Chapter 627: Chapter 26 Punishment Troop_2
There was some food in the suite’s refrigerator. Mei Jueye took an apple, nibbling it while entering the bedroom. The female secretary eyes darted around frightfully.
"So, you’re awake? Too bad we can’t communicate," Mei Jueye mumbled to himself. As he intended to enjoy the feast, Silver Trojan’s voice reverberated around the room.
"Toy, in ten seconds, the punishment squad will arrive. Prepare to flee or fight back!"
Mei Jueye scowled but didn’t waste a second. He left the Indian woman like a spooked rabbit, without hesitating, he grabbed his protective clothing from the side, put it on, then shouldered the bullet chain and filled up its magazine.
"Trojan, can you tell me how I can better enjoy this game?" Mei Jueye shouted. Noticing the Conqueror’s resentment towards Trojan, he inferred that their relationship was sour. Therefore, he decided to flatter Trojan, for now, until he had proven his strength.
"Hmm, a toy with good potential, just try your best to survive!" responded Trojan, surprisingly, but didn’t grant him any extra privileges.
A squad of fully armed Nazi soldiers began teleporting into the suite, their bulky military boots and M38 steel helmets rapidly coming into view.
"This is a chance!" The insane factor within Mei Jueye stirred up again. He didn’t run; instead, he opened the door and stood his ground, waiting as numerous pairs of boots quickly appeared and immediately shot at them, breaking ranks.
Three Nazi zombie soldiers appeared first, their vicious faces staring at him. Unfortunately, their Mauser rifles were not yet fully teleported and unable to attack
"Haha, go to hell!" Mei Jueye pulled the trigger of his semi-automatic Benelli M4, which could fire all rounds at once, saving him a lot of effort. Thus, three more soldiers fell.
Having emptied his bullets in the shortest time, Mei Jueye grabbed the MG3 machine gun from a fallen soldier’s hand and while retreating towards the door, he sprayed bullets in the area where more incoming zombie soldiers appeared and launched their attack.
The sharp sound of a Mauser rifle echoed throughout the suite.
Mei Jueye exited the room but didn’t run away. Rather, he was like a hunter waiting to pounce, looking at the entrance, waiting for his prey to appear.
The zombie soldiers rushed out and were brought down by the machine gun fire. They threw out M24 handheld grenades, and the black smoke from the explosion began to fill the corridor.
Being a half-beat slower, Mei Jueye’s face got scratched by shrapnel. The blood quickly dripped into his collar. Even one piece pierced his left eye, but he just grunted in pain, lying on the floor, spraying bullets down the corridor without even attempting to hide.
...
Tang Zheng was woken up by Chen Hong after less than an hour’s sleep. This fallen star was oblivious and sat on the edge of the bed holding a tray of food.
"Hungry?" Chen Hong asked sweetly. She placed the tray on Tang Zheng’s legs and began to knead his shoulders.
"I’m not eating," Tang Zheng brushed Chen Hong’s hand aside, placed the tray on the bedside table, glanced at the sky outside the window, got out of bed, took out a piece of chocolate, unwrapped it and stuffed it into his mouth. "Go tell them, don’t eat random stuff."
"I was just trying to be nice!" Chen Hong pouted, realizing that her charm had no effect. She quickly changed strategy. "What do you think of my flying ability? I don’t know how to maximize it. Can you help me?"
Chen Hong moved next to Tang Zheng, pretending to fix his clothes, and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Let go!" Tang Zheng tried to pull away but failed. This woman was holding on too tight.
"I want to help you!"
"I’ve told you once, let go!" Tang Zheng did not want to indulge her. Seeing her disobey, he forcefully pried her hands off him. Just as he walked towards the door, he saw Yu Manli on the outside, also holding a meal tray.
"It’s ten o’clock, should we wake them up?" Yu Manli, feeling somewhat awkward, changed the subject. She knew that Tang Zheng did not fancy her, so she didn’t even consider competing for the spot in his bed.
"Go ahead." Before Tang Zheng could finish, Silver Trojan made an announcement.
Tang Zheng took out several remote-controlled bombs, tossing them into the hallway. Then he saw the Conquerors urgently running out.
"Stay in your rooms! Only come out when I say so." Tang Zheng shouted loudly, intending to herd the newbies back into their rooms. Wherever the survivors are, that’s where the zombie soldiers will teleport to. He wanted to utilize this feature to set up traps. However, the newbies were too scared and stayed huddling in the hallway, looking at him in terror without moving.
Ten seconds passed quickly, and the Nazi zombies teleported, all appearing in the hallway.
"Damn it!" Lu Fan pulled out his pepper grinder and started shooting, shredding a few legs to pieces.
"Go to your rooms, jump out the window!" The zombies filled the hallway densely, it was certain they couldn’t break through. Tang Zheng stood at the door, using the Thunderstorm to blow up the heads of a few zombies inside into chunks, then suppressing the hallway with firepower.
Hearing Tang Zheng’s command, the Conquerors quickly retreated to their rooms, jumped out of the windows. Even Pang Meiqin could handle five or six zombie soldiers quite at ease. But the newbies were panicked. The remaining Australian man took forever to understand Tang Zheng’s shouted command in Chinese and was shot dead by the zombie soldier at the window before he could react. His whole skull was blown away by the bullets.
"Such a waste of a death. Letting me have my way once wouldn’t have hurt." Tu Jinxin, who had jumped through the broken glass onto the street, looked at the Italian girl’s body hanging on the curtain, feeling frustrated. He then shot at the window, turning a zombie soldier into a sieve.
"Nice!" Tu squad hid next to Ai Yixin, the safest place, because Chu Baichuan would shield them.
Tang Zheng detonated the bomb, turning the entire room into ruins. However, the harvest was not significant, as there were zombie soldiers shooting from each window.
"Let’s go, to the club. Find the Teleportation Gate!" The commotion here had already attracted the attention of pedestrians, with some even starting to make phone calls. Tang Zheng had no choice but to move. As long as they got to the club, it would be no problem to hold their ground until the teleportation gate was fully activated.
Old Yu hobbled along, lagging the most. He sprained his ankle when he jumped out the window.
Tang Zheng, Dantai, and an old soldier covered the retreat. Their marksmanship was impeccable. With one suppressing fire and the other two sniping efficiently in addition to the hand grenades, the zombie soldiers were kept at least fifty meters away and couldn’t raise their heads. Pang Meiqin and Xu Biyun also didn’t rush to escape. This was a good opportunity to score points. Among the current Punishment Squad, these scattered soldiers were the easiest to deal with.
In a chorus of barks, more than five hundred zombie dogs rushed out, followed by a dozen huge, giant zombies. They each held a Terminator (gun), firing at Tang Zheng and the others, suppressing them so much that they couldn’t raise their heads. Some pedestrians were also affected, getting blasted into meat sauce!
