Invisible Security Guard -
Chapter 264: Dealing
Chapter 264: Chapter 264: Dealing
Kevin Nash’s entire body broke out in a sweat, his heart pounding wildly. Although Ted Wolfe lay dead before him, he hadn’t moved an inch.
He dared not move. The jade hairpin above the woman’s head seemed to have eyes of its own, watching him, locking onto him.
He felt danger, the sort that could bring death at any moment.
If he called Yusuf Zuck a whelp, then without a doubt, Zuck was a ferocious one, with a heart like a wolf’s. He couldn’t be sure whether Zuck would kill him too, for although they were blood-related... there was also hatred between them.
Alvin Petty, Edison Petty, and Lance Torres were initially eager to watch the excitement, curious about just how capable Yusuf Zuck was. But this dramatic turn of events left all three completely stunned.
A flying hairpin? A hairpin that can turn corners, that can float?
No, this was a Flying Sword. Yusuf Zuck could control the hairpin to claim lives.
No wonder he killed a Grandmaster. To him, a Grandmaster was probably no more than a fart, right?
Mia watched the flying hairpin in shock, her Yusuf Zuck was so impressive?
Alec Petty also watched as her hairpin took flight, never having imagined that her own hairpin would do such a thing.
At this moment, Daisy Wilkinson also finally understood why Yusuf Zuck was so arrogant, because this wasn’t something a human could achieve.
"Whoosh~" After the jade hairpin hung motionless in the air for a few seconds, it suddenly circled around and landed in Yusuf Zuck’s hand.
Yusuf Zuck then smiled, "Sister Alec, I’ve dirtied your hairpin. I’ll compensate you with a better one later!"
"No need, no need, it’s fine," Alec Petty quickly shook her hand, declining.
Yusuf Zuck nodded, then turned to Daisy Wilkinson, "Auntie, I just killed someone. Do you know anyone who could help me get away? There were already people wanting to send me out of the country; I didn’t want to go before, but now it seems I have no choice but to become a fugitive."
"And everyone else, could you possibly wait until after I run away to call the police? Could you do me that favor?" Yusuf Zuck didn’t seem nervous at all; on the contrary, he spoke with a smile on his face.
Of course, the murderous intent hadn’t faded from his face, and everyone could see that he was a smiling tiger.
"Uh..." Everyone hesitated for a moment. In fact, they hadn’t considered calling the police at all, not even thought about the issue of legality.
"I want to go on the lam with you..." Mia immediately clung to Yusuf Zuck’s arm. The prospect of fleeing was too exciting, just to her liking.
"Yusuf Zuck, you... you... you..." Kevin Nash finally found his voice, stuttering in his anger. He had never imagined that Yusuf Zuck could kill Ted Wolfe with such ease.
"I’ve said it before, don’t bother me again or you’ll bear the consequences. Ted Wolfe is just the beginning."
"Of course, you might want to consider my earlier suggestion to send Tyler Nash to Thailand. Wouldn’t be a bad idea. You better keep a close eye on him, don’t let him come after me, or it’s not going to be as simple as losing your balls and eggs, you understand?"
"Alright, you can call the police now, but I need to leave first, everyone, I bid you farewell!" Yusuf Zuck greeted everyone with a salute and lifted his leg to leave.
No one dared to stop him, not even Kevin Nash.
"Haha, Mr. Zuck is indeed an otherworldly expert who naturally transcends the law. Rest assured, Mr. Zuck, no need to flee, you haven’t killed anyone, after all, we saw nothing!" Edison Petty laughed loudly, the first to speak up. So what if someone died? The Petty Family had ways to cover it up.
"Mr. Nash, what do you say?" Daisy Wilkinson looked towards Kevin Nash at this moment. The matter depended on Kevin Nash’s stance—if he chose to call the police, they would have to handle it through official channels. But if Kevin Nash decided not to involve the police, then it would be much easier to deal with.
Kevin Nash sighed deeply and suddenly bowed to Daisy Wilkinson, "I must trouble you, Ms. Wilkinson!"
"Alright then, leave it to me. Everyone, I am hosting a dinner with my brother-in-law, Mr. Tuff, here tonight in honor of Yusuf Zuck. I hope you will all grace us with your presence!" Daisy Wilkinson said with a smile. She had mentioned wanting to take Yusuf Zuck out for a meal in the morning, but he hadn’t agreed.
But now, as she actively mentioned having dinner with Yusuf Zuck there tonight, it was as if Yusuf Zuck had already agreed to it.
Yusuf Zuck glanced at her and at the same time, he understood what she meant.
What she meant was, "I’m handling the body for you, so you can’t possibly refuse a dinner invitation, right?"
"Sure, sure, we’ll come over tonight for the fun," Edison Petty said, nodding eagerly.
"Thank you, Aunt Daisy," Yusuf Zuck said nothing more, knowing that he must attend the dinner tonight.
He took another look at Kevin Nash before turning to walk out, saying as he went, "I hope everyone keeps a tight lid on this. The events of today must be suppressed—no mentions ever again. Otherwise, if the slightest word leaks out, it might just draw Yusuf Zuck’s ire."
After descending the floors with Mia, Alec Petty, and the others from the Petty Family, Yusuf Zuck jumped into one of the Petty Family’s cars.
Mia, being clingy, held onto Yusuf Zuck’s arm and wouldn’t let go. Even if Yusuf Zuck was going to visit the Petty Family, Mia was set on accompanying him, and the Petty Family, having guessed Mia’s identity, naturally had no objections. In fact, they were even preparing to make special arrangements to accommodate and host Miss Tuff well.
Yusuf Zuck, Mia, and Alec Petty took one car, accompanied by Alvin Petty and a driver.
Meanwhile, in another car, Edison Petty was on the phone, detailing everything that had happened at the hotel to the old master of the Petty Family, sparing no detail!
"Kevin Nash’s son? Yusuf Zuck killed Ted Wolfe from the Nash family? Flying Sword?" The old master gasped after hearing the news and found Yusuf Zuck’s past mysterious.
How could Yusuf Zuck be Kevin Nash’s son and yet seem like bitter enemies with Kevin Nash?
"We’re already on the road, and Yusuf Zuck will soon be here. Also, he has a girlfriend with him, who, if we’re not mistaken, is Marco Tuff’s daughter. Yusuf Zuck knows both Marco Tuff and Daisy Wilkinson, and now Wilkinson is handling the hotel situation."
"This Yusuf Zuck is not a simple character. It seems we need to make a substantial investment. He is worth it, whether for his Flying Sword or telekinesis abilities, as such individuals are rare in this world. We must secure him firmly to our Petty Family chariot. I’ll make a series of adjustments later. The previous offer we made might not be enough to secure his loyalty. I plan to take decisive action this time. That’s all for now; I’ll make the arrangements immediately," the old master said, and then he hung up the phone.
Meanwhile, at the hotel, Kevin Nash spoke with Daisy Wilkinson, "Ms. Wilkinson, I will have to trouble you to apologize to Mr. Tuff for me this evening, as I won’t be able to attend. I must go back to Zhonghai overnight, as there are other matters I need to take care of."
"Regarding our companies’ cooperation, I will discuss it with Mr. Tuff over the phone!"
"Sure, I wish Mr. Nash a safe journey. I hope you can find peace with today’s events. Yusuf Zuck once saved Lara’s life; Mr. Tuff appreciates him greatly, and we owe Yusuf Zuck a favor," she said.
"Haha, that’s a matter between him and you, it has nothing to do with me!" Kevin Nash had now completely calmed down, appearing as if nothing had ever transpired.
"Then you and Yusuf Zuck..." Daisy Wilkinson began, looking at Kevin Nash with confusion.
Kevin Nash’s face darkened, "There’s been a mistake. I have only two sons, and they both have the Nash surname. How could a son of Kevin Nash possibly have the surname Zuck? That’s mistaken. Let’s leave it at that; I should go. I have to trouble you, Ms. Wilkinson, to send Ted Wolfe’s ashes to Zhonghai later!"
"Will do," Daisy Wilkinson nodded.
