In the evening, Qin Yun made half a table full of delicious dishes.

Cooked crabs, all deep-fried, crispy and tasty, were especially good with alcohol.

Qin Yun also made sour fish soup with several fish.

Plus, she cooked a few rustic dishes.

After dining together and cleaning up the dishes, Lin Fei was eagerly anticipating what would happen that night.

Li Cuixing had arranged with him that he wouldn’t shut his door when he went to sleep tonight, waiting for her to come to him.

But, since Qin Yun hadn’t gone to bed yet, Lin Fei couldn’t just leave carelessly, nor could he pretend to go to bed and sleep now—that would definitely arouse Qin Yun’s suspicion.

"Fei, help me heat up a pot of water!"

Qin Yun instructed Lin Fei.

"Yun Jie, what are you going to do?"

Lin Fei asked.

"I’m going to take a bath!"

Qin Yun said.

"Oh!"

Lin Fei nodded in acknowledgment.

Since they were living in an old house, without the bathing facilities found in the city, Qin Yun always heated a big pot of water for her baths, then poured the hot water into a large wooden barrel big enough for a person to soak in.

Lin Fei’s bathing was simpler—it was heated water showers in the winter, while in the summer, he’d either bathe in the river or rinse with cold water in the backyard.

Lin Fei immediately went to heat the water for Qin Yun.

Even though Lin Fei was itching inside, desperate to have a go with Li Cuixing, he couldn’t mess around while Qin Yun was still awake; he had to wait until she had bathed and gone to sleep before he could have an in-depth exchange with Li Cuixing.

"Yun Jie, the hot water is ready!"

Lin Fei said.

"Alright, help me with it, pour the hot water into the barrel. I’m going to feed the pigs first, and after I’m done, I’ll come for the bath!"

Qin Yun instructed Lin Fei.

"Mm, alright!"

Lin Fei nodded, immediately set to work, washing the large barrel first, then filled it with hot water, all ready for Qin Yun’s bath.

After feeding the pigs, Qin Yun brought her light pajamas, her intimate floral panties, and a dry towel, and got ready for her bath.

Testing the water with her hand, she found its temperature just right, and then with a pout to Lin Fei, she said, "Fei, step out for a bit, I’m going to soak!"

"Yun Jie, let me watch over you while you bathe!"

Lin Fei said to Qin Yun with a smile.

"No way, you wretch, thinking you can pull something on me? I know what you’re up to. Hurry up, out!"

Qin Yun pouted, her cheeks flushing.

"Sigh..."

Feeling rather helpless, Lin Fei could only leave. He sat on a bamboo chair in the living room, waiting for Qin Yun to finish her bath.

He absolutely didn’t dare to have a private meeting with Li Cuixing while Qin Yun was still awake.

"Splash!"

Lin Fei heard the sound of water splashing; Qin Yun must be in the barrel, stirring up the water.

In Lin Fei’s mind, an exceedingly appealing image sprang up: Qin Yun soaking in the steamy wooden barrel, water rippling around her, her snow-white and tender body accentuated by the steam.

Lin Fei even imagined Qin Yun’s hands cradling her breasts, creating a captivating scene with each shake.

The more he thought about it, the more Lin Fei felt an unbearable heat rising within him.

Suddenly, Lin Fei heard Qin Yun scream.

"Yun sister, what’s wrong with you?"

Lin Fei immediately snapped back from his daydreaming to reality. He jumped to his feet and rushed into the kitchen.

Qin Yun was just soaking in a large wooden tub, facing Lin Fei. Seeing him come in, she became terribly shy, quickly crossing her arms to cover the tumultuously rolling curves of her chest.

"Yun sister, what’s wrong? You gave me quite a scare?"

Lin Fei, now unconcerned with admiring Qin Yun’s graceful figure, asked with great concern.

"Fei, I... I... I just saw a big rat, a really big one, at least as long as chopsticks, it scared me to death..."

Qin Yun was somewhat still in shock.

"What? A big rat? Where is it?"

Lin Fei immediately asked.

Qin Yun extended her right hand, pointing to the front of the stove and said, "Right there, at the place where the firewood is piled up!"

As Qin Yun reached out, the scenery at her chest was inadvertently exposed, and Lin Fei couldn’t help but take a few extra glances.

"What are you looking at?"

Sensing something amiss, Qin Yun’s cheeks flushed red. She quickly withdrew her hand, once again covering her chest.

"Cough cough!"

Lin Fei chuckled softly and immediately walked toward the firewood area by the stove.

A grey rat abruptly darted out from the woodpile.

"Ah..."

Upon seeing the big rat again, Qin Yun screamed in fright.

The rat fled swiftly.

"Yun sister, you’ve scared the rat away!"

Lin Fei walked up to a position not far from the tub, looking down at Qin Yun and giggled.

Qin Yun’s hands remained crossed over her chest, covering the two key peaks.

Nevertheless, Qin Yun’s peaks were simply too large; despite her intentional covering, she couldn’t completely hide them. A portion was always exposed to Lin Fei’s gaze.

Especially since her hands were crossed over her chest, although they did cover a part, this action ended up squeezing her chest, causing two white crescents at the top and a deep cleavage to be pressed out, all of which Lin Fei saw clearly, stirring excitement in his heart.

"Don’t look, get out now!"

Qin Yun glared at Lin Fei.

Lin Fei grinned at Qin Yun.

"Help me? What can you possibly help me with? Don’t mess around!"

Not knowing what Lin Fei intended to do, Qin Yun instinctively became somewhat nervous, and of course, also a bit bashful.

She was well aware that Lin Fei would never harm her; her safety was definitely not an issue. But to be seen so closely by Lin Fei while she was completely naked in the tub was indeed very embarrassing.
