When Lin Fei took out his cell phone, he saw that Qin Yun was calling.

Lin Fei’s heart tightened, an inexplicable nervousness spreading through him.

In broad daylight like this, Qin Yun definitely wouldn’t call him unless it was something important.

Could it be that Sister Yun had run into some trouble, or perhaps some village loafer had bullied her?

Qin Yun instructed Lin Fei.

"Alright, I’ll go buy it right now, and come back once I’ve bought it!"

Lin Fei agreed readily.

After saying goodbye to Sister Yun, Lin Fei slipped his phone into his pocket and then rode his motorcycle toward the backstreets of the county town.

Lin Fei had spent a few years studying in the technical school in the county town, and was fairly familiar with it; he knew that the backstreets had many shops selling farming tools and seeds.

Upon reaching the backstreets, Lin Fei compared several farm tool shops and finally spent eight hundred yuan on a second-hand water pump that was 70% new. A brand-new model would cost around twelve hundred yuan, so eight hundred for one that’s 80% new was not a rip-off.

Lin Fei had made some money by now, earning tens of thousands just from selling medicinal herbs, but no matter how much he earned, it was still necessary to save where he could.

After buying the water pump and strapping it to the back of his motorcycle, Lin Fei saw a nearby shop selling fish fry and went to buy some.

They had kept some fish in the family pond, eaten some, and sold some; it was now time to restock with new fry.

Beyond fish fry, Lin Fei also bought some turtle fry, planning to raise them in the pond.

After purchasing both the fish and turtle fry, Lin Fei rode his motorcycle away from the back alleys of the county town, rushing back toward the village.

About an hour later, Lin Fei arrived at home.

At that time, the sun was blazing, Qin Yun was at home, and Li Xiaoyan was also there, helping Qin Yun peel garlic.

"Oh, Fei is back, huh?"

Hearing the noise, Qin Yun and Li Xiaoyan both stood up and walked out of the main room.

Seeing Lin Fei get off the motorcycle, Qin Yun and Li Xiaoyan’s eyes lit up, and they immediately walked to the side of the motorcycle, carefully inspecting it and even touching it.

"Wow, Fei, a new bike, did you just buy this?"

"Around ten thousand!"

"That expensive!"

Qin Yun and Li Xiaoyan both widened their eyes and mouths in astonishment.

Lin Fei laughed and said, "Yun, Xiao Yan, this motorcycle is really good. Ten thousand yuan isn’t expensive. Now that I have this bike, it’s much easier to go to town. If you guys need to go to town, I can ride it to take you. I don’t have a driver’s license yet, but once I earn some more money and get my license, I’ll buy a car. Then, it’ll be even more convenient for us to go places—I can drive us on long trips!"

"Taking us on long trips, huh? That sounds great, I’m really looking forward to it!" Qin Yun said with excitement, gazing intently at Lin Fei.

"Fei, when you say you want to take me and Yun on a long trip, you’re actually just planning to hit on us, aren’t you? Think about hitting on both of us together? Boy, you really think big!" Li Xiaoyan pointed out bluntly.

"Ahem..."

Lin Fei was quite embarrassed.

By Li Xiaoyan’s assertion, wasn’t he just a lecher?

"Hahaha, Fei, no big deal. If you want to hit on me and Yun, I don’t mind. It’s up to Yun whether she agrees or not!" Li Xiaoyan winked at Lin Fei, chuckling.

"You flirt, if you want to be provocative, go do it by yourself; don’t drag me into it..."

Qin Yun’s cheeks turned crimson with embarrassment, and she glared at Li Xiaoyan annoyedly.

"Oh, come on, Qin Yun, I’m serious. Once Fei gets his license and buys a car, when he drives us for a trip, we could enjoy the scenery during the day and play together at night. We could take turns taking care of Fei together. Isn’t that exciting? I think just thinking about it is thrilling. You can go first with Fei!"

Li Xiaoyan laid out her plans openly, truly embracing the idea.

Hearing Li Xiaoyan say that, Lin Fei was quite tempted internally.

If in the future he really could drive a car, taking Yun and Xiao Yan on a nationwide tour, playing by day and sleeping together at night, wouldn’t that be awesome?

"You little flirt, stop talking nonsense and don’t be so provocative!"

Overwhelmed with embarrassment, Qin Yun quickly grabbed and tugged at Li Xiaoyan a few times.

Lin Fei could only watch helplessly as Qin Yun and Li Xiaoyan playfully quarreled.

"Yun, Xiao Yan, I’ve bought a pump, which we can use anytime to irrigate, and I also bought some fish and turtle fry, which I’ll put into the pond first..."

Lin Fei took the water pump off the motorcycle and placed it at the front door of the house.

Then, Lin Fei carried the fish and turtle fry down to the pond under the blazing sun and released them into the water, before throwing in some grass for them.

After completing these tasks, Lin Fei headed home.

Smoke curled up from the kitchen, where cooking was underway; it must have been Yun and Xiao Yan preparing lunch.

Lin Fei immediately entered the kitchen and saw only Li Xiaoyan stirring the pot, with Qin Yun nowhere in sight.

"Xiao Yan, where’s Yun?" Lin Fei asked.

"Oh, I’m right in front of you, and you’re still only concerned about Yun?" Li Xiaoyan teased Lin Fei playfully.

"Xiao Yan, don’t think too much. I care about you too. I was just wondering where Yun had gone!" Lin Fei chuckled.

"Your Yun went out to pick vegetables. I’m cooking, and we’ll eat once she’s back with the vegetables," Li Xiaoyan explained.

"Oh!"

Lin Fei quickly took several steps forward, closing in on Li Xiaoyan, and pressed his chest against her back.

In an instant, Lin Fei felt a sudden rise downstairs, pushing against Li Xiaoyan’s perky buttocks.

"What are you doing? Yun will be back soon. Don’t be so bold!"

Li Xiaoyan’s body twisted slightly as she coyly chided Lin Fei.
