Thunderball formed a barrage, instantly exploding the hand grenade. The attacker was suppressed and the gunshots ceased.

Boom, the blast wave, shrapnel, and flames churned and struck, sweeping up the accumulated water and mist towards the wall. Yet when it reached Tang Zheng’s vicinity, it was as if an invisible wall blocked it, all crashing to the ground.

"Who could it be?" Tang Zheng frowned, not hastily pursuing but quickly putting on Firefly. He knew that firearms were banned domestically in China. Even carrying a kitchen knife on the street could land you in the police station for questioning.

The sound of gunfire definitely would draw a crowd, which might be why the attacker quickly withdrew after failing to hit his target. Tang Zheng glanced at the bathroom filled with bullet holes, directly opened fire, and blasted it into ruins.

Dressed and out, Tang Zheng behaved as if nothing had happened, strolling and dining with An Xiuru. During a trip to the bathroom, he made a call to Qin Yan.

"Assassination? No, are you hurt?" Qin Yan asked a few questions before saying, "You go ahead, I’ll inform the others via call."

No sooner had Tang Zheng returned to An Xiuru’s side, Qin Yan’s call came through.

"Someone planted explosives in Meiqin’s house; a hapless underwear thief got sent sky-high. Lu Fan says her bodyguard saw a suspicious vehicle trailing her car," Qin Yan’s voice was full of concern. "Who do you think it is?"

"The other Trojan Squads. Our identities may have been exposed," Tang Zheng apologized to An Xiuru and moved to a corner of the restaurant.

"I thought exposing our identities will lead to Trojan Eradication?" Qin Yan frowned, "Or perhaps, some careless survivors inadvertently leaked the secret."

"No matter, tell everyone to be careful these days, I’ll lure them out and take them down." Tang Zheng glanced at An Xiuru, "That’s it, I’m hanging up."

"Wait, it’s too dangerous, Bai Guo and I will come to help you," Qin Yan insisted, not allowing Tang Zheng to refuse. "Give me the address."

After they finished watching a movie, it was exactly 10 pm. There were fewer pedestrians on the streets. Tang Zheng started wandering towards the Botanic Garden on the outer ring road, giving the enemy a chance to ambush. While he seemed unconcerned, Tang Zheng was highly focused; he didn’t want to get shot with a headshot.

Pulling out his mobile phone, Tang Zheng dialed Miranda’s number. The ringtone of ’Rolling in The Deep’ echoed out.

"Tang Zheng, what made you suddenly think of calling me?" Miranda’s voice was still lazy, apparently hungover. Even over the phone, he could smell the strong scent of alcohol.

"You didn’t tell anyone about my identity, did you?" Tang Zheng thought about it and felt that Miranda was the most likely to give away his secret.

"No, I haven’t even told the guys on my team. What’s up?" Miranda walked to her balcony and suddenly said, "You were attacked in reality, weren’t you?"

Tang Zheng was silent. He didn’t know whether to believe this woman or not. Even though they’d spent a night together, he couldn’t be sure this woman wouldn’t change her mind.

"Ha, you suspect me, huh? I’ll publish your identity in the New York Times tomorrow." Miranda issued an empty threat, vented a bit, and then advised, "Be careful. Every Conqueror that survived in each country has established their own alliances for sharing intelligence and better survival. Having survived four rounds, I’ve already been invited to join the Avengers League."

Tang Zheng frowned deeply, sensing an oncoming crisis.
