Invisible Security Guard
Chapter 439 - 438: Northward

Chapter 439: Chapter 438: Northward

"Master, it was successful," Gatlin Meskill received a call from the butler, Greg Wolfe, who seemed very excited, taking deep breaths constantly.

"Are you sure?" Gatlin Meskill’s eyes also shone bright, not expecting Greg Wolfe to really pull it off.

"I checked his boarding information, my arranged person saw with their own eyes he passed through the security check area," Greg Wolfe’s man indeed watched Yusuf Zuck enter the security check, but after seeing Yusuf Zuck enter, he turned and left, and did not see Kevin Nash call Yusuf Zuck out again.

"Very good, very good," Gatlin Meskill said ’very good’ twice, then hung up the phone.

A passenger plane exploding in the air, even if Yusuf Zuck were a deity, he would be killed in the blast, right?

Even if the blast didn’t kill him, the fall would definitely be fatal. Falling from a ten-kilometer height, even a block of iron would be flattened, let alone a living person?

Yusuf Zuck, dead!

...

Meanwhile, on the road to Sanya Airport, Yusuf Zuck was roaring for the car to stop.

He had only been nauseated for a few minutes before waking up on his own; he had been overwhelmed with shock when he received the terrible news, with a surge of blood to his head causing insufficient oxygen to his brain, which is why he fainted.

A convoy stopped by the roadside of the airport, and Yusuf Zuck looked at Kevin Nash as if he were looking at a dead man!

"Did you do this, or was it the Meskill family?" He wasn’t a fool. With the plane exploding in the air, it was clear there was a bomb on the plane, not just a malfunction causing it to crash. It was an explosion, meant to kill the people on it, and he was the only one aboard who could make others pull such a big stunt.

"If I had done it, why would I call you out?" Kevin Nash said with a bitter smile, "The intelligence we received before was that Greg Wolfe, the old butler of the Meskill family, brought people to Sanya, but after arriving here he went off the grid; we had no idea where he was; a man disappeared."

"I was wondering what that old bastard was up to, never thought he’d have the gall to commit such an outrage," Kevin Nash said through clenched teeth. "There were more than two hundred innocent passengers on that plane, the Meskills are too vicious, too cruel!"

Yusuf Zuck closed his eyes in pain but immediately opened them again and asked, "Where did the plane go down?"

"A place called Dianbai County in Guangdong, it’s said to have fallen into the sea," Kevin Nash said gravely.

"Everybody out of the car." Yusuf Zuck suddenly jumped out, still holding on to a sliver of hope, hoping that Ruth Wilcox was still alive.

Kevin Nash and the others got out of the car, while Yusuf Zuck jumped into the driver’s seat and rolled down the window, saying, "I want the head of Greg Wolfe, I want the heads of those thirty-three Meskill members."

"Alright, I’ll take care of it for you!" Kevin Nash didn’t know who the woman who boarded the plane with Yusuf Zuck was, but seeing Yusuf Zuck’s bloodshot, crazed eyes, it was clear she meant a lot to him.

Yusuf Zuck drove off quickly, disappearing in a blink of an eye.

Meanwhile, Kevin Nash said coldly, "Order, act, behead, I want heads!"

"Yes." Short Sword immediately gave the order to act using his phone.

At the same time, Russ Trujillo, who had already arrived in Sanya, was also baffled. Yusuf Zuck’s flight exploded? Who in the hell did this? Who has such nerve?

As he was shouting and raging, another command was issued, a secret order from the director of the Dragon Group: "Investigate the cause of the flight’s disaster."

"Time to work." Russ Trujillo, gritting his teeth, began walking through the investigation process with his team.

Yusuf Zuck’s phone was off, and Ruth Wilcox’s phone indicated it was out of the service area; both were completely out of contact. News of the plane’s explosion was everywhere, overwhelming. As a result, Felix Zuck, Rachel Fournier, and Sophia were completely stunned; after all, it was the flight that Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox were on.

Late that night, after a journey of more than a dozen hours, Yusuf Zuck arrived at the area where the plane had gone down.

The area was vast since the plane disintegrated in the air, so debris from the aircraft and other wreckage covered an area of more than ten kilometers, some in the sea, some along the shore.

Yusuf Zuck watched the search and rescue personnel scattered everywhere, watched as some gruesome fragments were just pulled out of the water, and he crouched on the ground, crying his heart out.

It was impossible for there to be any survivors, and even finding bodies seemed unlikely.

He didn’t leave, but instead joined the search and rescue team, using telekinesis to search the sea surface inch by inch, searching the seabed that was beyond the reach of others.

Three days later, only seventeen bodies were found, but these seventeen bodies were beyond recognition, making it impossible to identify them.

Yusuf Zuck did not find any trace of Ruth Wilcox among these seventeen bodies, and he was certain that Ruth was not among them.

For three days he had neither eaten nor drunk; his entire being seemed to have aged suddenly, his back slightly hunched, his eyes still blood-red.

The salvage operation continued, and Yusuf had traversed every inch of land and every expanse of sea within a dozen kilometers, but no more bodies were discovered. According to experts, bodies were likely blown to pieces in the explosion, so finding a dozen intact was already a rare feat.

By the sixth day, Yusuf still hadn’t found anything, and his whole body trembled like a sieve, as if he would collapse at any moment.

He hadn’t found any of Ruth Wilcox’s belongings, whether it be a suitcase or anything else; astonishingly, not a single item.

Going without food, drink, or sleep for six days and under extreme stress, with his energy sapped, even an iron man would be completely exhausted.

On the ninth day, he was admitted to the local hospital for observation.

Yusuf Zuck had a dream, a very long dream, where he frolicked on the beach with Ruth Wilcox, where he rolled in the sand kissing her, and in the end of the dream, he saw Ruth walking towards the sea; no matter how he called out to her, she didn’t turn back, and when he tried to grab her, all he clasped was a handful of air.

He woke up, lying silently alone in the hospital bed, staring at the ceiling as tears silently rolled down.

In just nine short days, he had become skin and bones, as though he had been torturing himself, now resembling a living dead.

In his heart, Ruth Wilcox always held the most important place, a position that no one else could ever replace.

Perhaps this was also a punishment from the heavens, punishing him for the many wrongs he had done.

Another deep night, he left the hospital alone and on the other side of the hospital, he consumed more than a dozen bowls of rice noodles.

Then he took out his phone and turned it on.

Ignoring the countless messages that popped up, he directly called Marlon Shepherd’s number!

"Yusuf Zuck?" On the other end, Marlon Shepherd’s voice screamed incredulously.

It had been over ten days since the accident, and Yusuf Zuck and Ruth Wilcox had both gone missing on that particular flight, so everyone knew that they were involved in the accident.

"Later, I’ll transfer all the money in my bank to the company. In the future, you’ll manage everything in the company for me. My previous will is still valid; my sister will inherit all my assets. Also, don’t mistreat Samuel Ross and the others."

"What about you, what’s happened to you? Where are you?" Marlon Shepherd shouted loudly.

"Don’t worry about me, just like that, tell them I’m not dead." Yusuf Zuck said and then hung up the phone, turning it off again.

Yusuf Zuck drove through the night to Guangzhou, and at dawn, he transferred all his personal savings to Skeward Investment Company’s account at the Huaxia Bank, then went to the airport, abandoned his car, and boarded a northbound flight!

This time he didn’t buy a ticket and sat in the luggage compartment, holding the Short Sword and resting with his eyes closed.
