"So then your... official Cosmic Carrier Token—" Before Stanley could finish his probing, a glowing blue token with the neon number ’3’ engraved onto it was thrown his way.

"There you are," said Jin, casually watching as the Void Guild Leader caught the token with concealed excitement.

"Thank you very much, Young Lord Jin!" Stanley beamed, in a far better mood than when he arrived.

When it came to Level 3 Citizens, you never could be sure about what they were thinking.

Jin Stratus could’ve easily rejected giving away something as precious as a Cosmic Carrier Token if he wanted to. And in that plausible scenario, there was nothing more that Stanley could’ve done.

Level 3 Citizens were heavily protected by the Goddess of Wisdom, after all. Not even he, a Rank 3 Evolver, could influence the decisions of a Citizen that high in status.

As for the loss of a Cosmic Carrier Token, in Jin’s eyes, it wasn’t even much of a loss.

Although every Level 3 Citizen only had three Cosmic Carrier Tokens, each one representing the authority of that Citizen, the higher your Citizen level, the more tokens you’d have access to. And with the Door to the Myriad Worlds, Jin was not the least bit concerned about further developing the Martial Dao Evolution Path and uploading improvements to the Goddess of Wisdom for more Merit Points.

Actually, even at this very moment, Jin was collecting and compiling various insights that the people of Huaxia were comprehending in the Martial Dao Evolution Path.

All the insights were ownerless, but nonetheless provided Jin with broad understandings across countless generations of Huaxia. And these understandings, although not all of the highest level or even ’correct,’ benefited Jin and the Martial Dao Evolution Path immensely.

"Alright then, let’s begin," stated Jin as he circulated his vast comprehensions in the 1st Chapter of the Martial Dao Evolution Path. He consolidated them, assimilated them with his core being, and then allowed himself to undergo a transformative change.

Part of the lake outside the mansion rippled as a phenomenon far more powerful than a normal breakthrough into the 2nd Rank occurred.

Fortunately, Jin’s mansion was protected by several layers of formations. This mitigated most of the disturbance brought about from his breakthrough, at most making his neighbors believe that a small tremor slipped through the Environmental Limiter System that enveloped Lotus Lake.

Although it was rare with how advanced modern technology had become, nothing was impossible.

"Breakthrough achieved," Jin declared, opening his eyes and unleashing a blinding blast of multi-colored light.

"The Realm after the Dantian Formation Realm. I believe I’ll call it... Hmm..."

"Ah yes, how about the Intent Merging Realm?"

As if resonating with his thoughts, his now 10-meter-large Dantian hummed. Coursing along its exterior surface were Intents, numbering over 700 in total, signifying the beginning of the merging of his Intents with his ever-expanding Dantian.

How Evolvers following different Evolution Paths broke through Rank 2 varied, but for most, the variations were pretty minor, as Rank 2 was just a beginner rank.

These breakthroughs usually involved getting an Intent to Stage 3, then using that Intent and others to propel yourself to Rank 3. And more often than not, the Evolution Path you practiced merely offered a direction on the aspects of the Intent you should cultivate, as well as Path Exclusive Skills that could be used upon reaching Rank 2.

For Jin, however, things were different.

He pioneered the Martial Dao Evolution Path. He did the same for the idea behind the Dantian. And from that, he hypothesized the idea of connecting the Dantian with the trademark evidence that one reached Rank 2.

Namely—

Intents.

Or more specifically, the ascent to Rank 2 while having cultivated at least one Intent to Stage 3.

Extrapolating this baseline proof of Rank 2 status, Jin designed the advancement from Rank 1 to Rank 2 in the Martial Dao Evolution Path to rely upon ’Dantian-Intent Merging.’

Dantian-Intent Merging was the merging of an Intent with your Dantian and could only be attempted when breaking through to Rank 2 on the Martial Dao Path.

Only after achieving preliminary merging between an Intent or Intents and your Dantian would you officially be a Rank 2 Entity—or, in the early parts of the Martial Dao’s 2nd Chapter—an Intent Merging Realm powerhouse.
