"Wait." Tie Ying shouted, stopping Liu Nai. He raised his MP5, his face serious as he looked at the automatic ticket inspection gate of the subway exit. A little further on was a staircase. Once we climb those stairs, we would reach the sunlit surface.

"What’s the matter? We’re less than fifty meters from the exit." Zhang Yifeng complained irritably, wiping the corner of his mouth and reaching out to grab Liu Nai.

Tie Ying slapped his hand away, scanning the surroundings, "Circle around Liu Nai and protect her. Tang Zheng, keep an eye on her."

Zhang Yifeng was not happy. After all, his target girl was not Liu Nai. He just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. But Bai Guo dutifully shielded Liu Nai behind him, vigilantly on guard.

"Is there a problem?" Tang Zheng was absolutely sure that Tie Ying was not a paranoid person. There must be a reason for his actions.

"Aren’t we going yet? If it weren’t for wasting all this time, we would have already escaped." Zhang Yifeng is just a self-righteous idiot who understands nothing

Both Tie Ying and Tang Zheng were furious. How did they end up with such a lousy teammate? He even loudly proclaimed what he thought, making it easy for the enemies to guess his plans.

"Why are you staring at me? I didn’t say anything wrong." Zhang Yifeng felt wronged, thinking that they were intentionally targeting him.

"From now on, shut up. If you say one more word, I won’t hesitate to put a bullet in your head." Tie Ying had had enough, itching to pull out his gun and shoot this kid.

"Calm down!" Tang Zheng growled, pulling Liu Nai behind him, warning, "If I get engaged in a fight, never leave Tie Ying’s side. Tie Ying, if anything goes wrong, just take her and run."

"Brother Tang, what about you?" Bai Guo was worried, "why does it always have to be you who covers the retreat?"

"If I die here, Bai Guo, don’t worry about anything else. Just protect Ai Li. After all, you aren’t part of our team." Tang Zheng was already faintly hearing some heavy breathing outside the exit, which did not sound human.

"I’m also not a part of your team." Zhang Yifeng muttered, completely forgetting that he had come to woo Liu Nai.

Because of this statement, Liu Nai gave him a deep glance.

After running for a while, when they were about twenty meters away from the automatic ticket inspection gate, Tang Zheng suddenly raised his gun and fired a burst.

The Thunderball exploded at the ticket inspection site, throwing debris everywhere, and then the five of them saw the enemy hiding in the shadows.

"Come out, I see you." Tie Ying ignored Zhang Yifeng, shouting to provoke the creature, "Coward hiding your head and showing your tail, come out and fight with your grandpa for three hundred rounds."

"Brother Tang, what are you talking about?" Bai Guo asked in a low voice, his face full of concern.

"It should be an Ironblood Warrior. Isn’t this thing always inseparable from the Alien, like the best of friends?" Tang Zheng wasn’t sure, but if they were facing this thing, it would tough to fight against. Its invisibility and search abilities were too bugs."

"Won’t we know if we try shooting? If we continue like this, we’ll be the first ones to breakdown," Tie Ying said, not wanting to be the prey. After giving Tang Zheng a glance, he suddenly turned around and pulled the trigger towards the vague direction of some breathing sounds, emptied a full clip, then without looking at the results, quickly pressed the switch, pulled out a full clip to replace it, and shouted exasperatingly, "Come out, you monster."

As expected, the creature caught the opportunity and quickly launched an attack, a red laser cannon shot from nowhere, targeting the group of five.

"Tang Zheng," Tie Ying immediately warned. What he just did was merely a distraction, he didn’t bother to reload, instead, he pulled Liu Nai to the side, leaving the creature for Tang Zheng to deal with.

Tang Zheng reacted very quickly, raising his rifle with one hand to face the incoming laser cannon, while not forgetting to hold on to Bai Guo with his other hand. This girl was too slow to react. She was still trying to identify the target when the laser cannon was fired.

Boom, the red light beam blew a deep pit in the ground, and Zhang Yifeng narrowly avoided it.

Tang Zheng threw Bai Guo back and picked up the rifle to let out a volley of bullets. The creature’s invisibility was not perfect after all. At high speeds, it would ultimately reveal a human-shaped outline due to light refraction in the air. For Tang Zheng, who had a superior dynamic vision, it was enough.

Tie Ying didn’t attack; instead, he quickly reloaded while being fully alert. The fast movement of the creature, along with the cloudburst, made him even more worried.

The creature began counterattacking, repeatedly firing laser cannons to drive away the five people.

"It’s trying to isolate us." Tang Zheng warned, but to no avail. The enemy’s attack was too fierce, which completely suppressed the five.

Being the main target of the attack, Tie Ying and Liu Nai were eventually separated after being hit by the laser cannon. Liu Nai fell to the ground, shards of rocks fell down, and Tie Ying’s leg was injured, and the ground was stained with fresh blood.

"Tang Zheng, save Liu Nai." Tie Ying grimaced. This passive situation left him flustered.

"Dammit." Tang Zheng had to abandon Bai Guo and run towards Liu Nai. Tie Ying, who was unable to even see the creature’s face, fell to the ground. The situation was indeed frustrating.

The creature made a long jump, its human-shaped outline flashed in mid-air, covered a distance of seven meters, landed with a thud, and was about to pounce on Liu Nai.

Just as Tang Zheng was blaming his negligence and thought the game might be over, the creature surprisingly abandoned Liu Nai, who was only five meters away, and started bombarding Zhang Yifeng with the laser cannon and even began chasing him.

"Don’t come over, you monster." Zhang Yifeng ran without looking back, firing blindly behind him, not caring if he would injure others. At this moment, in his eyes, only his life mattered.

Tang Zheng finally seized the opportunity to reach Liu Nai.
