Fortunately, he activated his defense shield in time; otherwise, he would have likely died.

"Xin Lan, build an ice wall to limit its range of movement," Tang Zheng roared as he ran towards the center of the street. If they continued like this, they would only be left to passively take hits and rescuing Sha Ou was the top priority.

The demon knight regained his riding posture, changed direction, and doubled-back. The bullets from the Demon Slaying Holy Flame enveloped Tang Zheng, and after being blocked by a shield, they burst into countless sparks, which were exceedingly brilliant on Main Street in the dark night.

The Demon Lock Chain, due to inertia, continued to fly around, and Sha Ou couldn’t escape, hitting the wall harshly. After sliding on the ground in almost a 180-degree arc, he was pulled back once more.

This series of impacts caused Sha Ou multiple fractures, but he was a tough one. Enduring the severe pain, he slapped a first aid kit on himself and then unleashed telekinesis.

The knight lifted its burning front wheel, leaping over Tang Zheng’s head, while the gun barrel aimed down and fired at him.

Tang Zheng, not to be outdone, immediately entered Hero Mode. A powerful gravity suppression descended, one hand firing with demon flame, the other wielding Snow Progeny, waiting for the falling knight to pierce its skull.

"Purify!" The demon knight glared, sweeping his eyes toward Tang Zheng.

As if struck by thunder, Tang Zheng’s head throbbed, and then flames erupted around him, thankfully blocked by the shield.

This was yet another talent of a knight, capable of igniting any living being with his eyes, purifying the unclean.

Boom, the Hell Motorcycle shifted gears and accelerated again, bursting out of the range of gravity suppression.

Tang Zheng reached out and grabbed the chain, flexing his arm, leaning his body back, and pressing his foot on the ground, hoping to save Sha Ou. Yet, the horsepower of the Hell Motorcycle was not small, dragging Tang Zheng along.

"Sha Ou, save yourself, fire extinguisher! Xin Lan, freeze him." Tang Zheng instantly took command, then exhaled and shouted, flexing his arms once more. This time he finally managed to halt the Hell Motorcycle and quickly twisted his waist and swung his arm, using the momentum to smash it aside.

With a hiss, the foam came gushing out, dousing him completely. The suffocating feeling of being deprived of air immediately overwhelmed him.

Crack, a layer of ice, several millimeters thick, climbed over Sha Ou’s body. After extinguishing the flames, it immediately crumbled. Even so, Sha Ou suffered frostbite, but compared to the severe burns, it was nothing.

Even though Sha Ou had gone all out, the consumption of fighting power was tremendous. His entire face was left without any intact skin, black and red as if charred, and even his hair had fallen out.

Thud, Tang Zheng’s sword pierced the knight’s chest, slicing horizontally with force. It cut open the knight’s leather clothes and indeed, apart from a skeleton, there was nothing inside.
