will kill Tyler Nash, you go to Hell, because people like you don’t belong in Heaven!" Having said that, he turned and walked out, standing before the ancestral hall.
Ty Meskill, surprisingly, didn’t move, still standing from afar as if he had been frightened by Yusuf’s unyielding determination earlier. All in all, he allowed Yusuf to finish his incense offering.
Tyler Nash’s hands were bleeding; without a weapon, he had tried to retrieve his own using his hands but ended up slicing them.
The other Truth-Seeking Experts, however, were dead. The speed at which Yusuf controlled the Flying Sword was just too fast. Without weapons in their hands, they were almost unanimously slain with a single cut to the throat—a perfect execution.
However, a few with special abilities actually matched those Flying Swords in a fight!
Yusuf Zuck settled into the chair Tyler Nash had previously occupied.
There he sat, but somehow, Tyler Nash couldn’t get close to him due to the relentless pursuit of the Flying Sword. The twenty or so meters between them was unbreachable.
Ty Meskill still hadn’t moved, but he closely observed the situation in the field.
"Buzz, buzz, buzz—" In the midst of the strange and somewhat chaotic scene which was somewhat absurd, suddenly the sound of objects ripping through the air was heard, followed by the appearance of Devin King and four others, each landing on the roofs of distant villas!
"Tyler, let’s go, there are experts!" When Ty Meskill saw Devin King and noticed the four on the rooftops, his complexion dramatically changed. Suddenly, with a surge of force, he dashed forward, dispersing the Flying Swords entangling Tyler Nash with a burst of power, then grabbed Nash and ran!
What was surprising was that Devin King didn’t give chase, but the four on the rooftop, laughing hideously, started pursuing them instead.
Devin King, approaching Yusuf Zuck on foot, suddenly halted mid-step and, in the next instant, appeared beside a practitioner with special abilities, placing a palm against their chest.
"Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang..." He moved like a ghost, leaping successively six times. After these six movements, six practitioners with special abilities had their hearts crushed, dying instantly on the spot!
Finally, the courtyard of the Nash family mansion fell silent, and the Flying Swords from the sky landed of their own accord.
Yusuf Zuck frowned as he looked at Devin King, "Can your people kill that man?"
"I don’t know!" Devin King shook his head, "That man’s name is Ty Meskill. Many years ago, he had a nickname, ’Sect Hierarch of Yin-Yang’!"
"You don’t know? You brought these people and you still don’t know?" Yusuf Zuck asked loudly.
"They’re not my people," Devin King shook his head, "Those four are not from the Dragon Group; they’re just odd characters called in to help by the leader. However, that Ty Meskill is formidable, and it’s uncertain whose prey will fall!"
Devin King sighed before continuing, "This man disappeared many years ago. It’s surprising that he’s surfaced again to cause trouble!"
"He said he wants to kill a nemesis? Who is the nemesis?" Yusuf Zuck pondered.
"Of course, it’s the leader," Devin King chuckled, "The leader has too many enemies."
"Oh." Yusuf Zuck neither agreed nor disagreed; that enigmatic leader was indeed a powerful figure.
"By the way, I need to tell you something, I just received the intelligence," Devin King suddenly remembered, slapping his own head, "There’s been trouble in Hong Kong; it seems your sister has been kidnapped!"
"What?" Yusuf Zuck, who had been leisurely sitting in the chair, leaped to his feet in shock.
"Mm, I just received the news as well, so make a call to confirm it, but it should have been Tyler Nash’s doing," Devin King sighed.
Yusuf Zuck’s hands trembled as he took out his phone and turned it on. As soon as it was on, he called Dream Morrow.
The phone rang only once before Dream Morrow answered, "Bro... bro... I’m sorry, Sara... she... bro..." Dream Morrow seemed to be crying. This time it wasn’t a joke; he didn’t know how to break the news to Yusuf Zuck.
"Details, now!" Yusuf Zuck gritted his teeth.
"It went like this..." Dream Morrow immediately recounted the night’s events, including the reception, the appearance of the Blood Race at the party, the gunfire outside, the combat between Truth-Seeking Experts, and finally the appearance of a man in white blowing a flute.
"Bro, we caught five foreigners; they’ve confessed that it was Tyler Nash who arranged for them to abduct someone, but they don’t know who the man in white is, and they’re clueless about any other accomplices."
"Wait for me; I’m coming to Hong Kong right away." Yusuf Zuck didn’t blame Dream Morrow because the enemy was too powerful. He could only blame himself for underestimating Tyler Nash’s tactics.
"A man in white playing the flute? The flute sound overturned everyone?" Devin King, who had been eavesdropping, frowned and said, "Must be someone from some heretical Taoist sect, but wait, if those four odd people manage to catch Tyler Nash, then we can just trade for her!"
"Damn it!" Yusuf Zuck could not contain his rage. He also secretly reprimanded himself for his low Cultivation Level. If he had been stronger, he wouldn’t have had to spar with Ty Meskill and Tyler Nash last night and tonight.
Yusuf Zuck forced himself to calm down. The current situation was that Sara had been abducted, and her captors were too powerful. He could only wait to see if they could catch Tyler Nash here.
But he also immediately remembered what Dream Morrow had just mentioned—Blood Race? How could Tyler Nash have the Blood Race?
"What’s this about the Blood Race? Do they really exist in this world?"
"What do you think?" Devin King glanced at Yusuf Zuck, "In the Western world, there are two powerful Blood Races, both claiming to be descendants of Cain."
"One is called the Dracula Family, headquartered in Germany. The other is the Ross Family, headquartered in France. Of course, their headquarters are in these two countries, but their descendants are spread across many European nations."
"As for why Tyler Nash would have the Blood Race, that I also find puzzling. The Blood Race considers themselves the noblest of species, seeing humans as lowly beings, so it’s impossible for them to be subservient to humans. Tyler Nash can’t control the Blood Races!"
"I think I understand now!" Yusuf Zuck’s eyes turned cold; Tyler Nash must have allied with the Ross Family.
"That’s right, there’s something else. Someone from Heaven has come to the mainland, aiming for you. But don’t blame me; we didn’t leak the news of you catching Marcus Escobar. It must have been Tyler Nash who did, though how he found out, I have no idea."
"Heaven is joining the fray too? Have you caught any of their people?"
"Not yet, we have no idea where they’ve hidden. Heaven has significant influence here," Devin King shook his head.
"Let me make a call." Yusuf Zuck took out his phone again and called Dream Morrow.
Dream Morrow quickly answered the phone.
"Interrogate those five from the Blood Race. Ask their names, where they come from, and why they abducted Sara!"
"We asked. They’re part of the Ross Family. Because Tyler Nash had a deal with their young master, they agreed to Tyler Nash’s terms and came to abduct Sara. Also, among those five is a so-called Count named Pierre, who says he wants to talk to you, asking what it would take for you to let them go free."
"Tie them up and torture them, but don’t kill them. I’ll be coming to Hong Kong soon!" Yusuf Zuck was incredibly angry. They dare to kidnap his sister and have the audacity to negotiate their release?
What a pipe dream!
Ross... Little Ross!
Yusuf Zuck took a deep breath. He was preparing to head to North America or Europe once again. Others may be spared, but this Little Ross must die first. This person always schemed behind the scenes. Eliminating him would prevent future troubles!
