Inside a miniature plane spanning nearly ten thousand kilometers, Qin Ming was busily assigning tasks to a whole crew of subordinates.

As the crowd dispersed and got to work, buildings began to rise one after another around them, materialized from pure energy by Fantasy Space. Seeing everything fall into place, Qin Ming couldn’t help but smile brightly.

Just as he was enjoying the sight of his domain taking shape, a voice suddenly sounded in his ear.

"Hey, bro."

"Call me boss! Show some respect!"

"Boss? We’re strategic partners, remember? What gives you the right to act like you’re in charge? How long have you even been alive?"

"Because I brought investment! I put up the seed money, and the first batch of employees are my people! I was willing to risk everything to bet on you, a broke ghost! Isn’t that enough?"

Cracking his knuckles, Qin Ming darted over to the computer.

He yanked the seated Lamp Deity—Fantasy Space’s core being—out of the chair and plopped himself down in front of the screen.

Wearing a headset, with the mic at his lips, he started clicking rapidly with the mouse.

After locking onto a remote, unremarkable small plane, he began scanning it for suitable candidates.

Although it was called "scanning," it was basically just picking a random guy that looked decent.

After selecting a target, Qin Ming clicked on the figure onscreen.

At nearly the same moment, in a mundane world devoid of supernatural powers, a young man eating instant noodles while reading a web novel on his phone suddenly paused, confused, and glanced around.

Because in his ear, a voice had just sounded—an oddly composed voice.

"Hey! Mic check! Can you hear me?"

"Huh?"

"Ahem! Do you want to know the meaning of life? Do you want to truly live?"

"What?"

"Congratulations, adventurer! You’ve been chosen by Fantasy Space! You will now enter endless worlds and begin your adventure! Do you accept?"

"No! I didn’t agree to anything!"

"Countdown in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!"

"Wait! I said no! Cancel! UNSUBSCRIBE! TD! Damn it, I haven’t even finished my noodles—!"

Before he could finish his protest, a flash of light enveloped him.

The next second, the young man—and his cup of instant noodles—vanished from the room.

Fantasy Space had launched! The mission had begun!
