Invincible Over the World
Chapter 102 - 102 102 Outer Kingdom

102: Chapter 102: Outer Kingdom 102: Chapter 102: Outer Kingdom Finally broke through to the Ninth Rank!

As daylight began to break, Huang Xiaolong stopped his cultivation, feeling a surge of joy in his heart.

In the Luotong Kingdom, a Ninth Rank was a powerhouse in any family or any county town.

In the past in Huang Family Manor, aside from Huang Qide, only the chief steward, Chen Ying, was a Ninth Rank powerhouse.

Those elders in the Huang Family Manor were merely Eighth Stage, and some were even at the Seventh-stage Late Stage Peak.

Huang Xiaolong stepped out of the Exquisite Treasure Tower.

As soon as he left the Exquisite Treasure Tower, he ran into Fei Hou.

Fei Hou looked at Huang Xiaolong with some surprise, “Sect Leader, could it be that you’ve…?!” He had broken through to the Innate, and since Huang Xiaolong didn’t conceal his aura, Fei Hou immediately noticed the change in him.

Huang Xiaolong nodded and said with a smile, “Last night, I was fortunate enough to make another breakthrough.”

Fei Hou was somewhat dazed.

Lucky again!

It seemed that every so often, he would come across the Sect Leader making a fortuitous breakthrough!

But this “luck” was happening too often and too frequently.

A while later, Fei Hou suppressed the shock in his heart, his expression hesitant.

“Fei Hou, what is it?

Just say it,” Huang Xiaolong said when he noticed Fei Hou’s demeanor.

“Sect Leader, I am thinking of going home for a visit,” Fei Hou spoke up.

“Going home?” Huang Xiaolong was stunned and stayed silent, not reacting immediately.

Fei Hou had been following Huang Xiaolong for seven years, but he had never mentioned his family.

So, when Fei Hou mentioned it, Huang Xiaolong was caught off guard.

“Yes, Sect Leader.

My son sent a message just now, saying that my eldest grandson is getting married in three months.

I haven’t returned for seven years, so I’d like to go back and see them,” Fei Hou said somewhat embarrassed.

Huang Xiaolong snapped back to attention and laughed, “Fei Hou, that’s great news, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.” He then asked, “So, where is your family from?”

“My lord, I am a Marquis from the Outer Kingdom,” Fei Hou respectfully answered.

The Outer Kingdom?

Huang Xiaolong was taken aback.

Although Huang Xiaolong had guessed that Fei Hou might not be from the Luotong Kingdom, he didn’t expect him to be a Marquis from the Outer Kingdom.

Luotong Kingdom was located at the southernmost tip of Silver Moon Forest, while the Outer Kingdom was at the northernmost tip.

Over the years, Huang Xiaolong had reviewed the academy’s books and knew that the Outer Kingdom was one of the dozen or so strongest kingdoms among the more than a thousand kingdoms under the Broken Blade Empire, much stronger than the Luotong Kingdom.

“When will you leave?” Huang Xiaolong asked.

“I was thinking of leaving in two days,” Fei Hou replied.

“How about this, I’ll accompany you to the Outer Kingdom,” Huang Xiaolong said thoughtfully.

Fei Hou was astonished, “Sect Leader, you want to go to the Outer Kingdom with me?”

Huang Xiaolong waved his hand dismissively and laughed, “Since it’s your eldest grandson’s wedding, I should prepare a wedding gift.

Besides, I want to go out and see the world.

What, you’re not welcoming?”

Since his arrival in this world, Huang Xiaolong had stayed either in the Luotong Royal City or practiced in the Silver Moon Forest, so he indeed wanted to take this opportunity to go abroad.

Fei Hou quickly said with a smile, “If the Sect Leader accompanies me, I would be delighted beyond measure.”

Huang Xiaolong said, “Then go prepare and arrange the matters; we will leave the day after tomorrow.”

“Yes, thank you, Sect Leader!” Fei Hou replied respectfully and turned to leave.

After Fei Hou left, Huang Xiaolong went to the hall where his father, Huang Peng, and his mother, Su Yan, were.

Thereupon, Huang Xiaolong told his parents about his plans to go with Fei Hou to the Outer Kingdom the day after tomorrow.

Huang Peng and Su Yan, upon hearing this, were somewhat surprised but did not object.

Over the past few years, Huang Xiaolong had hardly stayed at the Heavenly Mystical Mansion, spending most of his time cultivating in the Silver Moon Forest.

“Will you come back by the end of next year?” Huang Peng asked.

“I’m not sure yet, if there’s nothing important, I should be back within six months,” Huang Xiaolong said.

After that, Huang Xiaolong gave his parents dozens of Flame Dragon Pearls, and discussed with them the management of the Nine Tripods Chamber of Commerce.

Previously, Fei Hou had been in charge of the Chamber of Commerce, but with Fei Hou’s departure, this responsibility was handed over to his parents.

Although Fei Hou had been managing the Chamber, his parents had also been involved in its operations and were familiar with it.

With Marshal Haotian present, they shouldn’t encounter any major issues.

Two days passed.

Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou, seen off by the crowd, left the Luotong Royal City.

As he had done before every departure from the Heavenly Mystical Mansion, before leaving, Huang Xiaolong made it a point to instruct Marshal Haotian to ensure the safety of his parents, sister, and younger brother.

After leaving the Luotong Royal City, Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou arrived at the Silver Moon Forest.

Crossing the forest would take them directly to the border of the Outer Kingdom.

This was the quickest route, and while traveling, they could hunt demon beasts and practice their cultivation at the same time.

More than two months passed.

The night was tranquil.

Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou sat beside a campfire, its light illuminating the surroundings brightly.

In more than two months, the two had reached the northernmost part of the Silver Moon Forest, and by tomorrow they should be able to pass through the forest and reach the border of the Outer Kingdom.

Sitting by the campfire, although Fei Hou had advanced to the Innate level, the thought of being able to return to the Fei Residence in ten days still unsettled him.

Having been parted for seven years, he wondered what the Fei Residence would look like now upon his return.

Huang Xiaolong observed Fei Hou’s expression and understood his feelings.

It was similar to his own emotions when he first left Huang Family Manor, and later, when he rushed back from the Luotong Royal City at the end of the year.

“In ten more days, we should be able to reach the Outer Kingdom City,” Huang Xiaolong said.

“Yes, Sect Leader,” Fei Hou said.

“When I left, my grandson Fei Ming was only seventeen years old.

In the blink of an eye, seven years have passed, and the boy must be thinking of starting his own family!”

Fei Ming was Fei Hou’s eldest grandson.

In a letter from his son Fei Rong, it was mentioned that his eldest grandson Fei Ming had recently broken through to the Seventh Rank.

Fei Hou felt comforted; when he left, the boy had been at the Fifth-stage Late Stage.

The darkness of the night slowly faded.

At dawn, Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou continued on their journey.

After a day’s travel, they left the Silver Moon Forest and reached the border of the Outer Kingdom.

However, even with Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou’s speed, it would still take another eight or nine days to travel from the border of the Outer Kingdom to the Fei Residence in the Outer Kingdom City.

Once inside the Outer Kingdom, Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou did not linger in the cities they passed through, only stopping for the night in some of them when necessary.

Six days went by.

The two were now nearing the Outer Kingdom City, just three more cities to go.

Just as Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou were traveling on the main road, two carriages passed by them.

Suddenly, from inside one of the carriages, an excited voice exclaimed, “Is that Senior Fei Hou?!”

Taken aback, Huang Xiaolong and Fei Hou turned to look, just in time to see one of the carriages stop and a beautiful woman in her twenties emerge from it.

The beautiful woman approached Fei Hou, her eyes brimming with excitement, yet somewhat in disbelief, she asked, “Are you Senior Fei Hou?”

Fei Hou looked at the woman before him with a puzzled face, nodded and asked, “I am Fei Hou, but who are you?” He genuinely could not recall who the woman was.
