The kick Tang Zheng threw was not fast. Even without a strengthened body, Mei Jueye could have dodged it. But catching sight of the cold gaze of the group leader from the corner of his eye, he seemed to be rooted to the ground, not daring to move an inch.

Bang, Tang Zheng landed a kick in Mei Jueye’s abdomen, making the latter stagger backwards a few steps, though he did not fall.

Noticing the expressions of the newcomers, he coldly snorted and reprimanded them, "If I didn’t take action, wouldn’t you all have become his punching bags even when you hadn’t provoked him?"

The newcomers were startled and only then did they realize that Tang Zheng was actually standing up for them. They felt incredibly ashamed for misunderstanding him. Mei Jueye, who would attack people for no reason at all, was quite daunting. They all made up their minds to keep their distance from him in the future.

The scalding coffee splashed onto Mei Jueye’s face causing him pain. But he didn’t even attempt to wipe it off. He stood up straight and walked over to Tang Zheng, keeping his head lowered, receiving the chastising.

Pang Meiqin noticed that Mei Jueye’s hand was clenched tightly, the corner of his lips twitched continuously. It was clear that he was suppressing his anger. She gave a cold chuckle. Tang Zheng kept you merely as a cautionary tale for the newcomers. You were so stupid to offend everyone! She felt that it served him right to be ostracized!

"Do you realize your mistake?" Tang Zheng’s voice was indifferent. Despite looking relaxed, he was in fact prepared for any sudden violent act. However, to his surprise, Mei Jueye admitted his mistake obediently.

"I was wrong!" Mei Jueye nearly grinded his teeth uttering these words. He had to swallow his pride this time. He kept encouraging himself, telling himself that there would be a chance in the future to get his revenge.

"Driver, Glasses Engineer, female tour guide, Meiqin, and also Mei Jueye. You five are coming with me to purchase the goods!" Tang Zheng spared Mei Jueye no further glance, stood up, and walked out of the door. Considering this kind of person as his rival felt beneath his dignity to him.

Standing outside the villa, under the warm sunlight, Tang Zheng felt disappointed. Mei Jueye was just a dummy. He knew that he was on Tang Zheng’s radar, and yet he continued pretending to be scheming some grand revenge plan. If he had swallowed his pride and buttered up to him perhaps he could have lowered his guard. His twisted ’I’m right, the world is wrong’ perspective was just too easy to read. Did he think Tang Zheng was such a fool to be incapable of seeing through him?

"If you would have got enraged and tried to fight me, I might have had a little respect for you!" Tang Zheng shook his head and got into the car prepared by Lu Fan.

Pang Meiqin wasn’t bothered by the additional tasks. The more Tang Zheng relied on her, the more importance he placed on her.

"Boss, I want to come too." The delusional teenager ran after them, looking eager. He thought Tang Zheng was very domineering. That’s what a group leader should be like.

"Tan, Tang Zheng, let him come along." The female tour guide was quite reluctant to contribute. If there weren’t other people around, she would fall straight down to her knees and beg Tang Zheng.

"Okay, but if you don’t contribute, you can’t expect the group’s help. You decide." Tang Zheng replied impassively, then turned to the delusional teenager. "Aren’t you tired?"
