Lin Fei held Qin Yun even tighter and then bit down on the lobe of her ear.

The earlobe and the base of the ear, which were Qin Yun’s sensitive spots, made her feel ticklish and unbearable, making her entire body tremble once again.

Qin Yun struggled weakly, her reason forcing her to say these words.

"What work?"

Lin Fei released his mouth and hands.

Qin Yun suggested to Lin Fei.

Qin Yun glared at Lin Fei. Her demeanor was an expression of her willingness to indulge Lin Fei, to be intimate with him – of course, only to the extent of what had happened yesterday. Lin Fei wishing to go any further was still off-limits.

Lin Fei understood Qin Yun’s tacit consent and was excited. He immediately called out to her, "Yun Jie, let’s go, we’ll dig up potatoes first!"

"Okay then!"

Lin Fei nodded.

The two went to the main house, where Lin Fei picked up a bamboo shoulder pole, hung two baskets on it, and grabbed a hoe, while Qin Yun carried the back basket and took a small hoe. They then headed up the slope, taking advantage of the cool morning weather.

Birds fluttered and chirped, adding a touch of vitality to the peaceful morning in the small village.

Dew covered the trees and grass everywhere.

After walking up two steep slopes, they finally arrived at a narrow stretch of sandy land beside a pine forest.

This elongated patch of sandy soil housed the potatoes; Lin Fei and Qin Yun set down their items and started digging with their hoes.

They worked side by side, and as Qin Yun swung her hoe, bending at the waist, her upper body’s twin peaks swayed in the wind, catching Lin Fei’s eye and stirring his emotions once again.

"What on earth are you looking at, you rascal..."

Qin Yun glared at Lin Fei.

"Hehe, Yun Jie, you’re really well-endowed. If we had a child, you definitely wouldn’t let them go hungry!" Lin Fei cheekily said to Qin Yun.

"You rascal, are you starting with your nonsense again?"

Two flushes of red bloomed on Qin Yun’s face.

"Yun Jie, I’m being serious!"

Lin Fei laughed.

"Stop talking nonsense, get to work. After we dig up the potatoes, we’ll go back and make breakfast. After breakfast, I can spend a little time with you..."

Towards the end, Qin Yun’s cheeks turned even redder.

"Cough, cough, alright..."

Lin Fei nodded.

Then Lin Fei energetically resumed digging potatoes with his hoe.

Lin Fei had strong arms and was quick to dig, soon uncovering a large area.

Qin Yun simply put down her hoe and began to pick potatoes, removing the excess roots and dirt before dropping them into the back basket.

While resting, Lin Fei caught sight of Qin Yun bent over and picking potatoes with her back to him.

Soon, Lin Fei had dug up a large patch of potatoes.

Qin Yun instructed.

"You got it!"

Lin Fei dropped the hoe and went to Qin Yun’s side, helping her collect the potatoes.

As they picked potatoes, Qin Yun complimented Lin Fei.

"Yun, of course, I’m good at digging; if you’re willing, I can also loosen the soil for you!"

Lin Fei said to Qin Yun, looking at her with a level gaze.

Qin Yun glared at Lin Fei, visibly annoyed.

Lin Fei continued.

"Don’t spout nonsense!"

Qin Yun turned her head away with a red face and a thumping heart.

The two continued to collect potatoes.

With their baskets filled to the brim, they picked and tossed the potatoes into the baskets until all the potatoes were gathered, filling the baskets completely.

"Fei, let’s not dig any more; let’s go home!"

Qin Yun said to Lin Fei.

"Sure thing!"

Lin Fei nodded his head.

"Help me lift the basket, will you?"

Qin Yun instructed.

Lin Fei immediately picked up the basket so Qin Yun could put it on her back.

Then, Lin Fei, carrying two baskets of potatoes and holding the hoe, walked home down the mountain with Qin Yun.
