Yin Donglei handed over the gifts, and Lin Lu supervised the servants in receiving them.

Yin Donglei lowered his voice and confided to Meng Bing, "About you and my brother, our parents haven’t given their final approval yet. Don’t you see, all those gifts were bought by us brothers and sent in their names!"

After a moment of contemplation, Meng Bing finally bit the bullet, "Alright! Then I, your sister, will play matchmaker just this once! This woman is called Lin Weiwei; she’s my cousin. But give it some thought, she’s from the country, really not a good match for you!"

"If she’s not a good match, I can just play around," Yin Donglei said teasingly.
