"Bro, you actually remember to give me a call!" The moment Old Xu’s phone was connected, he howled furiously. It had been almost half a year and not a single call from Yusuf Zuck; he had no clue whether the three of them had lived or died while smuggling themselves out of the country.

"I forgot, I forgot..." Yusuf Zuck said with a sheepish laugh.

"Why didn’t the three of you just drown," Old Xu cursed angrily, "You go abroad and can’t even make a call? I damn near erected a monument for you guys."

Yusuf Zuck replied with a laugh and a curse, "You’d actually do something like that, but I’m back in the capital now. Where are you?"

"I’m in the capital too, bro. Business here is tough, my furniture store is about to be sold off. Got any plans to take over? I can’t do it anymore. The competition is too damn fierce. Been here half a year and lost over a million!"

"Enough with the chatter. I’m at the New Century Hotel. Come over immediately, let’s talk in detail there."

Old Xu’s family furniture factory wasn’t a very large enterprise, so a loss of over ten million was probably a real blow. Who knows how his father was cursing him in the background.

"Brother Yusuf, your favorite tea." While Yusuf Zuck was thinking about Old Xu’s situation, Paisley Kirk took a break to bring over a pot of tea and a cup for him. "Are you getting used to it? Is being a nurse better, or working here as a manager?" Yusuf Zuck asked with a smile.

"What do you think? You tell me which is better," Paisley Kirk countered.

Without thinking, Yusuf Zuck replied, "Nurse. You in a nurse’s uniform are really... cough cough, I don’t mean anything by that." He cut himself off halfway, realizing he misspoke. After all, the fair and delicate Paisley Kirk in a nurse’s uniform was truly stunning.

Paisley Kirk blushed, but whispered, "Then, when you come home, I’ll wear a nurse’s uniform at home..."

"Gulp—" Yusuf Zuck swallowed the scalding tea down his throat. If he couldn’t catch the hint from little Paisley’s words, then he was really an idiot.

"Yeah." Paisley Kirk whispered, "One day after work, Louise Garrett happened to be passing by and said she’d pick me up. Then, when I came out after changing, Ms. Wilcox just so happened to be walking out too."

"Ms. Wilcox wanted to give me a ride home, but by then, Louise Garrett was already waiting in the parking lot and had gotten out of her car looking at me."

"Then the three of us ended up walking together. Ms. Wilcox didn’t know who Louise Garrett was at the time and even asked me with a smile who she was, so I had no choice but to introduce her as my friend, Miles O’Brien."
