Invisible Security Guard
Chapter 1490: Little Aunt

Chapter 1490: Chapter 1490: Little Aunt

The Saintess had left, and after receiving Yusuf Zuck’s orders, Ivy Frost didn’t stay too long in the Heaven Heart Pavilion. Yusuf wanted her to familiarize herself with the environment here, as caution ensures survival. He still needed to prepare for future escape plans.

The Sacred Mountain was vast, filled with countless pavilions and palaces such as the War God Pavilion, Heaven Heart Pavilion, Lecture Hall, and many others, all grand and majestic. Ivy Frost didn’t know what her master intended to do, but she couldn’t disobey his orders. Thus, she wandered aimlessly from the outer ring and visited every pavilion once.

In contrast, Yusuf Zuck quietly memorized the routes to all the pavilions.

Finally, after Ivy Frost roamed around for an entire day, she found herself at the legendary Saint Temple’s entrance.

The Saint Temple was easy to locate—it was situated at the peak of the mountain and had only one entrance and exit. Outside the temple, numerous Armored Warriors stood guard.

The plaque above the grand hall’s entrance displayed the words "Saint Temple," and above it, swirling currents of energy continuously rotated. It was evident that the temple was protected by powerful restrictions, different from those seen elsewhere.

It seemed the Sacred Mountain had already issued a proclamation announcing the old ancestor’s newly accepted closed-door disciple, Ivy Frost. Wherever she went, people would approach to pay respects. This was true even outside the Saint Temple.

As Ivy Frost was busy looking around outside the temple, a tall man in red robes descended from the air.

He was a slightly plump elder with the characteristic features of the Feathered Race.

As soon as the elder landed, he gracefully bowed to Ivy Frost and said, "Holy Temple Deacon Bobby Hahn pays respect to the beautiful princess."

"Princess" was how people addressed Ivy Frost here. However, others who had greeted her before would kneel on one knee, but Bobby Hahn didn’t kneel. Clearly, Bobby Hahn held a very high status as the Holy Temple Deacon.

"Ask him what it would take to enter the temple," Yusuf reminded her.

Ivy Frost’s eyes flickered as she gracefully curtsied and said, "Respected Uncle Bobby, may I ask if this is the legendary Saint Temple? Are you the Deacon here?"

Hearing Ivy Frost call him Uncle Bobby, Bobby Hahn couldn’t help but smile joyfully and nodded, "Indeed, this is the Saint Temple. Its daily maintenance is under my responsibility."

"Then may I go inside for a look? The Saintess elder sister said earlier it wasn’t permitted." Ivy Frost spoke with an innocent and naive tone, befitting her youthful nature.

"Well..." Bobby Hahn shook his head and replied, "The Saint Temple isn’t open right now."

"What does ’not open’ mean?" Ivy Frost pressed further.

"It means the Saint Temple can only be opened at specific times. Entry is determined by the old ancestor or the Saint Master. Normally, the temple remains closed unless either of them specifically grants access for someone to enter temporarily!"

"Why is that?" Ivy Frost asked, puzzled.

"Because the Saint Temple leads to the core area, where the bloodline of the volatile Giant Spirit God resides. This bloodline is extremely unstable and requires suppression and sealing. If someone were to enter unauthorized, it could cause a backlash, leading to chaos," Bobby Hahn patiently explained, fearing she might not understand.

"Then when will it open? Do I have special permission to enter temporarily?"

"The opening time is uncertain. As a princess, you naturally have the privilege to request a temporary entry, but it still requires authorization from the old ancestor or the Saint Master."

"Got it—thank you, Uncle Bobby!" Ivy Frost curtsied again and prepared to leave, while Bobby Hahn, of course, returned the gesture.

"Master, where to next? Should I force my way in? I’m the closed-door disciple; even if I break in, they won’t do much to me, right?" Ivy Frost communicated with Yusuf.

"No need. That Bobby Hahn is probably at the Saint or Heavenly Emperor Realm. He could kill us with a flick of his finger, so we wait for an opportunity. Weren’t you planning to find your aunt? Go ahead—do what you wish to do."

"I don’t even know what my aunt looks like. Besides, I’m hungry. Master, aren’t you hungry too? You’re not secretly drinking my blood inside my body, are you?"

"Can you stop talking to me?" Yusuf replied helplessly. This girl truly was difficult to deal with.

"Alright then, I’ll go... go find something to eat. I think I passed by an imperial kitchen earlier..." The little miss, ever obsessed with food, skipped away toward the kitchen she had spotted.

Yusuf didn’t bother to argue with her; despite her being sixteen, she had been pampered and sheltered since childhood. She was still immature and didn’t understand much.

Meanwhile, Yusuf quieted down as well, knowing now wasn’t the time to act. Based on his current cultivation realm, he probably couldn’t even defeat the guards here.

This was a separate plane entirely, and at most, he was at the Middle Stage of God Respect. While he possessed the Power of the Giants and innate spiritual treasures, they were only enough to defeat Emperor Realm cultivators. He likely couldn’t even contend with those at the Heavenly Master Territory, let alone the guards here, who were all at the Heavenly King Realm. The difference was simply too great.

"So, since I’ve come, I might as well stay put. There’ll be opportunities ahead," he thought to himself.

Besides, outside, all kinds of deities and demons were likely searching for him. Even if he managed to escape, his life probably wouldn’t improve. It might be better to hide here—hide inside Ivy Frost’s body and wait for the right moment. As soon as that opportunity came, he could enter the Saint Temple and absorb the Giant Spirit God’s bloodline energy—the power of the giants!

Ivy Frost found food in the kitchen. With her high status, she could eat whatever she wanted, and after she had her fill, she returned to the Heaven Heart Pavilion.

She was determined to strengthen herself, and the Heaven Heart Pavilion was undoubtedly the best place to cultivate.

However, just as she reached the entrance, a graceful woman stood smiling at her. The moment Ivy Frost saw her, she guessed it was likely her aunt, given how much she resembled her mother. Moreover, she was also of the Blue Blood Race.

"Is this my darling little Princess Ivy Frost?" the graceful woman said with a smile.

"Are you my Aunt Kelly?" Ivy Frost asked excitedly.

"Of course I am! Who else could it be? When you were little, I used to hold you all the time. You even loved peeing on me! Come, let Aunt hug you again," Kelly said, opening her arms.

"Auntie!" Ivy Frost exclaimed and threw herself into Kelly’s arms like a child.

The two hugged briefly before separating, and Kelly tousled Ivy Frost’s hair, saying, "Our little princess is so beautiful and so impressive, managing to become the old ancestor’s closed-door disciple. From now on, you’ll have to call me senior disciple!"

"Uh..." Ivy Frost blinked in confusion and asked, "You’re also the old ancestor’s disciple?"

"Yes, I’m the seventh saint disciple," Kelly replied.

"Hehe, does that mean we can strut around the Sacred Mountain together from now on?" Ivy Frost giggled.

Kelly was amused by Ivy Frost’s cheekiness and ruffled her hair again, saying, "Come, I’ve got a gift for you."

"What kind of gift? Is it an innate spiritual treasure?" Ivy Frost asked.

"Aunt doesn’t have innate spiritual treasures, but I do have the bloodline of the Heart of the Giant Spirit. It’s a supreme sacred artifact. Once you consume it, you’ll likely break through to the Heavenly Master Territory in no time!"

"What? The bloodline of the Giant Spirit God?" Ivy Frost exclaimed in shock, and Yusuf Zuck, hidden within her body, was equally astonished!
