Chapter 368: Chapter 368: She Hasn’t Grown Up
Located on a secluded street in Tokyo’s Edogawa district, there is a row of small buildings that seem to have been constructed in the 70s or 80s of the last century. Surrounding the exterior is substantial greenery, not only are there trees, but the high walls are also overgrown with ivy.
Each household is detached with its own courtyard, and the area is remarkably quiet, as there are barriers on both sides of the street preventing the passage of vehicles.
This is where Yoko Ono’s parents lived in the past, and it is an incredibly luxurious and upscale area.
According to Yoko Ono, her mother was killed by her father many years ago, but the reason was unknown to her – only that her father had murdered her mother and afterwards, he had been wandering abroad, leaving the house uninhabited ever since.
Besides the occasional visit from her, no one else came here.
Yusuf Zuck and Yoko Ono entered the yard, then the house.
The two-story building, without a garage, featured typical Japanese residential design – there were no beds in the house; instead, an elevated section of the floor served as a bed, also known as tatami mats. The doors were not hinged, but sliding. The TV was an old model from the eighties or nineties, and everything was quite antiquated.
However, as part of a high-class community, the house was equipped with all necessary living facilities, such as 24-hour hot water, and so on.
"I’m going to take a bath, just sit here and don’t move," said Yusuf Zuck, after a brief tour of the house, before plunging into the bathroom, the smell of blood on him being too overpowering.
Yoko Ono sat on the tatami, her eyes lifeless; she didn’t know what her fate would be from now on.
Yusuf Zuck was quick to bathe, and in less than five minutes, he abruptly pulled the bathroom door open and asked, "Do you have a towel?"
"I’ll look..." Yoko Ono frantically searched everywhere in a panic.
But after a long search, she could not find a towel or pajamas, only a set of white samurai practice clothes.
"Melvin Zuck, will this do?" she tentatively walked up to the bathroom door, pointing to the practice clothes in her hand.
"I’m not used to wearing other people’s old clothes, never mind, this will do," Yusuf Zuck pulled on a pair of shorts, then strode out.
Yoko Ono kept her head down, not daring to look at him, and bowed respectfully.
Yusuf Zuck walked up to her, lifted her face gently with his hand, and commanded, "Go wash up, and clean my clothes as well."
"Yes." Yoko Ono obediently scampered into the bathroom with small, hurried steps.
Yusuf Zuck shook his head and smiled faintly, wondering what was wrong with him, why did he start to bully someone?
Indeed, seeing Yoko Ono’s submissive demeanor incited an irresistible urge in him to command her.
He pulled out a cigarette from his clothes and lay on the tatami, as the sound of running water from the bathroom filled the air, his telekinesis subtly extending its reach inside.
It was not to spy on her showering, but because the bathroom had a window – he was worried that Yoko Ono might take the chance to escape.
However, as soon as his telekinesis probed in, he couldn’t help but find amusement. Yoko Ono stood dazedly under the showerhead, her clothing completely soaked from top to bottom.
Perhaps out of panic and fear, she had forgotten to take off her clothes.
Yusuf Zuck’s dirty clothes were in the bathroom. After standing under the shower for a while, she knelt down to wash them.
It took a full hour for Yusuf Zuck’s old clothes to be cleaned thoroughly, and she hung them directly on the bathroom clothesline.
After hanging the clothes, Yoko Ono gently opened the bathroom door, appearing before Yusuf Zuck, drenched from head to toe.
Her clothes were wet, which made her look particularly disheveled; her hair was disarranged, and her wet clothes clung tightly to her body.
Yusuf Zuck’s expression twitched momentarily, and he swiftly looked away.
"You’ll catch a cold like that!" Yusuf Zuck’s voice was somewhat hoarse; he was a normal man, but at this moment, he felt rather abnormal, as if there were a flame in his throat. At the same time, his eyes went wide.
Yoko Ono burst into tears when she heard Yusuf Zuck’s words. Tears streamed down her face because Yusuf Zuck seemed to be caring for her.
She stood at the bathroom entrance, while Yusuf Zuck lay on the tatami. Neither of them spoke further, and Yusuf Zuck was also struggling fiercely within himself.
A sneeze broke the silence between them. After all, it was winter; although the temperature in Tokyo had not dropped below zero, it was only just above ten degrees. So having been drenched with water, the signs of catching a cold were apparent.
Yusuf Zuck too snapped to attention with the sound of her sneeze, suddenly becoming fully awake.
He got up quickly. Although he had a momentary desire to commit a crime, he suddenly wanted to let go – she might be Japanese, but she was not yet fully grown, not even as old as a young nurse, so he felt unable to act.
Despite his hatred for the Japanese, if he really did that deed, what difference would there be between him and an animal?
Behind the tatami, there was a wardrobe, and inside the wardrobe, there were white cotton quilts. He had scanned the place with his telekinesis; therefore, he knew what was there.
He took out a quilt and pointed to the tatami, saying, "Take off your clothes and get into bed. Cover up."
"Yes..." she thought Yusuf Zuck meant to do her harm, so her response was trembling, with tears flowing like springs.
After removing her outer garment and lying down, she covered herself with the quilt, closing her eyes, not daring to speak or look at Yusuf Zuck.
As soon as she got into bed, Yusuf Zuck once again entered the bathroom, turned down the water temperature, and let it pour over him from head to toe, forcing himself to cool down and stay calm!
If she were an adult, he would not hesitate, ready to charge into the fray without guilt, but the key was that she had not yet grown up.
When Yoko Ono saw Yusuf Zuck go back to the bathroom to bath again, she was utterly bewildered and puzzled. Did this Chinese man have a cleaning obsession? Why keep washing over and over?
