"You lured me to a seafood buffet with such a trivial message?" Bai Xiaosheng felt it was a bit much.

When he heard Feng Li had a message for him, he thought it was some significant news. But this was it?

DID he really need Huo Qianxun to tell him, when he was naturally going to receive the message later?

"Doing this is really unethical, you know," Bai Xiaosheng said with a mix of laughter and frustration.

Huo Qianxun chuckled, "Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore. There’s another part to it."

Only then did Bai Xiaosheng breathe a sigh of relief, his gaze tender yet reproachful towards her. If it turned out to be nonsense again, he would definitely have to deal with this girl.

A young woman with a great figure, an oval face, and a pointed chin was sizing them up and down, her lips curving into a smirk that didn’t quite reach her eyes.

Thankfully, you made it possible for me to leave Zhongjing University. An old university teacher doesn’t make much in a month. The clothes you’re wearing don’t even match the value of my high-heeled shoes. What, did you save up for a long time just to afford a meal here?"
