Chapter 609: Chapter 609 Shut Up, Get Out!_1

What is Mu Changlin doing back here?!

Ron’s face immediately turned a shade uglier.

They had already signed the lease termination agreement! What more could there be!

Today, Bai Xiaosheng had come. Ron didn’t want Bai Xiaosheng to know about this or to give him any extra trouble. For this reason, Ron even cautioned Miranda not to let it slip.

But he never expected Mu Changlin to return.

Following him, in addition to those two subordinates, were four or five other people, making for a larger entourage than before.

Among those unfamiliar faces, the one leading was a man with meticulously groomed hair, a crisp suit, an arrogant demeanor, and features that seemed to have a Japanese or Korean air to them, especially with his conspicuous presence.

Miranda frowned, exchanging a covert glance with Ron.

Ron quickly regained his composure.

"Mr. Mu, you’ve arrived, please wait a moment!" Ron swiftly gave orders, "Everyone else return to your workstations, Miranda, you take our... take Mr. Bai to my office, I’ll be there once I’ve dealt with this."

Organized and unflustered by the abrupt situation.

In this moment, Ron demonstrated an unrivaled capacity for quick thinking, even earning a mental thumbs-up from Miranda.

The Ron Team was known for their unity and high efficiency. Apart from their familial warmth and informality off the clock, another aspect was their unequivocal obedience during work hours.

Upon receiving Ron’s command, the team disbanded without a word of complaint or a moment of hesitation.

Miranda then flashed a smile at Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei, leading them away.

Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but glance at her and Ron again; the subtle tension and anxiety between them were imperceptible to most, but not to Bai Xiaosheng’s eyes.

After all, these emotions often led to the clearest micro-expressions.

Moreover, Bai Xiaosheng’s observational skills had long since reached a profound level of expertise.

However, Bai Xiaosheng didn’t say a word, didn’t ask a single question.

If he had entrusted this matter to Ron, then he trusted Ron completely.

If Ron had anything to hide, Bai Xiaosheng didn’t feel it would be to his own detriment.

Lin Weiwei, however, looked doubtfully at Mu Changlin, recalling the man she had encountered downstairs.

Of course, she kept quiet as well.

As Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei followed Miranda away, Ron exhaled a sigh of relief.

Before he could invite Mu Changlin and his entourage to the reception room,

the man behind Mu Changlin spoke up first.

"Mr. Mu, our time is precious. Are you going to make me stand here the whole time?"

His voice conveyed dissatisfaction.

Mu Changlin’s face subtly shifted as he quickly replied with a smile, "How could that be, Mr. Jin Yonghui? I will show you the office area right now!"

Their voices weren’t soft, and although Ron didn’t understand what they were saying, he was startled and quickly looked in that direction.

Fortunately, Bai Xiaosheng and the others had already walked far away and seemed not to have overheard.

What Ron didn’t see was that, although Bai Xiaosheng had his back to them and kept walking, he slightly furrowed his brow.

At the same time as Ron heaved a sigh of relief, he glanced at the man named Jin Yonghui and pulled Mu Changlin aside. Seeing this, the German translator accompanying Mu Changlin took the initiative to join them.

Without him, the two wouldn’t be able to communicate at all.

"What exactly is going on, Mr. Mu? Why have you come back, and with so many people? Who is this person? Also, what were you talking about just now?"

Ron bombarded him with questions, which the translator relayed.

With an unapologetic smile, Mu Changlin said, "My apologies, Mr. Ron, our important client happened to come by. Mr. Jin Yonghui is his assistant. They mentioned wanting to see the office environment here, to decide about a renovation. So, I brought them over first."

The translator conveyed the message.

"How can you do this right now?" Ron was extremely dissatisfied, lowering his voice, "I have important guests here, and by doing this, you’re making it really hard for me!"

"But what can I do? This is what the customer demands," Mu Changlin said, spreading his hands after hearing the translator, "I know you are in a tough position, but not coming would put me in an even tougher spot. You are just tenants whose lease is almost up, but they are a major customer for us!"

Mu Changlin’s tone became more forceful.

After saying this, he added one more thing, "Which do you think is more important, Mr. Ron, a tenant that is about to leave or a major customer that wants to buy half a floor? Please understand your standing!"

Ron’s face turned green as the original words were translated, but he had nothing to say in response.

"Mr. Mu, I hope you understand that this is really going too far!" Ron expressed his discontent seriously.

On the other side.

"Are you done talking yet? Mr. Mu, are we going to see it or not? Our time is very precious!" Jin Yonghui raised his voice impatiently.

As a customer, he fully showcased his belief in his own superiority.

"We’re done, we’re done! Mr. Jin, please don’t be anxious," Mu Changlin said, putting on a smile and ignoring Ron as he strode forward, "We will look right now!"

Ron was completely speechless.

If it were about fencing with words at the negotiations table, he wasn’t afraid of anyone.

However, this wasn’t a business negotiation; even if it were heated, everyone would be cultured individuals, fully listening to each other’s opinions, showing respect first before engaging in conflict.

But right now, this Mr. Mu Changlin clearly didn’t even wish to listen.

Ron was very angry, but powerless.

If he were to forcefully stop them, it would not do his side any favors, and making a fuss would only cause more disturbance and potentially let Bai Xiaosheng hear.

With extreme reluctance, Ron stepped forward and cautioned them, "You can look, but please keep your discussions to a low volume, we are working in our office!"

Obviously, these words went unheard, as even Mu Changlin showed impatience with a dismissive wave of his hand.

"Alright, we got it."

The response was extremely perfunctory.

Ron let out a long sigh, summoned someone to keep an eye on them, and then turned to return to his own office.

He decided to "detain" Bai Xiaosheng in the office, and once the others were done looking around, they would naturally leave.

Upon returning to his office, Ron found Miranda laughing and chatting with Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei, and quickly made space for him when she saw him arrive.

In fact, Miranda was also a bit distracted, merely trying to find topics to discuss.

Ron picked up the conversation, talking with Bai Xiaosheng.

However, before they could talk for even ten minutes, the door to his office was pushed open.

Jin Yonghui walked in as if no one else was there, followed by a smirking Mu Changlin.

"This office has a nice orientation, but the decoration is awful. Remember to tear it down and redo it. Use a European style, it should be simple and sophisticated. Here, here, and over there need special attention to the design!" Jin Yonghui spoke arrogantly, disregarding others.

His subordinates nodded incessantly, constantly taking notes in their notebooks.

Ron’s expression was as ugly as it could be, yet it also conveyed a sense of helplessness and a hint of silent rage.

Bai Xiaosheng noticed it.

His man was being bullied!

Bai Xiaosheng’s expression was stern as he looked towards those people.

"You!" Bai Xiaosheng pointed at the man named Jin, his voice calm yet thunderous with each word,

"Shut your mouth and get out!"
