As he tumbled forward, before he could regain clarity in his daze, a pungent stench assaulted his nostrils. His vision blurred, but when he made out the scene before him clearly, his whole body broke out in goosebumps.

Because the wolf had already pounced forward, and with gaping jaws, it bit towards his throat!

"Time Halt!" he bellowed, attempting to stop time for a split second.

No sooner had his voice fallen than the wolf’s gaping jaws clamped down on his neck.

Indeed, in just one round, the wolf had succeeded. It wasn’t that Yusuf Zuck wasn’t strong, but that the wolf was far stronger; they were simply not on the same level.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!" Yusuf Zuck suddenly shouted, and when his body trembled, a drop of Essence Dew secreted from the fingertip that was prying at the wolf’s mouth, dropping precisely onto the wolf’s tongue!

It was a desperate remedy, one of the only two solutions he could think of on the spot!

The first was to try using the Essence Dew; after all, the wolf was a demon, and his Essence Dew held unique effects on demons.

The second was - if all else failed - he would have to enter Blue Sea and Cloud Sky, because he truly could not surpass this wolf!

The wolf swallowed the Essence Dew as it continued drinking Yusuf Zuck’s blood.

Two seconds...

Three seconds...

Buzz...

"Woo-Ao~" After three seconds, the wolf suddenly howled aloud, then its grip loosened from Yusuf Zuck’s neck. Its body convulsed as it collapsed to the ground, its insides seemingly crawling with large bugs, and from each of its pores blood flowed, its fur instantly soaked in blood red.

Yusuf Zuck sat up, both hands clutching his nearly severed neck, gasping for air, feeling like he couldn’t catch his breath, his head almost falling off, entirely devoid of strength, having lost too much blood!

"Second Brother, Third Brother, Roman Berger, quickly drain their blood and skin them!" He showed no mercy, because without the Essence Dew, he would have been dead.

Furthermore, Celestial Beasts and Demon Cultivators are different; Demon Cultivators can morph into humans. So, had he seen a gentle and frail woman kneeling before him, he might have softened, but the opponent was just a wolf.
