Chapter 330: Chapter 330: Black Dragon Club

A storm sparked by Yusuf Zuck’s ghost-catching farce and intervention by the special investigation unit settled, leaving Yusuf Zuck safe and sound.

However, he also shackled himself with responsibilities and obligations, and from now on, he would be a member handling special cases.

Of course, he knew that people like him and Everest Zuck were brought in by the national service, a simple matter of issuing an ID card and preparing a backup file, and there were probably many more folk talents like them who had been roped in to work for the country and draw a government salary.

The so-called privileges didn’t exist, it was just that when you made some forgivable minor mistakes, the organization behind you would settle things for you.

But if you committed an unforgivable sin, then not only would the organization abandon you, but they might even deal with you personally.

The so-called appointment was also based on this consideration; if you ever committed treason or did something utterly inhumane, and the state pursued the matter, the special investigation unit would just claim you were a temporary hire, nothing but a temp worker—neither a party member nor an official, and certainly without any formal establishment.

Yusuf Zuck was a smart man, so he was keenly aware of everything. But becoming the successor to Everest Zuck had more advantages than disadvantages, and at the very least, he would receive a monthly salary.

Moreover, even without a salary, Yusuf Zuck, as a citizen, had the duty to help the country solve its problems.

He was the kind of person who couldn’t stay away from troubles; he saved Jade Cooke last time for the same reason, not knowing Cooke but would still rescue him if he stumbled across the accident.

Righteousness and goodness were values his mother had instilled in him—to be kind to others and to make things convenient for oneself! Thus, whether or not a salary was involved, if the country sought his unique assistance to deal with problems plaguing the common people, he would oblige.

After talking with Everest Zuck and the leader in the Sun Yat-sen suit for two or three hours, night had fallen, and Yusuf Zuck paid another visit to the hospital, spending some time alone with Ember Vance and conversing with her through telekinesis.

He left at eight in the evening and went down to Fleur Carson’s apartment to pick her up.

When it came to killing, Fleur Carson was more professional than he was, and Lucy Clayton, who could only be trusted halfway, was very cunning. If Clayton laid another trap for him to fall into, then he would truly be beyond help.

Although the citizens despised the Japanese, if the people in that restaurant were just ordinary Japanese civilians and he killed the wrong person, and Lucy Clayton then exposed him, the special investigation unit might not be able to protect him.

In such a case, a diplomatic dispute would ensue, and who would dare defend him?

So, taking Fleur Carson along for an early departure and having her scout the place—to confirm that those inside were indeed assassins and the like—was essential before he would act.

Otherwise, to rush in and kill them impulsively just because Lucy Clayton said they were murderers would be a grave mistake on his part!

He was not a muddled person when it came to action.

After picking up Fleur Carson, he immediately called Lucy Clayton to ask where the Japanese restaurant was located.

"Wait for me to take you there. It’s too early now, only a little past eight!" Lucy Clayton meant that they should act after midnight.

"Just tell me which restaurant it is." Yusuf Zuck said indifferently.

"Alright, it’s in East City, on Da’an Road, facing east-west. There’s a 7 Days Inn chain nearby."

"Okay, you get ready too, and wait for my call." After Yusuf Zuck finished speaking, he hung up the phone. If Lucy Clayton wanted to help, then let her dismember the bodies, which she was adept at.

Just after nine at night, Yusuf Zuck and Fleur Carson found the Japanese restaurant. Because it was open at night, there were quite a few customers inside.

Yusuf Zuck parked the car at a distant roadside, not too close, and then the two of them walked into the Japanese restaurant together.

The Japanese have many flaws, but it must be admitted that this nation also has many strengths, among which Japanese cuisine is one of their strengths. Japan’s sushi, sashimi, and the like are quite renowned.

As for things like nyotaimori, that’s kind of disgusting when played with.

In reality, as a whole, the Japanese are a bit perverted. Out of the six billion-plus population in the world, probably only the Japanese like to eat feces

It’s true, the Japanese can turn eating into an art form, including the popularity of consuming feces. This is indeed real, not fake. They are perverted enough to collect some girls and manage and feed them, then they make these children eat bananas and honeydew, and over time, their feces start to smell like bananas or honeydew.

Then these perverts eat it as if it’s a delicacy.

Nyotaimori is damn outdated now.

This Japanese restaurant doesn’t offer nyotaimori or feces eating because our country doesn’t allow them to engage in such perversions here! So all they serve here is the regular sushi, sashimi, and the like.

The restaurant was large, spanning three floors, with dining rooms on the first and second floors and offices on the third. Once seated, as Fleur Carson was ordering, Yusuf used telekinesis to probe the second floor, and then the third.

On the third floor, a dozen people dressed in kimonos were talking in a room, all kneeling on the floor with solemn-faced central figure sitting cross-legged, appearing to scold something, while the kneeling ones kept exclaiming in agreement.

When Yusuf saw this scene, his eyebrows raised as it reminded him of scenes from TV dramas; these people seemed to be part of an organization.

"Third floor, eleven people, do you understand Japanese?" Yusuf whispered.

"A little, everyday conversation," Fleur replied.

"It looks like there are ten people kneeling on both sides, with one person sitting cross-legged in the middle, giving a lecture," Yusuf said oddly. "They keep shouting ’hai, hai, hai’ nonstop!"

"What do their clothes look like?"

"Kimonos, like the skirts ancient people wore."

"Hm, are there any specific symbols, or can you see any tattoos on these people? The patterns on their kimonos and such. Kimonos in Japan are not just worn randomly, they are particular. Describe them in detail." As an assassin who had traversed the entire world, Fleur had also been to Japan.

"There are indeed differences," Yusuf said, continuing to probe with telekinesis. "The leader has a badge-like object on the left chest, circular, and it actually has a black dragon inside it."

"Also, these people all have tattoos, I saw them, some even have their whole bodies covered in dense totem patterns!"

"Black Dragon Club, the largest syndicate in Japan, a gang organization recognized and registered in Japan, their emblem is the Black Dragon symbol!"

"Black Dragon Club?" Hearing these three words, Yusuf gasped. Hadn’t he eaten pork or seen pigs run?

The name Black Dragon Club was known by all compatriots. During the war of resistance, the Black Dragon Club participated in the war and even dominated it at one point. The majority of the militaristic zealots were members of the Black Dragon Club.

The Black Dragon Club is a vast organizational structure, long involved in Japan’s politics, military, culture, and the like. It can be said that in this or that party in Japan, the Black Dragon Club had a presence!

"Since it’s the Black Dragon Club, then Lucy Clayton’s information must be true. These people, they must be killed!" Yusuf grunted angrily. Since it was the Black Dragon Club, there was no need to talk about enmities, even without any, he would still **** them all!
