Chapter 186: Chapter 186: [Extra] Who made it more delicious, me or him?

Tan Bo’s private villa was right in the city, not too far from Jiang Yurou’s apartment.

Since Jiang Yurou held the mindset of staying at Tan Bo’s place for a few days and then returning, she simply brought a few articles of clothing with her.

Tan Bo had always been someone who knew how to enjoy life; naturally, his abode wouldn’t disappoint. In his home, one could not only witness the most beautiful scenery but also experience the most pure lifestyle.

Jiang Yurou had previously teased Tan Bo about this, saying he lived like a retiree despite his young age.

But one had to admit that it was indeed a place suited for living. She would treat this month as a vacation for herself; Tan Bo’s villa would be her resort...

Upon reaching the villa’s entrance, Jiang Yurou didn’t knock but entered the code and walked in.

No one was in the living room, but there were shoes by the door.

Jiang Yurou wasn’t in a hurry. She took a short rest on the sofa before leisurely taking out her phone to call Tan Bo.

"I’m here, where are you?"

Tan Bo, on the other end of the call, clearly already knew Jiang Yurou had arrived, so he spoke in a very relaxed tone, "Mm-hmm, I’m swimming in the backyard, come on over."

"Who swims so early in the morning!" Jiang Yurou couldn’t help but retort.

Tan Bo laughed and replied, "Me."

After hanging up, Jiang Yurou walked towards the backyard and, as expected, saw Tan Bo leaning by the pool.

His upper body was bare, exposing bronzed skin and a well-defined six-pack; water dripped from his wet hair onto his face, giving him an abstinent beauty.

Jiang Yurou paused for a moment, then stepped forward, pouting slightly, "You knew I was coming. Couldn’t you have at least met me in the living room?"

Tan Bo looked at her somewhat amusedly, "Jiang Yurou... I guess I’m kind of your creditor now, right? Have you ever seen a creditor greeting a debtor?"

Jiang Yurou huffed, "So what?"

"I really can’t do much to you..." Who told me to like you?

"What?" Jiang Yurou hadn’t heard clearly.

Tan Bo let out a sigh, "Nothing."

"Oh." Jiang Yurou didn’t dwell on it and reached out for a grape from the fruit plate, popping it into her mouth. While chewing, she looked at Tan Bo, "By the way, which room will I stay in?"

Tan Bo grabbed a nearby towel and draped it over himself, then stood up and walked out of the water as he replied, "Follow me."

Jiang Yurou followed without hesitation.

But when they reached the door to the room, Jiang Yurou stopped in her tracks, looking at Tan Bo with surprise, "Tan Bo, you’re too kind! You’re actually willing to let me stay in your master bedroom."

Tan Bo didn’t respond but motioned for her to come in with a hook of his finger, saying, "Come in, and shut the door behind you."

Jiang Yurou closed the door, walked straight in, and then threw herself onto Tan Bo’s bed. She breathed in deeply, unable to resist saying, "This bed is so comfortable. If I sleep here, I could have eight hundred dreams in one night."

Tan Bo threw the towel onto the bedside cabinet and looked down at Jiang Yurou, "Besides dreaming, you could also do other stuff on this bed."

Hearing Tan Bo’s words, Jiang Yurou’s eyes lit up immediately, "That’s possible, Tan Bo. You’ve learned to give your sister advice?"

Saying that, Jiang Yurou began to imagine herself lying in this bed, eating snacks and watching TV. This was truly a heavenly life!

Watching Jiang Yurou’s gaze slowly turn awry, Tan Bo immediately guessed what she was thinking at the moment, so he reached out and flicked her forehead, "Put those thoughts away, no eating on my bed!"

Jiang Yurou pouted in dissatisfaction, "Didn’t you say I could do something else? Besides, I won’t dirty your bed."

Tan Bo grimaced, "That ’something else’ wasn’t what I meant."

"Oh, alright then."

Tan Bo let out a light sigh, picked up his clothes, and went into the bathroom. When he came out, Jiang Yurou had already gotten up from the bed and was looking around the room.

"What are you looking at?" he asked.

Jiang Yurou shook her head slightly, "Nothing much, I was just wondering, if I’ve taken your room, where will you sleep?"

"Well..." Tan Bo curled his lips into a smile and slowly walked toward Jiang Yurou, "Where do you think I can sleep?"

For some reason, seeing Tan Bo’s passionate gaze, Jiang Yurou felt a momentary hesitation to look him in the eyes, so she instinctively averted her gaze and said unnaturally, "This is your house, how would I know?"

"Rourou," Tan Bo suddenly took hold of her arm, his eyes becoming fervent and tender, "Actually, I..."

But before he could finish, Jiang Yurou pulled her hand away. Her expression turned somewhat flustered, "Tan Bo, I... I’m getting a bit hungry. I haven’t had breakfast since I arrived. Let’s go downstairs."

After saying that, she didn’t wait for any reaction from Tan Bo and turned to leave.

Tan Bo looked down at his hand hanging in mid-air, then let out a bitter smile and followed her downstairs.

Downstairs, the two deliberately didn’t mention the incident, as if nothing had happened. It wasn’t long before they reverted to their usual manner of interacting.

Tan Bo walked into the kitchen, an apron in his hands that didn’t quite suit his demeanor, and turned to ask Jiang Yurou, "What would you like to eat?"

Jiang Yurou suddenly remembered the pig trotter noodles Zhou Ming had made for her once, so she blurted out on impulse, "How about pig trotter noodles?"

Tan Bo raised an eyebrow but said nothing and began to cook the noodles for her.

Before long, a steaming bowl of pig trotter noodles was served at the dining table. Jiang Yurou glanced at the noodles and found they actually resembled the real deal.

"Don’t just look, eat up," Tan Bo offered the chopsticks to Jiang Yurou.

Jiang Yurou turned to him with a smile, then picked up the chopsticks to eat. Her lips curved into a light dimple, which was rather endearing to look at.

"Not bad, Tan Bo. Your skills are really improving. These pig trotter noodles are just as delicious as Zhou Ming’s," Jiang Yurou said, eyes smiley.

Tan Bo, who was about to start eating, paused when he heard the name "Zhou Ming". He looked at Jiang Yurou, his brows furrowed, "Don’t mention that guy in front of me from now on."

"Huh? Why?" Jiang Yurou was puzzled.

"I don’t like it."

Jiang Yurou lowered her head, silently stirring her noodles, "Okay, I won’t mention him..."

But after a while, Tan Bo’s voice suddenly came again, "Who makes it tastier, him or me?"

I thought we weren’t going to mention him? Jiang Yurou thought to herself but still answered, "Both are delicious."

"You have to pick one."

Faced with Tan Bo’s non-negotiable expression, Jiang Yurou had no choice but to say helplessly, "Yours, yours is tastier."

Hearing Jiang Yurou’s answer, Tan Bo finally showed a satisfied smile. He then transferred all the pig trotters from his bowl into hers, "Then have a little more."
