Chapter 105: Chapter 105: Bar Incident

Lara Tuff was too wild, and Yusuf Zuck couldn’t tame her, no matter what he tried, soft or hard. But although she was wild, she wasn’t annoying and belonged to the kind that attracted people’s fondness.

When she heard Yusuf Zuck curse, she wasn’t startled or scared; instead, she started dancing and slamming on the car horn excitedly.

Yusuf Zuck was scared into a cold sweat by her and hurriedly begged for mercy, "Granny, I give up. Slow down the car, please stop honking."

"Then you have to promise me to be my bodyguard for one night. Whatever I tell you to do, you do, and in return, sis will give you a car, how about that?" Mia threatened.

"So capricious?" Yusuf Zuck looked at her, "Why don’t you just keep me then? Ten million a month, fighting and getting into brawls, hopping into bed for a quick romp, I’m up for anything."

"Go to hell with your nonsense," Mia finally blushed, Yusuf Zuck really dared to say anything, and she didn’t dare to retort.

"I’m not interested in your car, so no, I won’t be your bodyguard," Yusuf Zuck said, shaking his head with a smile.

"Not even for one night? I’d give you a car," Mia widened her eyes.

Yusuf Zuck chuckled coldly, "I want to be a man, not a dog. Brother here doesn’t need your car either!"

"Well, I freaking love that attitude of yours," Mia also let out a curse as the white Range Rover swiftly moved through the bustling streets.

In the capital’s Trim Bar area, one finds one of the busiest night entertainment streets. It’s frequented by foreigners living in the capital region, and by domestic celebrities and tycoons. As dusk falls, the area lights up with neon signs, bustling crowds swirl, and the glittering lights reflect the city’s noise and luxury.

The Trim Bar has always given off a "misty" vibe; its true face is unclear to everyone, and no one can give it a precise commercial definition.

When Yusuf Zuck and Mia arrived at Trim Bar, it was already after midnight. She expertly parked the Range Rover in front of a bar marked with English letters, a place that looked quite trendy from the outside.

"What does that English lettering spell?" Yusuf Zuck was truly a country bumpkin and didn’t know any English.

"Cocomo," Mia explained offhandedly.

"Oh, one hour, we can only play for one hour, then we go home," Yusuf Zuck laid down the law.

"Okay, as you say. Come with me, my friends should be playing here," Mia led Yusuf Zuck upstairs, and then to the top floor – it turned out the bar was located on a rooftop.

Even after midnight, the place was bustling. There was a singer performing live, lots of people drinking and playing games, and of course, many lonely men and women looking for their next catch.

This was Yusuf Zuck’s first time at Trim Bar, and he found it quite novel, yet somewhat meaningless. Deep down, he was actually very traditional and conservative.

"Hey, look who’s here, a woman as vibrant as a rainbow!" As Mia brought Yusuf Zuck onto the rooftop, a group of seven or eight young men and women stood up in one corner and toasted together.

Yusuf Zuck glanced at the group. They were stylishly dressed, around the same age as Mia, the guys handsome and youthful, and the girls beautiful and classy.

"NONONO, it’s not woman, okay, it’s girl!" Mia corrected and suddenly grabbed Yusuf Zuck’s hand, pushing him to the front and announced, "Let me introduce everyone, this is my man, Yusuf Zuck."

"Ah..." Yusuf Zuck was stunned by Mia’s words. He was supposed to pretend to be her bodyguard just moments ago, so how did he become her man all of a sudden?

The group of men and women were also taken aback, then they began to size up Yusuf Zuck with curious looks.

Mia had always been single before, with many from their circle pursuing her only to be rejected. There weren’t many people in that circle whom Mia held in high regard.

But now, Mia actually brought a man and declared him her man? What did that mean? Wasn’t that as good as saying they had slept together?

The group looked Yusuf Zuck up and down a few times but surprisingly, none of them greeted him. They were rich, willful, and carried a sense of pride.

"Mia, what does your man do for a living?" A handsome guy in his twenties swirled his drink. He had no interest in talking to a stranger, even if this man had gotten together with Mia. But he wasn’t one of their crowd. They might accept Mia, but as for Mia’s man, they’d rather not!

"Yeah, whose son is this?" a woman said with a mocking tone.

"Man, tell them what you are here for!" Mia clung to Yusuf Zuck’s arm, surprisingly bold.

Yusuf Zuck blinked, "A gigolo, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve just been kept by her. She said she’d give me a car to be her boyfriend for the night!"

"Pfft―" Upon hearing Yusuf Zuck’s words, Mia, who had just taken a cocktail and had a sip, sprayed it out. The liquid splattered all over the men and women in front of her.

The seven or eight men and women were stunned. Was this guy for real?

"Yusuf Zuck, you bastard, can’t you be serious for once?" Mia said, half laughing, half crying.

"Serious my ass. Drink your drink. I’m going to find a beauty to take home and cuddle with for the night." Yusuf Zuck shook off her arm, glanced at the astonished men and women, and turned to leave.

"Damn, Mia, your man’s got some serious firepower. He’s got real personality. Come sit and tell us, what exactly does your man do?"

"Yeah, yeah, your man’s really something!" Several women praised, looking at Yusuf Zuck’s retreating figure.

A couple of guys snorted. Anyone could tell that Yusuf Zuck was bluffing.

"He’s just a bastard, let’s not talk about him, let’s drink." Mia really didn’t know what Yusuf Zuck was planning to do, but she couldn’t tell them that Yusuf Zuck used to be a bodyguard.

Yusuf Zuck took a seat at the bar and ordered a beer. Despite saying he was going to pick up a woman to take home, he really wasn’t in the mood, so he just sat quietly at the bar drinking.

He took out his phone, glanced at the time, and saw that it was nearly one in the morning. After about a few minutes of silence, he sent out a text message.

It was sent to Ruth Wilcox.

He hadn’t contacted her all day. He didn’t know whether she was still in Shanghai or had already returned to Lobin.

After sending the message, he waited for ten minutes with no reply. Yusuf Zuck sighed softly and put away his phone.

Just as Yusuf Zuck was lost in thought, a scream suddenly came from the corner where Mia and the others were seated, followed by a woman cursing, "Lara Tuff, are you fucking sick?"

"You’re the sick one. If I want to do something, I’ll do it. Who the hell are you to talk shit?"

"Stop fighting, stop fighting. Look at you two, going at it again..." Several men immediately got up to separate Mia and the beautiful woman, fearing they might start a catfight.

At that moment, Yusuf Zuck quickly approached. No matter what, he couldn’t let Mia be at a disadvantage.

"What’s going on?" He pulled Mia behind him and looked at the seated woman. Right now, her face and chest were soaked with alcohol, and Mia’s face and hair were also dripping wet. It was obvious the two women had thrown drinks at each other.

"It’s none of your business. Go mind your own, we don’t welcome you here." One of the men said coldly, glancing at Yusuf Zuck.

"Yeah, this is our circle’s business, so it has nothing to do with you." Another man stood up, signalling very exclusionarily that Yusuf Zuck could leave.

Yusuf Zuck gave the two men a cold look, then pulled Mia and headed out.

Just as Yusuf Zuck and Mia had taken a step to leave, the woman Mia had splashed with the drink said, "Lara Tuff, you can’t go, you have to apologize and make amends. This dress was just bought for me by ’Bro Huan’. You have to pay up!"

Mia spun around angrily, "Don’t use your Bro Huan to press me. I’ve never been afraid of anyone in my life!"

"Heh heh, Mia, being mischievous again!" Just then, as Mia had barely finished speaking, a young man wearing a mandarin collar Zhongshan suit came from the staircase.

"Bro Huan!" Hearing this voice and seeing this person, the group of men and women in the corner all stood up and respectfully called out to Bro Huan.
