Chapter 1077: Chapter 47 Slaying with a Bang

The rotating chainsaw blade dug into Bynum’s arm, sending minced flesh flying everywhere, but it couldn’t cut any further; his flesh was like fermenting dough, and large chunks of nauseating flesh quickly regrew, wrapping around the saw blade and slowing its movement.

Tang Zheng crushed Bynum’s wrist, but before he could let go, it was as though he’d plunged his hand into jelly. Flesh spread and engulfed his palm, climbing up his arm, while Bynum’s body fat also stretched out and wrapped around Tang Zheng.

The strong stickiness and pulling force made Tang Zheng’s retreat seem futile.

"I’m going to eat you, make you my dinner!" Bynum roared as his burst belly suddenly became a huge gory mouth, full of wriggling, teat-like teeth that snapped at Tang Zheng’s skull.

"Mr. Tang!" Aihara Chiharu worried about Tang Zheng’s safety, raised her rifle and shot, hoping to save him.

Song Tong shuddered in fear, at a loss of what to do, and Aoki Hiroshi’s attack rate was not fast either. Tang Zheng’s death would be the most advantageous to them.

"That’s because you’re Chinese." Aoki Hiroshi had a good impression of Tang Zheng, but unfortunately, nationality meant they could not trust this kind Group Leader.

Tang Zheng frowned slightly, swung his fist with all his might into Bynum’s belly, but the ring of fat softened the blow immediately, generating a strong suction that trapped his entire arm.

Bynum sneered as he approached Tang Zheng, with the flesh that entangled him now pulling Tang Zheng into Bynum’s body.

"Stop shooting." Bubblegum girl couldn’t bother pretending anymore. She stopped the soldiers from firing and waited on the side, killing the ordinary demon patients. She planned to benefit from their mutual destruction.

Tang Zheng could no longer swing his arm. The fat wrapping his body was like a mire, unable to exert strength and accompanied by waves of foul odor. Tang Zheng, who had intended to conserve his strength, now erupted with full force.

Boom, a large cloud of blood-colored mist burst from his body, only to be rapidly sucked back in. Tang Zheng crossed over the third stage and entered Hero Mode, with massive power immediately flooding his limbs and bones.

"Die!" Tang Zheng linked his fingers to form a knife, stabbing continuously with both arms like a sharp drill bit, tearing through Bynum’s flesh.

Plop, Tang Zheng tore open the flesh sack and burrowed out.

Bynum roared, now completely unrecognizable as a human, turned into a slime-like substance aiming to assimilate Tang Zheng. The flesh now became fluid, spreading in all directions—it resembled a flowing stomach, capable of digesting anything.

In Hero Mode, Tang Zheng’s transformation was direct. Not only did his strength increase tremendously, but an axe also appeared on his back. He took it with one hand, and with a mighty downward slash, the demon patient on the receiving end was split in two, the force of the blow scattering debris all around.

The dual-wielding warrior mowed through the demons as if he were in an uninhabited territory, slaughtering them mercilessly.

"Fourth Order?" Bubblegum girl’s face changed, she stopped chewing, contemplating leaving with her compatriots due to fear of retribution, but she also harbored a glimmer of hope—what if he died? Moreover, Trojan had said they weren’t to attack each other, so she seemed to be safe for now.

"Hmph, it seems I have been underestimated." Tang Zheng took eight seconds to break out of the flesh sack. Under his blows, fist-sized blood-soaked chunks of flesh scattered everywhere, and along with the warrior’s violent assault on the demons, completely pulverized the corpses. In the newbies’ view, the surrounding environment was a scene of blood with minced flesh flowing everywhere.

Soiled with stains of blood, Tang Zheng emerged, furious. He plunged his hand into the mass of flesh, pulled out a clump of the brain.

Hisss, Bynum’s tongue shot out like an arrow toward Tang Zheng.

Tang Zheng grabbed it, tore it off, and then crushed his skull, brain pulp splattering through his fingers.

"Huh? Where is your heart?" Seeing the mass of flesh still moving and even quietly slipping away, Tang Zheng activated Gravity Suppression. It was as if the flesh had been hammered down flat, spreading thin on the ground like a sheet.

A red heart was exposed, covered in a dense mesh of wriggling suction tubes, ceaselessly pulsating. Tang Zheng pounced, the flesh barrier rose from the ground to block him, but was easily torn apart.

Instead of crushing the heart, Tang Zheng tossed out the Bug Heart. This evolvable prop, like an evil wolf sighting delicious meat, immediately wrapped around the heart and began devouring it.

"My heart!" the mass of flesh writhed as the Bug Heart took Bynum’s form, though now appearing significantly weaker and the reassembled head was incomplete.

With forceful steps, Tang Zheng lunged, grabbed Bynum’s head, yanked it over, and with his body airborne, struck with his knee like a whirlwind, repeatedly pounding Bynum’s chest to a pulp, then delivered a whip kick that blew his skull apart, splattering flesh everywhere.

"Warrior!" Tang Zheng’s right foot stamped on the ground like an axe, cracking and splintering it. With another thrust, a large section of the floor rose up, which he grasped and slammed down, smashing Bynum’s rotten flesh toward the warrior.

Armed with dual weapons, the warrior whirled into action, beheading Bynum.

"Tang Zheng, I’m so glad you’re okay." Seeing Tang Zheng out of danger, Aihara Chiharu rushed over and embraced him without minding the stains on his body.

A demon patient lunged at him, but as soon as it got close, Tang Zheng’s arm stretched out, seizing its head, and with a crunch, the skull was crushed.

Bubblegum girl watched, dumbfounded, at his overwhelming dominance, totally crushing the enemy, while the other newbies fell silent as cold cicadas, and three soldiers awkwardly gave a thumbs up.

Aoki Hiroshi saw Aihara Chiharu hugging Tang Zheng, bit his lip, and clenched his fists; he wanted to become stronger.

"Follow me," Tang Zheng patted Aihara’s shoulder and withdrew the Bug Heart, although the creature hadn’t evolved, its healing power had increased once again.

The death of Bynum also lifted the restrictions on Tang Zheng’s S-Class Weapons. Not wanting to search for the Dean floor by floor, he took out the East Sea Road’s First Bow, drew the bowstring back fully like a full moon, and a speckled arrow immediately materialized.

With a boom, as Tang Zheng released his hand, the arrow, fast as a meteor, broke through the ceiling, piercing straight through.

Concrete fell and dust drifted all around. Probably due to the demonization, the arrow, which was supposed to pierce through the entire hospital, only blasted through three floors.

A large number of demons, sensing the presence of a strong adversary, jumped down through the hole, especially those Demonic Flies that emerged through the Teleportation Array.

"What are you doing? Trying to get everyone killed?!" Bubblegum girl roared angrily. Being just a First Order Conqueror, she would be drained to death by these demons’ numbers.

"Shut up." Tang Zheng immediately drew his bow again, firing hundreds of speckled arrows randomly, hitting the demons before they could even charge, turning them into a wasps’ nest. The momentum of the arrows didn’t stop there, blasting through several walls ahead, opening a view to the starry sky above.

This commotion also attracted the attention of some people. Those who were confident in their abilities sped up their attacks, while Rogers, not finding the Dean, ran into the man whose pregnant wife had died. Right now, his entire head was ablaze with flames, leaving only a skeleton, demonized from head to toe, looking extremely terrifying.

"Accompany my wife," he roared, launching an attack.

"Get out of the way, trash." Rogers, holding a shield, struck it down on the skull with a mighty blow. The force that could dent a tank was unexpectedly blocked, and Rogers exclaimed in surprise before opening full firepower.

"Look after yourselves," Tang Zheng said, not taking the stairs as it was too slow for him. Carrying the First Bow, he jumped up through the hole in the ceiling.

After breaching the eighth floor, Tang Zheng found the Dean’s Office.

It was a vast office, a good three hundred square meters, lavishly furnished with elegant flooring and Persian carpets, and walls glittering with various priceless paintings.

Tang Zheng took a glance, the main entrance behind him, and before him, a scene resembling hell on earth.

About a hundred female corpses lay in disarray on the carpet, all with their necks twisted, their blood flowing out and collecting under their bodies into a Magic Array, summoning a powerful demon.

In front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window, the wide-figured Dean was seated comfortably in his chair, enjoying a goblet of wine while watching the night view of the city.

"Young man, was it you who broke the hospital’s disguise, letting it become demonized?" The Dean looked over upon seeing the intruder.

The old man in the suit, who always liked to peer down the sewer, was not responsible for the hospital’s demonization; rather, he revealed the true face of the hospital that had already been demonized.

Tang Zheng frowned; apart from the smell of blood, there was a faint whiff of sulphur in the room, pungently irritating, sticking to the skin with an itching sensation.

"Young man, you’re very impolite, why rush to die? Won’t you have a drink? This is the sweetest blood!" The Dean swirled his goblet, his face full of bragging, and seeing that Tang Zheng was unmoved, he chuckled, "Or do you fancy beauty instead?"

With a snap of his fingers, the six nurses standing beside the Dean immediately dropped what they were doing and advanced for an attack.

Tang Zheng returned the Dean a snap of his fingers, as his General rushed out to assault the Dean, while he himself raised the First Bow, drawing it back fully.

A spurt, the speckled arrow shot forth, but before it could reach, a nurse stepped in front of the Dean, and thud, the arrow pieced her chest. However, she merely stumbled back two steps without serious injury.

Two nurses faced the General, while the other four charged at Tang Zheng; the naked corpses on the ground also began to change, drying up rapidly as their life essence was drained. With a pop, their bellies burst open, and out crawled demons.

"Disgusting!" Tang Zheng fired a Moon Blade, cutting into the nurses. However, the skins of these women were abnormally tough, and his speckled arrow attacks that targeted the demons were also blocked.
