"I’m sorry," the female newbie apologized. She wasn’t really here for the food but was coaxed by friends to come and check out what the Conquerors were up to.

The newbies were worried about being left behind or kept in the dark; they’d rather die understanding what was going on.

"I’ll take you there!" Qin Yan was like a responsible nanny, taking care of the trivial matters of the Warhammer Team. She knew how uncomfortable it felt to be kept in the dark.

Before the mature woman could step out, a few curses rang out in the hallway, followed by a scuffle; it was a conflict between Li Zheng’s group and the new members of the Warhammer Team.

"What’s going on? Guoqiang, go check it out." Yue Jing was irritated. They hadn’t even settled down to serious business, and the newbies were causing trouble again.

"Troublesome newbies," Li Zheng cursed, with no intention whatsoever to step in and stop the fight.

"Li Zheng, what are you talking about?" Wang Fang complained to her boyfriend; there were still a few newbies standing at the door. The moment the words left your mouth, everyone will know, and if the newbies become disheartened, we won’t even have cannon fodder to use.

"Alright, Kevo, you handle it," Li Zheng casually replied and continued playing his game.

Without needing Tang Zheng’s instructions, Qin Yan had already gone out, with Xin Lan and Xu Biyun following to help.

The two fighting newbies were male and had already drawn blood, fighting desperately.

"I’ll kill you for touching my girlfriend’s hand!" It was the boyfriend of the female university student who had previously asked Tang Zheng for food. "Whatever!" Kevo wasn’t one to meddle too much. Such conflicts, no matter how Qin Yan handled them, would always leave some people dissatisfied, especially when two teams were involved. A little stirring, and the support for the Warhammer Team would wane.

"The fight’s done, the anger’s vented, let it be. Everyone back to your rooms, no wandering around. If anyone causes more trouble, the outcome won’t be as good," Qin Yan resolved the situation, hoping to downplay it. But there would always be people discontent.

"What are you doing?" The male university student got angry, stepping forward to block him.

"Get lost!" The bald man turned back and slapped the male university student in the face. He rolled away like a spinning top, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood mixed with broken teeth.

"Xinjun!" The girlfriend screamed, bursting into tears.

"What are you doing?" Qin Yan was shocked and angry; the bald man had hit too hard, leaving the male newbie’s mouth split and bloody, only swollen gums remaining.

"I just wanted to teach him a lesson, not to think that beating up a Newbie amounts to showing off in front of the Conquerors," Baldy coughed once and spat a wad of phlegm onto the male University student’s face.

"Let her go!" No sooner had Xu Biyun finished speaking than three blue Light beams appeared out of nowhere in the corridor, quickly expanding to form Teleportation Gates.

Bang, a log-like Thigh protruded, and soon after, the hideous head of the Bloodthirsty Demon also entered everyone’s view.

"Enemy forces!" Qin Yan shouted a warning, but the Newbies all screamed, panicked, turned around, and ran away, which was far more effective than her alert.

The three older sisters pulled off their Rifles and opened fire furiously at the Bloodthirsty Demon, trying to seal the Teleportation Gate and prevent more Demons from coming through.

Several Newbies ducked into the House, but what they saw was the massive body of the Bloodthirsty Demon: they wanted to hide, but it was too late. More Newbies trying to squeeze in were blocking the way behind them.

Whoosh, whoosh, the Bloodthirsty Demon’s Bronze Battleaxe swung continuously, chopping the five Newbies in front into chunks of meat. The wildly splattering blood painted the Walls like a piece of Impressionist artwork.

In order to snipe survivors, the Blood God did not hesitate to deplete power, adding more Teleportation Gates nearly everywhere in the City Hall—effectively turning it into a den of Demons.

Boom, the Bloodthirsty Demon broke through the Wall and appeared in the corridor, initiating a massacre of the Newbies.

"Holy shit, so many?" Baldy swore, seeing three Demons in pursuit; he grabbed a female University student beside him, using her as a Meat Shield, and threw her towards the Demons.

The Demon wielded its war axe and Kill her.

"No!" watching his Girlfriend’s Chest split open, visceral spilling out, and her lifeless head rolling to the side, the male University student became enraged.

Baldy and Kevo did not join the Combat; they retreated behind Qin Yan and the others, nor did they enter the House to join Tang Zheng since there were sounds of battle coming from inside as well.

"Don’t panic, everyone come here!" Qin Yan wanted to help the Newbies, attempting to maintain order.

Although the male University student was grieving, he was still rational and did not seek a desperate fight with the Demons. He wanted to run, but as he passed by a fat man, he got caught by his Calf and got dragged down.

"Go to hell!" The fat man showed no signs of injury, sprung up swiftly, and crossed over the male University student to flee.

That delay cost the University student his chance of escape; the Bloodthirsty Demon chased him down, grabbed his head, and smashed it against the Wall.

Pop, like a burst Balloon, the male University student’s entire body’s bones broke, skin split, and blood spurted out.

"Scumbag!" Xu Biyun cursed, but she had no time to deal with the fat man.

"Ha, exhilarating, this is life!" Right after the fat man shouted, he met an abrupt end. The Wall next to him cracked, and dozens of black Whips with Scales and hooks pierced out, nailing into his body and instantly draining his flesh and blood dry, leaving only an empty flaccid skin.

This was a type of Demon called the Impure; those Whips were their hair, and with four arms, one holding a decayed Sword blade, and the rest claw-like. Their bodies resembled a naked female’s, but absolutely nauseating for anyone to look at twice.

They were bare-bodied, with rough skin, and had five pairs of breasts on their chests, each somewhat rotten, emitting a foul stench. Their left leg was muscular and green, with spiny protrusions, and hooves for feet clacked on the floor with a snap.

The single Impure stuck out a foot-long tongue, hissing wildly. After killing the fat man, it rushed towards Qin Yan, and more Demons emerged behind it.

Qin Yan opened fire, the Explosive arrows hit them, knocking them back two steps but not immediately killing them. The Demons, braced against the Barrage, charged over.

The fragmented concrete Walls became a stone Golem under Xu Biyun’s Ability, which punched and shattered a Demon along with the floor.

Li Xinlan broke the automatic fire extinguisher, and as water spilled, turned into sharp ice spikes under the Ice Age effect, stabbing at the Demons.

The entire corridor seemed to blossom into a garden of ice flowers; cold and sharp ice spikes pierced through the Demons’ bodies, blood flowing out, staining the area crimson.

The Demons, with their vigorous Vitality, used Brute force to advance, breaking off the penetrating ice spikes.

The battle did not turn around. More Demons appeared and began slaughtering the survivors, with blood soon flowing like rivers.

Inside the House where the Conquerors gathered, they also faced attack, but they were brave and bold, not panicking. Instead, they were still scheming, getting others to put in more effort to slay Demons.

"Get out!" Tang Zheng had already guessed the indifference of Li Zheng and Yue Jing, so he wasn’t surprised when he ordered his subordinates to withdraw first, "Qin Yan, come back."

Already three Teleportation Gates appeared in the House, with dozens of Demons. Through these servants, the Blood God successfully located and finally lowered the largest Teleportation Gate, dispatching a lord-level Demon, to eliminate the invaders.

A thick Light beam appeared inside the House, then unfolded, and a large hand emitting yellow smoke, dripping with mucus, emerged—utterly repulsive.
