But if you officially contract these mountains through the authorities, not only will the land be yours, but you would also remain a lawful citizen of the realm. Even if there were bandit suppression operations, you would not be targeted but would instead receive appropriate protection.

As for what you want to do with the mountain you contract, no one cares. You can do whatever you want, even flatten the entire mountain if you wish.

In fact, this contracting is also a self-operating revenue stream for Guard City. Anyway, those mountains are doing nothing, so they are up for grabs to anyone willing to pay the right price.

After Yusuf Zuck paid one hundred million Spirit Stones, the ’Twin Peaks’ to the southwest of Guard City became his forever, meaning he could use them permanently and no one would take them back.

As for why they are called Twin Peaks, it is because the two mountains resemble two high buttocks.

"Big brother, can you first tell us what exactly you intend to do here? Just to be a hermit?" Leonidas King asked, struggling.

"I plan to grow herbs for Alchemy and cultivate unparalleled treasures," Yusuf Zuck chuckled.

Alden Baxter and Leonidas King were stunned; in the next second, they started to roll their eyes continuously. It was well-known that rare treasures do not grow from planting. For instance, in the Immortal Realm, all sorts of supreme immortal herbs like Nine-leaf Lotus Seeds, dragon salivary fruits, Sacred Dragon Fruits, and the likes are naturally grown, and it takes countless years for them to bloom and bear fruit.

And here in the Heavenly Realm, wouldn’t every blade of grass have grown for countless years? It likely takes millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of years for a rare treasure to grow and mature, right?

Are we expected to cultivate here for billions of years?

Growing such rare herbs and treasures, it’s not instantly rewarding; it takes time, time, time!

"Just do what you’re told, why all the fuss?" Yusuf Zuck glared at him.

Leonidas King gave a wry smile but then nodded determinedly, being somewhat more sensible than Alden Baxter.

"If we want to set up a Formation surrounding both mountain peaks, it would be a Big Array. I’m not quite sure what you’re up to, big brother, but I suggest we set up Three Defense Arrays," Leonidas King said, resigned to his task since there was no dissuading Yusuf Zuck.

"Oh? Let’s hear it!" Yusuf Zuck said curiously.

"The first Array is the all-encompassing Big Array you mentioned. This Array doesn’t need to be too extravagant or have an overly secure defense. Just set up simple defense and protective Arrays to signal to outsiders that the land has an owner!"

"The second Array should be established around the perimeter of our chosen dwelling area. This Array should be at least ten times smaller, or even a hundred times smaller, than the outer Array. It should form the middle circle, and its defense must be top-notch."

"The third Array will be where we live as well as your herb garden for cultivation, all encompassed within this third Array. This will be our last line of defense, and more materials will be needed."

"Also, setting up these three Big Arrays isn’t something that can be done in a day or two. If it’s just me and you supply all manner of materials, it will probably take years. Of course, I’ll spend this time learning in the city or communicating with other Array Masters."

"Years will work. This place will be our base, our den, in the future. As long as the den is strong, a few years of waiting is necessary!" Yusuf Zuck nodded.

"What about me then, what do I need to do?" Alden Baxter suddenly asked anxiously.

"You have a task too," Yusuf Zuck chuckled. "I’ll give you some Spirit Stones, and with those, you’ll head to the nearby large or small cities and help me find rare treasures!"

"That’s a good job, but how much will you give me? If it’s too little, I won’t be able to afford anything!"

"Three million Spirit Stones," Yusuf Zuck pondered before answering.

"What? Three million? Just a wolf pelt alone costs five million, what kind of treasures can you get with just three million?" Alden Baxter’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"Let me finish," Yusuf Zuck waved his hand, smiling. "It doesn’t necessarily have to be finished products of the treasures."

"For example, if you hear about some Divine Fruit or such, and if you can’t afford the fruit itself, you could afford the seed, right? If not the seed, then perhaps a twig? And if even a twig is too expensive, then bring me a leaf."

"The same applies to other rare and precious medicines; don’t go for the finished products. You just get the root, or stem, or seeds, etc."

"Of course, I’ll also be treasure-hunting in various places. We’ll split up for the task!" Yusuf Zuck said laughingly.
