Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: See Who Dies
The moment the eight great ancestors arrived, they made their move. Eight energy balls hurled directly at Yusuf Zuck, who was undergoing his tenth lightning tribulation.
However, Yusuf Zuck, mid-tribulation, suddenly let out a cold laugh. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed a swift and consecutive series of eight blade strikes.
The blade strikes formed sharp, knife-like arcs of light, infused with unparalleled Giant Spirit Power. In an instant—like lightning—his strikes collided with the eight energy balls, creating a chain of explosions.
This was the strongest attack of the Controllers, and with all eight acting in unison, the collision between the blade strikes and the energy balls sent waves of energy rippling outward.
"Ssschh—" The energy waves were even more terrifying than a nuclear blast. As the shockwave passed, places like Sunset Tower were instantly reduced to ashes. The guards surrounding the square, and everyone within hundreds or even thousands of miles of the epicenter, were vaporized in an instant.
Indeed, clashes between the strongest of beings are beyond what ordinary people can bear. You don’t even have the qualifications to watch.
On the square, however, two individuals survived—Dead Demoness and Black Tiger. Both were near Yusuf Zuck, shielded under his protection, not even losing a single strand of fur or hair.
Moreover, the Eternal Hall complex near Sunset Square still stood tall, not even shedding a single speck of rubble. No one knew who had constructed the Eternal Hall, but its resilience was remarkable.
"What? He destroyed our Control Beads?" After the explosions subsided, the eight great ancestors’ expressions turned dark and heavy, exuding a terrifyingly solemn air.
This Yusuf Zuck, able to shatter the combined attack of all eight ancestors even while undergoing tribulation—just how powerful had he become?
Though they hadn’t arrived in their physical forms, they were still able to manipulate Control Power, albeit to varying degrees.
But now it seemed, Control Power was ineffective against him?
"Continue the attack," Pharaoh shouted sharply. Suddenly, his entire body trembled as one of his hands reached into his own forehead.
Indeed, he plunged his right hand into his own forehead, as though his head contained some kind of hidden space.
With a swift motion, he drew out a whip—it was blood-red, dripping with a sinister liquid. The moment the whip emerged, the sky darkened, space trembled, and the whip itself crackled violently with explosive sounds.
Thunder Ancestor bit the tip of his tongue, spitting out a ray of red light that condensed into crimson lightning: "Rapid Flash Strike."
Old Zhou revealed a Radiant Circle that shimmered brightly.
Old Wu produced a Brush Dust, while Old Xia wielded a miniature mountain. Old Kong held a Bowl, Old Yun spat out a Pearl, and Old Nong drew forth a Seal.
The eight ancestors finally unleashed their Magic Treasures, casting them simultaneously at Yusuf Zuck.
At that moment, as Yusuf Zuck overcame his tenth lightning bolt, his Blood Beads suddenly snapped open with a loud crack.
Seventy-four—his Yellow Blood Beads had reached seventy-four.
Giant Spirit Power surged around Yusuf Zuck, layering his body in protective energy. As he continuously struck with blade-like hands, he quickly examined the information transmitted by the newly opened Blood Bead.
Currently, he was in the midst of tribulation. The blade strikes formed by his Giant Spirit Power couldn’t truly harm the eight great ancestors, leaving him passive and on the defensive without the ability to launch active attacks.
He urgently needed an ability capable of annihilating the Divine Skills of the eight great ancestors.
"Hm? Giant Spirit Light?" The information began with four characters: "Giant Spirit Light." Yusuf Zuck read through it swiftly.
Within the span of one breath, he had finished reading. His eyes gleamed brightly.
This Giant Spirit Light was a divine skill that required the Giant Spirit Seed to take root and sprout before it could be activated. Now, the Yellow Blood Beads were intricately linked to the Giant Spirit Seed within his spiritual sea. As the seed continued to grow, the divine skills manifested by subsequent Blood Beads seemed correspondingly interconnected with the seed.
By now, his Giant Spirit Seed had indeed sprouted—after ten years in the Tower of Heaven, absorbing three types of energy, it had grown into a sapling over a foot tall, a green seedling. Yusuf Zuck did not yet know whether the seedling would grow into a towering tree or bloom into a magnificent flower.
Indeed, the sprouting of the Giant Spirit Seed had occurred. The divine skill appearing now was one that could only be wielded after the seed had taken root and sprouted.
Giant Spirit Light, built upon the foundation of the seed’s growth, utilized the Eye of Heaven as a medium. Giant Spirit Power activated the Eye of Heaven, shooting forth green light capable of revitalizing all things—or instantly decaying them, extracting their energy and transferring it to the Giant Spirit Seedling.
Of course, Giant Spirit Light also possessed immense destructive power, particularly against disembodied souls. Even those not fully disembodied would have their Spirit Soul Power absorbed—or face complete annihilation—if struck by the light.
"Amazing divine skill." Yusuf Zuck praised it immediately upon finishing the text. It was akin to someone handing him a pillow when he needed rest. After rereading the information, he promptly bit through his fingertip and smeared blood across his forehead.
Meanwhile, the eight great ancestors were relentless in their assault. Their Magic Treasures continually battered Yusuf Zuck’s Gigantic Spirit Defense, causing fractures and tremors, threatening to break through his barrier.
Being eight Controllers, their power was naturally formidable.
"Eeeek—" Under the continuous onslaught, Yusuf Zuck activated the Eye of Heaven. His gaze hardened as a third eye opened, glowing with green light. Streams of emerald brilliance shot out.
He targeted Pharaoh first, as Pharaoh seemed to be the leader and possessed the most potent offensive capability among them.
The green light shot toward Pharaoh without a sound, crossing the space almost instantly. As it touched Pharaoh’s defense, an audible "snap" echoed as his shield shattered. The following second, smoke began rising from his body.
"Aaah! What is this light?" Pharaoh cried out in agony, his voice trembling. Though his form was an energy being impervious to physical attacks—capable of reforming upon dispersion—this emerald light broke through not only his defense but also siphoned his spiritual energies and reduced his shadowy figure to smoke. He could feel his Spirit Energy rapidly depleting... No, being absorbed—being drained into the green glow.
"Aaaah! You dare court death!" Pharaoh roared in fury, lashing his blood-red whip once more.
"Annihilate. Explode!" Yusuf Zuck’s voice was cold and commanding. His initial intention had been to test whether he could absorb Pharaoh’s Spirit Energy. But now, seeing that Pharaoh hadn’t perished immediately, he abandoned absorption and opted for outright extermination.
The Giant Spirit Light served as an ultimate weapon designed to obliterate disembodied souls. A single pronouncement of "explode," and the green light trembled, detonating Pharaoh’s shadow figure into countless green fragments. The fragments shimmered erratically before fusing back into the emerald brilliance.
"What?"
"No!"
The remaining seven ancestors cried out in alarm, preparing to flee. They realized the opponent was utterly unkillable!
"Trying to flee? Too late!" Though Yusuf Zuck knew he wouldn’t be able to destroy their physical forms, he resolved to eliminate all eight of these energy projections today.
His gaze shifted to Old Wu, then to Old Zhou, then to Old Nong...
Wherever his gaze landed—death followed.
