Chapter 1468: Chapter 56: The Outburst of the Warhammer Team

"Again with the Wild God, a man who creates more problems than he solves. Once this world mission is over, I will definitely teach him a lesson."

The Blonde man roared, his emotions swirling into a Psychic Storm, exerting immense pressure on the dozen group leaders present, their expressions turning solemn.

"In that case, launch a full attack, let each Trojan Squad execute the third tactical command." The Blonde man took a deep breath, calming down. He wasn’t truly angry; his display and release of power was intended to intimidate these Group Leaders, making them realize that he was the real commander.

On the virtual screen at the front of the Conference Room, the current battlefield situation in the Square was being streamed live, data collected from ten satellites, ensuring they had a considerable home-ground advantage.

Each group leader, holding a Communicator, contacted their deputies to carry out the orders, then looked towards the Blonde man, waiting for further instructions, their attitude much more restrained this time.

"Great Leader, these two teams have the most members, should we pay special attention to them?"

"What does it matter if their numbers are larger? In Trojan World, it’s the Elite that matter, three Third-order are enough to crush that team."

"Such confidence, why not give it a try?"

Resentment and contradictions existed among various group leaders. Had it not been for Trojan issuing an absolute order to conscript two hundred Trojan Squads to annihilate the invaders, they would never sit together to discuss tactics, although mockery and undermining were still common.

The purple-haired woman pinched the bridge of her nose, somewhat distressed, soon after, she began to admire the Blonde man – managing to unite these Loose Sand into attacking the invaders and holding the advantage, this guy truly lived up to his title of battlefield artist.

"Silence!" The Blonde man shouted, multitasking, not only considering how to maximize the elimination of the invaders’ forces but also strategizing to covertly use these united Trojan Squads as Cannon Fodder to clean up.

This was a world-class hunt, a lavish feast, a massive death threat in the eyes of the weak, but for the Blonde man, it was a grand opportunity, a battle that would solidify the Golden Unicorn’s status as the top team, the inevitable path to replace Trojan and become the king of this world.

"Look, they’re making a move!" A Fatty Group Leader pointed at the screen, exclaimed, immediately drawing everyone’s gaze to the Warhammer team.

On the Square, the battle escalated, chaos intensified.

Considered as invaders, various Trojan Squads represented by the king of war were under attack from local defenders.

After initial panic, some Conquerors began to grasp the situation, some sought their teams; others wanted to follow the most powerful king of war, but paths were blocked, and merging would come at a great cost. They had to keep running.

Of course, some hard-minded Conquerors stubbornly tried to break through and reach Vasily, thinking they could weather this storm and have easier missions later. However, they were met with a strong counterattack.

Tang Zheng noticed that whenever Conquerors moved in this direction, the enemy’s attacks would instantly double, forcefully pushing them back.

"Stop charging, scatter and adapt!" Dantai yelled, advising the desperate Conquerors. It was clear the enemy intended to isolate and break them this way; charging blindly was a dead end.

There was no longer any chance to unite; not to mention the king of war wouldn’t stop leading this temporary team out of the Ambush Circle quickly. Most Conquerors first thought of joining their own Trojan Squads because familiarity could bring out immense Combat power and increase survival chances. Only a few panicked individuals would make a rash decision to unite.

"Find your teams; there lies a slim chance of survival!" Dantai strategized, needing these Trojan Squads to distract enemies. Of course, the longer a team could hold, the longer the Warhammer team had to find clues and strategize for the eve of parasitic ambush.

"Scatter, each on their own!" Natasha commanded through the speaker on her Military coat collar, "Don’t resist, just run for your lives, I’ll contact you as soon as possible to counterattack!"

The female deputy, nicknamed the dancer of the battlefield, quickly assessed the situation. Her status made her words more impactful than Dantai’s.

Conquerors shouted and roared, their morale boosted from the previous chaos and despair.

"Idiots." Kevo sneered, in such a large-scale battle, the weaker teams were inevitably Cannon Fodder, Natasha was merely making vain promises, her real goal was to use those Trojan Squads to draw away the defenders and quickly break the situation.

Fu Tianxiao felt relieved; had her team not been with Tang Zheng, they would undoubtedly have been annihilated. Following two powerful teams made her feel secure.

Over a hundred other Conquerors following the teams felt similarly fortunate.

"Be careful, the enemy might attack now, as soon as you see an enemy, psychic type Conquerors should explode, attack with full force," Dantai instructed quickly yet clearly, "All Defense Type Conquerors, be ready at the front of the teams, Attack Type Conquerors, after the Psychic attack, also unleash, release your strongest blow."

Conquerors hesitated, generally inclined to conserve their strength, a common trait among them.

"From now on, he’s in command, including myself, execute his orders unconditionally. If anyone tries to be sneaky, I’ll flay them!" Natasha decisively yielded command to Dantai after witnessing his decision-making prowess.

"Yes, commander!" Moscow’s tough soldiers collectively roared, boosting their morale again. Their conduct also prompted other Conquerors to comply, quickly rearranging under Special Agent’s command.

Almost instantaneously, countless attacks were launched from the buildings on both sides, with the barrage from heavy cannons being the most predominant, inundating the temporary team.

"Large shields, full defense, support the team!" Dantai shouted.

Led by the Old Soldiers, the defenders easily intercepted the first wave of attacks, though one unfortunate soul was killed.

The ground suddenly cracked, a red vine shot up, wrapped around his legs, and while sucking his blood, it spread instantly, engulfing him.

"Help... me." The unfortunate’s scream stopped abruptly as the vines opened and a dried corpse fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.

"Don’t get distracted, charge," Dantai wasn’t surprised at all, knowing too well that with such a large number of temporary team members, they were bound to be major targets; the enemy’s forces would be fully deployed within ten seconds at most.

"An excellent commander!" The purple-haired woman looked at Dantai, licked her red lips, wishing to claim him for herself.

"Don’t wait any longer, let all squads launch a full attack; otherwise, they’ll be defeated one by one," Fatty frowned, alerting the Blonde man.

"No, there’s no chance now. Going out is just courting death. Let them go and hunt down the squads fleeing in other directions," the Blonde man had already deduced the upcoming battle situation hence gave up.

"Why?" Fatty didn’t understand and there were some complaints from others, "We have fifty times more Conquerors than them, why not fight?"

"Idiot, it’s fifty times indeed, but they are scattered, the ones here are only about twenty times as many."

"Twenty times? Can’t we still defeat them?" Dissatisfaction grew among those present, who were all Group Leaders ranking within the world’s top hundred, each overwhelmingly confident.

The purple-haired woman shrugged her shoulders and didn’t reply; it couldn’t be tested anyway.

Click, just as the Blonde man was about to give the next command, he stared at the Virtual Screen, and, infuriated, crushed the Communicator.

"Hehe, they’ve launched the assault." Fatty suddenly laughed.

On the screen, over seventy Trojan Squads consisting of nearly five hundred Conquerors burst out from their hiding spots, attacking the invaders.

"Yes, that’s it, slaughter them."

"It must be Wild God, his style is still so fierce and intense!"

"Kill, leave no one alive!"

The brutal nature of the Group Leaders emerged, fierce as a ferocious beast ready to devour.

"Psychic type, launch a fierce attack!" Dantai roared, scattering Mental Impacts and simultaneously entering Hero Mode, firing a Ghost Bomb from his forehead.

"Mirage!" Dantai unfolded an Illusory Realm, the surrounding high buildings disappeared, replaced by a scorching, dry desert climate with no end in sight, only the scalding sun.

The charging Conquerors were met with a direct severe blow; the intense heat made them feel as if the air they breathed could scorch their lungs and their skin was drying and peeling off.

Natasha’s overall tactics were not bad either, launching a Siberian Cold Snap psychic attack at the same time as Dantai; the sudden drop in temperature almost killed the enemies instantly, followed by a fatal sniper shot, amplifying the lethal force for the whole team.

All Hero Level psychic types burst forth, launching various deadly moves, those below Third-order couldn’t burst forth freely, but they also put forth their full strength.

The line formed by over five hundred invaders faltered instantly, then was blasted open by a massive gap by the ensuing attacks.

Unprepared, if not bursting forth against psychic ability users known as ’Team Battle Weapons’, they were already at a disadvantage, if it was one, they could still fend off, looking for a chance to counterattack, but now, facing the full force blows of over thirty, they were overwhelmed.

The defenders were immediately dazed, caught in the Illusory Realm, some Hero Level reacted quickly, activating Shields, and burst forth, trying to counterattack, yet wave after wave of psychic attacks restrained them.

"Attack type, kill!" Dantai would give the defenders no time to adjust, making the attacks seamless.

Even if the Special Agent didn’t say it, seeing the enemy stunned, caught off guard, the seasoned Conquerors knew what to do; they immediately burst forth, delivering the fiercest strike.

On the virtual screen, seeing their own Conquerors easily killed, leaving behind blood and shattered corpses, the Group Leaders in the Conference Room were utterly shocked and stood up in unison.
