However, even if it wasn’t who he thought it was, he’d still have to accept the call. No matter if one was the Governor of a Life Planet or the Ruler of a Star Domain, rejecting the will of the Three Goddesses was akin to a death sentence.

It wasn’t like he had much of a choice anyway, for even if the Goddesses gave options to the citizens, it was merely for show. And even if you denied, the Goddesses would still follow through with their intentions, circumventing your authority with ease.

Also, he wanted to confirm something for himself, even though it might be a bit too unrealistic to be true.

"Planetary Governor Xun Lei, Citizen Level 4, this is the Rank 3 ’Martial Dao Evolutionary Path’ and is worth 1500 Merit Points as determined by the Goddess of Wisdom."
