160: Chapter 160: Heavily Surrounding with Troops 160: Chapter 160: Heavily Surrounding with Troops Wei Xiaodong looked toward Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou, then walked over with several Disciples from the Great Sword Sect.

“Who are you?” Wei Xiaodong asked as he looked at Huang Xiaolong.

As he spoke, he gestured with his eyes toward the two men in black, who understood and resealed the sack.

Huang Xiaolong noticed the movements of the two men in black but did not care, and said to Wei Xiaodong, “The person who’s here to take your life!”

The person who’s here to take your life!

Wei Xiaodong was shocked at heart, then laughed, “Are you joking, sir?

We are Disciples of the Great Sword Sect.”

“Do I look like I’m joking with you?” Huang Xiaolong shrugged his shoulders, “The ones I want to kill are your Great Sword Sect Disciples.”

Just as Huang Xiaolong had said this, Wei Xiaodong suddenly flung his hands toward Huang Xiaolong, and numerous Cold Darts broke through the air toward Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou.

Under the moonlight, these darts glinted with a ghastly green light, clearly coated with deadly poison.

Seeing this, Huang Xiaolong snorted coldly, smirked, and together with Fei Hou, raised a palm.

Their palm wind ripped through the air, knocking down the countless Cold Darts.

Seeing this, Wei Xiaodong’s face changed, and without regard for the other Disciples of the Great Sword Sect, he turned and fled.

Seeing this, Huang Xiaolong’s form flashed, and in an instant, he blocked Wei Xiaodong’s path.

Panicked, Wei Xiaodong threw a punch at Huang Xiaolong, who caught his fist and then squeezed.

A sound of bones shattering rang out, and Wei Xiaodong screamed in agony.

With Huang Xiaolong’s current strength, a squeeze from him could turn even a thousand-year-old tree into dust, let alone Wei Xiaodong.

After crushing the bones in Wei Xiaodong’s fist, Huang Xiaolong threw him back.

The other Great Sword Sect Disciples’ screams rose and fell, and in the blink of an eye, Fei Hou had dealt with them all, including the two in black.

The smell of blood pervaded all around, pungently assaulting the nostrils.

Smelling the blood of the Great Sword Sect Disciples all around, Wei Xiaodong’s face turned pale with fright, his complexion ashen.

He scooted backward on the ground, “You please, don’t kill me, I beg you, don’t kill me.

I can give you anything!”

“Anything for me?” Huang Xiaolong sneered, “What do you have that you could give me?”

Wei Xiaodong was taken aback.

“Please let me go, anything you ask of me, I’ll do,” he then pleaded, knocking his head repeatedly.

Huang Xiaolong said coldly, “You are much more of a coward than your father, Wei Yang.”

“My father?” Wei Xiaolong was stunned.

“Let me tell you the truth, I killed your father, Wei Yang,” Huang Xiaolong stated indifferently.

“It was you!” Wei Xiaolong’s eyes widened.

“I am your father’s killer, so, don’t you want to avenge your father?” Huang Xiaolong looked at him.

Wei Xiaolong’s expression changed dramatically, then with a smile, he said, “Brother, you must be joking with me.”

Huang Xiaolong shook his head and summoned the Shura Blade, waved his hands without another word, and two flashes of cold light swept across Wei Xiaolong’s neck and forehead.

Wei Xiaolong’s eyes bulged as he toppled over, blood pooling on the ground.

“Sect Leader, what about the girl?” Fei Hou asked, indicating the girl inside the sack, the daughter of Wei Qing, City Lord of Southern Cliff City.

“Let’s take her back first,” Huang Xiaolong pondered aloud.

“Yes, Sect Leader!”

Shortly after, Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou, taking Wei Qing’s daughter with them, vanished in a blink.

Before long, the two, along with Wei Qing’s daughter, returned to their room in the grand tavern.

Zhao Shu and Yu Ming, seeing the two returning with a young girl, asked Fei Hou about the situation.

Fei Hou respectfully recounted the events to both Zhao Shu and Yu Ming.

At that moment, Wei Qing’s younger daughter gradually awoke and opened her eyes.

Seeing Huang Xiaolong and his three companions in the room, she hastily sat up from the bed, her pretty face filled with fear, “Who are you?

What do you want?!”

Huang Xiaolong looked at Fei Hou, who understood and stepped forward to briefly explain the situation to Wei Qing’s daughter.

After listening to Fei Hou, Wei Lin’s complexion improved slightly, but she still looked at Huang Xiaolong’s group with suspicious eyes, clearly not fully trusting what Fei Hou had said.

“You can go back now,” Huang Xiaolong said.

He didn’t care whether she believed them or not.

Saving her had been merely a whim and a coincidence.

“I can go back now?” Wei Lin looked doubtful, then slowly walked out of the room, glancing back nervously at Huang Xiaolong’s group every few steps.

After she left the room and exited the tavern, she only relaxed when she saw nothing unusual.

Upon leaving the tavern, she hurried back to the City Lord Mansion like a fleeing bird.

By then, the City Lord Mansion had already discovered Wei Lin’s disappearance and was in chaos.

“Lin’er, what happened?” Wei Qing, seeing his daughter return, relaxed and quickly asked.

Wei Lin burst into tears and then repeated what Fei Hou had said.

“Great Sword Sect!” Upon hearing this, Wei Qing’s eyes flashed angrily, “This is outrageous!”

“City Lord, those four people, I think there’s also something suspicious about them,” the butler Liu Wen stepped forward and said, “According to what they said, if they had already noticed those two men in black kidnapping the young lady from the City Lord Mansion, why didn’t they stop it right then?

Why wait until they had taken the young lady to an abandoned courtyard before rescuing her?”

Wei Qing frowned.

“Everything we know comes from those four people.

We don’t actually know what truly happened,” continued Butler Liu Wen.

“It could be that there were never any people from the Great Sword Sect involved.

Perhaps it was those four who kidnapped the young lady themselves and pinned the deed on the Great Sword Sect, only to later return her intentionally!”

Wei Qing’s eyes flickered, and he turned to the guards behind him, saying, “You ten, go north of the city and look for bodies of any Great Sword Sect disciples.

The rest of you, come with me to the Fragrant Delight Grand Tavern!”

“If the matter turns out to be true, then so be it!”

“If those four really did frame the Great Sword Sect,” Wei Qing said, his eyes flashing with a cold light.

A short while later, the City Lord Mansion guards had heavily surrounded the Fragrant Delight Grand Tavern.

The local residents were awakened.

Inside the tavern room, Fei Hou said to Huang Xiaolong, “Sect Leader guessed correctly, that Wei Qing does not believe we saved his daughter.”

Huang Xiaolong nodded.

It was normal for Wei Qing not to believe.

Anyone else would react the same.

“Sect Leader, do you need your subordinate to intervene?” Yu Ming stepped forward and asked.

Huang Xiaolong waved his hand, “No need.”

Just then, the room’s door was suddenly broken open, and the City Lord Mansion guards swarmed in, followed by Wei Qing, dressed in his City Lord’s brocade robe.

Upon entering, Wei Qing’s face was initially stern, but then he froze, staring blankly at Huang Xiaolong.

Two years ago, Wei Qing had accompanied a general to the Luotong Royal City Marshal Mansion to report military information to Marshal Haotian.

Back then, he did not even have the qualifications to enter the Marshal Mansion, standing outside the main gate and had seen Huang Xiaolong from a distance.

Marshal Haotian had been extremely respectful to this young man.

Later, he learned that this young man was Huang Xiaolong.

“Huang, Huang, Young Master Huang!” Wei Qing snapped back to reality, his face pale, his legs weak, “Was it, was it Young Master Huang who saved my daughter?”

He had actually brought troops to heavily surround Huang Xiaolong?

What would happen if the Marshal found out?

He had heard that even the King was now on familiar terms with Huang Peng, Young Master Huang’s father!(To be continued.
