Chapter 1221: Chapter 89: Offensive_2

Tang Zheng had already considered how to deal with opponents with abilities, so he calmly began to retreat, switching to bullets that were already incredibly powerful. Coupled with the enhancing effect of the Howling Reaper, every bullet fired was like a small caliber cannon shell, rampaging wildly.

Bang, bang, bang, the Iron Man, under the barrage of bullets, had its offensive momentum halted, and dents began appearing on its body. When it exceeded its tolerance range, holes finally began to form.

Belyaev moved continuously, waving his hands and using the carriage walls as material to create Iron Men. His ability was a summoning system’s Steel Puppet, which allowed him to create puppets from any metal object to assist in combat.

"Zixuan, put in some effort." Tang Zheng grabbed the walkie-talkie and growled. The current situation was actually not bad – he was restraining their ability user, allowing the policewoman and her team to aggressively attack the opponent’s main camp.

"I see the girl." The policewoman heard intense gunshots and the noise of Iron Men striking the carriage walls through her walkie-talkie. "Are you under a lot of pressure over there?"

"Quit the chatter. Kill them first, remember to shout, ’Kill Eve!’ followed by ’Spare not a single chicken or dog,’ and say it in English. Then fire a few shots towards Eve," Tang Zheng urged the policewoman. He himself was in a precarious situation, wanting to leave the Iron Man puppet and directly kill Belyaev. However, after receiving a reminder from the Group Leader, he performed remarkably, using one Iron Man as a meat shield and having other puppets advance behind it.

Tang Zheng went full firepower, taking down the first one, but there were more behind. If it weren’t for their large size, they would be advancing even faster.

"Such a small space inside the carriage, why make the Iron Men so tall? It affects their agility," the Group Leader cursed while exchanging fire with the policewoman’s side.

"But I can only summon five puppets. If their size is reduced, their power will decrease too," Belyaev retorted, dissatisfied. Ever since he gained his ability, he hadn’t looked highly upon the Group Leader.

"Bullshit. Five against one, you hold all the cards. Even if they’re smaller, you’d still win. The main goal now is to kill the Group Leader. Send a few over to block the opposing ability user," the Group Leader roared, wishing he could smash Belyaev’s teeth in. Newbies are just newbies, they lack experience.

"You can only summon five puppets at a time, right? That’s too few. You can’t kill me without ten," Tang Zheng said after noticing that the number of puppets remained at five, not increasing, and used words to strike at the opponent.

Belyaev’s heart skipped a beat, feeling anxious. The Group Leader had bolstered his status among the newbies by talking about how strong he was, which now actually caused psychological pressure on Belyaev. The performance of the opposing Group Leader was undoubtedly that of a Heroic Group Leader.

"Don’t count on that person behind you to take a potshot at me, I’ve already killed him," Tang Zheng said with a calm smile, continuing to provoke Belyaev, yet his actions didn’t stop, and his attack intensified. "To kill me, you’d need three more ability users."

The Ukrainian survivors were somewhat panicked, after all, Beard wasn’t attacking—that was a fact.

"Keep calm, he’s playing psychological tactics," the Group Leader shouted. "I alone can take care of him."

"Then come on over. Let’s have a one-on-one, or you can go one-on-one with our ability user," Tang Zheng laughed heartily, with all the confidence of someone holding the winning cards, although deep down he was somewhat anxious because the policewoman hadn’t shouted as he requested.

Of course, the Group Leader wouldn’t fall for such a simple trick. If he left his position, it would surely lead to team annihilation, but the group members didn’t think so; they felt the Group Leader was showing timidity.

"What’s wrong?" Tang Zheng asked the policewoman.

"We were supposed to save Eve, weren’t we? You must have mixed it up," Dong Zixuan was confused. If they were on the ground, with her powerful lava strike, these guys would have been taken down long ago.

"Shut up and do as I tell you," Tang Zheng snapped for the first time. Was this a time for explanations? They couldn’t afford to waste a single second.

"I see Eve now. Focus fire and kill her first," Dong Zixuan pouted, feeling wronged. However, Tang Zheng hadn’t made any mistakes since entering the game, which made the policewoman believe his words. She shouted loudly and shot at Eve.

The Group Leader had been guarding Eve and immediately took cover with her, even using newbies as meat shields.

"Stop lying. Your mission is the same as mine, to save Eve. Stop this madness, or I’ll kill the little girl. No one will be able to complete the mission," the Group Leader roared furiously, clearly shocked. The situation was now in the opponent’s favor, and although he had hoped to use Eve as leverage, he didn’t expect their missions to be opposite.

"Don’t talk, just attack Eve hard," Tang Zheng reminded Dong Zixuan, using the gunshots as cover.

"What if I accidentally kill her and mess things up?" Dong Zixuan was worried, but still complied. Listening to the Group Leader, she essentially understood Tang Zheng’s intention. Without such measures, Eve would remain a massive lever that the Ukrainians could exploit, preventing them from daring to attack.

"No worries, if she dies, it’s on me," Tang Zheng said with a dismissive look in his eyes, though not visible to the policewoman. With their poor marksmanship, it would be difficult to hit a target, let alone Eve under the protection of a Group Leader. If it weren’t for the abilities and firearms, their formation would have been breached long ago.

"Are you looking down on me?" Dong Zixuan caught on, feeling disheartened. She fired several shots at Eve, and since the Group Leader was holding her, it was also tantamount to attacking him. She now understood Tang Zheng’s point. Without doing this, Eve would become a significant bargaining chip, potentially allowing the Ukrainians to put them in a difficult position, hesitate to attack.
