Chapter 1306: Chapter 60: Seed Burst, 2nd Tier Hero!

"We can’t win this, hurry and retreat, don’t let the Group Leader’s intentions go to waste!" After assessing the situation, Gu Xueqi urged without any hesitation and charged into the doorway.

"Group Leader, move quickly!" Lin Fachan covered his girlfriend as they retreated into the Crystal Palace, but he was also injured, his clothes soaked in blood.

Ruan Fei Fei raised her hand and shot several thunderballs, intercepting the fake female anchor pursuing them, and left to chase after Gu Xiaohua and stay with the Healing System. It would be safer there.

In a fit of rage, Pang Meiqin burst her seed ability. She never considered leaving. She traded injury for injury, fearlessly attacking the imposter.

Lin Weiguo was verbally urging others to leave but didn’t move himself; he wanted to cover the retreat and relieve some of the pressure on Tang Zheng.

"Bai Chuan, I’m sorry, but I have to repay the kindness we owe." Ai Yixin didn’t leave, her heart longing for her husband, already resigned to death.

Such dedication led Ai Yixin into a bursting seed state, blasting out a Diamond Crystal Mist around her body, enhancing her resistance to Mental Impact.

The Othala Eagle shot out and struck the fake Ai Yixin. The Warrior was also resisting Qin Yan, while Tang Zheng fought left and right, attempting to break out of the encirclement. But the numbers of the Clone group were simply too overwhelming, their attacks thick and fast, causing his shield to crack. Seconds later, the beetle shell shattered.

Tang Zheng had originally planned to leave; entering the Crystal Palace would allow him to carry out guerrilla tactics and defeat the enemies one by one. Yet seeing Jing Lan and Zhao Dongtao dead only fueled his rage, wishing he could flay the skin off these clones.

"Jing Lan, Song Xin, Zhao Dongtao, come and help!" The fake Dantai sought to use the identities of Tang Zheng’s former classmates and friends to play psychological warfare. If he lost his cool, his judgment would be impaired, creating an opening.

The Ghost Reaper floated behind Tang Zheng like the wind, its sickle chopping towards his neck.

Tang Zheng dodged; when the sickle grazed by, it had a suction force that seemed to draw out even the soul, followed by the Time-space Blackfish biting onto the shield.

Above his head, the fake Zhao Dongtao’s Floating Cannon appeared, bombarding him with a barrage of black bullets like hailstones.

The fake Song Xin stood nearby, shooting out black light arrows with paralyzing effects, covering Tang Zheng.

"Dantai, you’re looking for death!" Seeing his former classmates attacking him, even knowing they were fakes, Tang Zheng’s anger escalated further.

"Then kill me!" Dantai roared, suddenly gesturing to cast a spell. The body pieces of Zhao Dongtao and Jing Lan shook as though alive, magnetically drawing together and reconstituting a humanoid shape that looked like a stitched-together monster, albeit missing some chunks.

Click, Tang Zheng’s eyes bloodshot in a moment, the string of reason snapped, and he plunged into madness.

Already self-blaming for witnessing the deaths of his old classmates, Tang Zheng would have burst into fury sooner if he weren’t focused on covering the retreat and commanding others to escape. Now, seeing Jing Lan’s trio of clones attack him, and even their corpses desecrated, boundless anger overflowed his being.

Boom, an immense pressure radiated from Tang Zheng. Dantai’s psychological warfare backfired as Tang Zheng, driven by rage, burst into seed ability and ascended to 2nd tier hero mode.

"We’re saved!" Lin Weiguo and Pang Meiqin exclaimed in joy, even Ai Yixin involuntarily breathed a sigh of relief.

"Fuck!" The usually calm Dantai and Mu Nianqi’s faces turned pale, swearing out loud. When plans can’t keep up with changes, and the opponent bursts into the fifth order, how can they fight?

Mu Nianqi instinctively gathered the Northern Wind Ring and went full defense, but Tang Zheng broke through it. A long leg pierced through with Wind Power, kicking her in the abdomen.

Queen Mu tumbled and skidded back several meters, kicking up dust. Tang Zheng fired roaring barrages with the Warhammer, slaying Dantai.

In Hero Mode, Tang Zheng became incredibly formidable. His body’s adaptability reached its peak; each move was simple, direct, and effective. Meticulously unornate, not wasting a shred of excess energy, his burst and defense power also reached their limits. He could even survive several minutes in a high-pressure, vacuum environment.

But the most terrifying was the Seed Ability’s 200 percent effect, lifting time constraints on the use of the Furious Queen’s powers.

Gravity Suppression expanded in range, blanketing a hundred yards. All clones suddenly felt as if a mountain weighed on their backs, uncontrollably bending over, their movements stiffening.

The Warrior appeared, not only stronger and faster but also wielding more weapons—beyond the glinting Warhammer and spears, there was also a Bronze-age sword at the waist, and a Longbow of a Hundred Stones. When he drew the bow, the feathered arrows zipped like meteors through everyone’s field of vision, appearing in front of the fake Gu Xueqi.

The fake school beauty unleashed several Phoenixes, opening a Phoenix Shield around her and decisively rushing towards the Crystal Palace. With the battle so lopsided, victory was impossible.

Sizzle, the arrows turned the Phoenixes into sparks scattered across the sky, finally pinning onto the shield, shaking it violently. Then consecutive arrow volleys shattered the shield entirely.

Gu Xueqi took an arrow to the shoulder but also tumbled through the door. She rolled to her feet nimbly and sprinted through the Crystal Passage, quickly disappearing at the Crossroad.

Daylily appeared, her nurse uniform with exposed thighs transformed into a long white robe that radiated a holy aura. She chanted a Healing System Hymn, and white feathers fluttered down. With a continuous wave of her hands, she shot out white energy bullets that struck her real body counterparts.

Ai Yixin and the other two immediately felt their injuries healing and their spirits revitalized; a surge of strength spread from their hearts to every limb.

Three female musketeers appeared, their Silver Muskets evolving into Golden Muskets, with increased firing rates and enhanced power. No longer bullets, they fired fist-sized energy spheres with such precise marksmanship that their barrage hardly missed the enemies’ heads. The chilling aura of death they spread engulfed everything and nearly suffocated their opponents.

Not willing to settle for half measures, Tang Zheng clenched his teeth and took out a Star Seed, expending it entirely. The fourth musketeer appeared, clad in Baroque-style clothing, unlike her predecessors, she was an artillerywoman.

The tall and beautiful musketeer, instead of carrying Firearms, had two ivory-handled flintlock pistols at her waist and a rapier. Beside her stood a 12-pound field cannon.

The female gunner, with a twist of her mouth, her right hand clad in a deerskin glove holding a fiercely burning torch, while her left hand raised an index finger for a brief aim, then kicked the cannon’s frame.

The cannon rotated into position, aiming at the fake Lin Fachan and Lin Jing attacking Ai Yixin. Then, with a fierce jab, the gunner plunged the torch into the powder charge.

With a thunderous roar, a thick muzzle blast coughed out a cloud of white smoke, and a sizable cannon shell shot forth.

The gunner’s power was average, not enough to kill a Conqueror but effective against lesser soldiers.

The fake Lin Jing reacted swiftly, turning to shoot at the cannon shell.

Boom, amidst the barrage, the shell exploded into a shower of sparks that fell like rain, but before the fake Lin Jing could breathe a sigh of relief, the second shell was on its way.

The artillerywoman’s attack might not have been the most powerful, but she had the advantage of fast firing rate. Despite resembling a Napoleonic-era gunpowder weapon, it had no real loading limitations—firing once every second. As long as Tang Zheng’s life energy could keep up, she could keep shooting endlessly.

Whoosh, whoosh, the cannon shells, carrying the sound of cutting wind, rained down like meteor showers on the fake Lin Fachan and his companion, exploding on impact and creating big pits a meter deep, filled with deep red flames.

In Hero Mode, these female musketeers’ attacks all came with demonic and spiritual breaking effects, suited for combating fantasy-themed adversaries.

Although they had limited attack power, if Tang Zheng had enough Star Seeds, he could summon an entire battalion of musketeers. Their greatest strength was their numbers, yet with the mass-slaying power of Steel Sky, they seemed somewhat superfluous—although they could also serve to warm a bed, not that Tang Zheng was that frivolous.

The Clone group began to fear, the strength Tang Zheng displayed in an instant sending chills down their spines.

"What do we do? Retreat!" Qin Yan was kicked away; even her liquefied form couldn’t save her from a slashing wound, her Shield shattered, revealing a huge gash leaking blood across her chest.

Tang Zheng’s body could not yet sustain such massive consumption. The rapid expenditure of energy made him tired, allowing some calmness to return. He did not summon the most consuming Iron Firmament.

The fake Mu Nianqi reacted quickly, understanding the hopelessness of the situation, and bolted for the door, decisively escaping without waiting for the fake Dantai’s response.

"Retreat!" The fake Dantai was initially hesitant, but now he had no choice. Before he finished speaking, the other Conquerors had already begun fleeing towards the Crystal Palace. With the strongest, the fake Mu Nianqi gone, any remaining would be a death sentence.

"Think you can run? Not so easy," Tang Zheng pulled his cloak and instantly teleported in front of the door, blocking their escape route.

The fake Jiang Liming had beastified. Since he and his two lackeys were positioned outside the battle formation, focused on restraint, they were the fastest to flee—and now ran straight into the muzzle of Tang Zheng’s gun.

With one hand, Tang Zheng grabbed the creature’s head, swinging it like a human-flesh Wolf-tooth club, smashing his two lackeys toward Pang Meiqin.

The fake Jiang Liming roared in rage, attempting a last struggle, his beastial claws aiming for Tang Zheng’s head. Yet before they could get close, Tang Zheng’s five fingers clenched tightly, and with a squish, crushed his skull. The shattered bone and brain pulp fell through his fingers.

The fake Jiang Liming’s body immediately went limp, and Pang Meiqin rushed past the two lackeys, with Ripper in hand performing a horizontal slash that dismembered them on the spot.

Lin Weiguo was entangled with his Clone, preventing his escape, while Ai Yixin was wrapped up with the fake Lin Fachan and his accomplice, the female musketeers joining the fray.

"Break through him, rush past!" Dantai roared, under the pressure of life and death he finally exploded as a third-order Explosive Type, "Death’s Touch, Imprison!"

Against a typical Third-order, one’s body would instantly become sluggish, as if wading into a swamp, but Tang Zheng remained completely unaffected.

His heavy fist swung out, and the fake Zhao Dongtao spat blood, tumbling out with a visibly collapsed chest—the ribs broken in at least five places.

In his 2nd tier hero state, Tang Zheng had turned the tables, plunging the Clone group into panic, desperate to rush into the Crystal Palace. (To be continued.
