Chapter 1029: Chapter 11: Red Trojan Horse and Beating the Newbie (Three updates, 10,000 words)_2
"Small fry!" Tang Zheng spat out phlegm, ready to take down these guys and establish his dominance.
The Japanese college students were at a loss and began arguing. Two of them suggested going to the Americans, but the others disagreed.
"Don’t start a fight!" An American youth dressed in a Superman costume struggled free from his companions and stepped forward, trying to prevent the conflict, "Shouldn’t we first figure out where we are?"
"These guys are not good people. They just blew up the kidneys of two black men." Tang Zheng’s Japanese pronunciation was clear, instantly endearing him to the Japanese students.
"Are you mixed race?" A very cute black-haired female student with attractive large eyes asked, having a teammate with off-the-charts combat power naturally gave a sense of security.
"No, Chinese!" Ignoring the girl’s disappointment, Tang Zheng switched to English, "Hey, these Nordic jerk-offs are all terrorists, you guys better be careful."
This fluent North American accent also made the Americans feel less isolated, and some enthusiastic girls had already started waving hello.
Tang Zheng sort of enjoyed this feeling of sowing discord; he wanted to isolate those people from Northern Europe, so he switched languages again, with pure Italian flowing out effortlessly.
"That cube is called the Red Trojan Horse. There will be a death game later. Oh, and be cautious of the Nordic people, it seems there might be killers among them."
The Italians looked at each other in disbelief, but the professional terms Tang Zheng used had an intimidating effect on them; no one wanted such doubts, so they eagerly asked for clarification.
Tang Zheng patiently answered, all the while casting glances at the Nordic people. For psychological reasons, the Italians also occasionally glanced at them.
After Tang Zheng had spoken four languages in succession, with precise pronunciation and fluently, without any communication barriers, all the newbies were shocked and regarded him as a language genius, full of admiration.
Being able to communicate is the first step toward a harmonious relationship.
The Nordic people were frustrated; they didn’t know what everyone was saying to the Asian youth, but noticing the constant looks toward themselves, they guessed it had to do with their group and became wary. This cautious attitude made the other young people from different countries keep their distance from them.
Tang Zheng aimed for just this effect; sometimes, small actions can have unexpected outcomes. Along with the herd mentality, the Nordic people were successfully isolated, and undoubtedly, Tang Zheng became the center of attention.
"Damn, looks like the team’s gonna split up this time." Just with a few simple words, Tang Zheng had identified the central figures of a few teams—the Americans had a blonde girl and a guy in a Superman costume, the Italians had a man with charming blue eyes, definitely a handsome guy, and unexpectedly for the Japanese, where males typically dominated, it was a girl, not very tall, but serene, with a confident light shining in her eyes, quietly observing and noting everyone’s behavior in the room.
The Teleport continued, and Dantai Zongqi and Xu Liangmao entered, giving Tang Zheng a sigh of relief.
The two men were fully armed, immediately shutting up the newcomers, then Sha Ou’s entrance made them even more breathless. This forthright man was squatting on the ground, cradling a tub of cup noodles, voraciously eating away, with a Heavy Magnetostorm Rifle slung over his back and wearing full camo gear, looking very intimidating.
"Eh? The room has changed?" As Sha Ou slurped the noodles into his mouth, he looked surprised and walked over, gulping down the soup as well.
Yu Manli, Ruan Feifei, and Jing Xiang appeared, but they didn’t draw much attention because sixteen fully armed Mexican men teleported in.
"Drug dealers?" The Superman-clad man was quite knowledgeable and became tense upon examining their weapons and gear.
Hearing this, those who understood English were startled, and the Mexicans put on a fierce show, racking their rifles and aiming at the group.
"Don’t move, hands on your head and squat down." The leading drug dealer captain pulled out a handgun and fired two shots at the ceiling, bellowing loudly. Several more aimed their guns at the Chinese people. If it weren’t for the futuristic look of the Heavy Rifles, a gunfight would have surely broken out.
The young newbies, facing the threatening muzzles, were forced to squat down. The Warhammer team, however, remained indifferent, not even bothering to roll their eyes.
"Put the guns down?" Dantai spoke fluent English too and, seeing the Mexicans aiming their handguns at him, became angry, released a Mental Impact, and the Mexican brutes instantly wilted and fell to the floor.
Tang Zheng stepped forward, activated Gravity Suppression, and the Mexicans crumpled to the ground in agony as if struck by a great force.
"This is the Red Trojan Horse, North America zone!" Tang Zheng explained, and Dantai nodded.
Watching the Mexican drug dealers all lying on the ground, their faces twisted in pain, unable to get up, the newbies were shocked.
Teleportation continued, and Li Xinlan, Pang Meiqin, Jing Xiang, Teng Yuanxiang, and Tao Tao appeared. As they watched the survivors who filled two-thirds of the house, they made their way over to Tang Zheng’s side.
"Group Leader, what’s going on here?" Teng Yuanxiang was always trying to get closer to Tang Zheng.
"A bunch of cannon fodder." Pang Meiqin longed for the title of the Fearless and wished to mistreat the newbies without restraint.
Twelve American soldiers appeared, dressed in Sansha camouflage uniforms, with military gear on their feet and M4A1 rifles in their hands, making the atmosphere even tenser.
Dantai negotiated with these people to avoid a firefight.
This was clearly another game of no small difficulty. Teleportation continued, and finally, the Chinese newbies also arrived.
A skinny twenty-five-year-old youth with long hair covering his eyes gave off a cold demeanor. His name was An Fei. He immediately walked over to his compatriots upon surveying the crowded house.
The middle-aged woman whose bag was snatched also teleported in, sitting on the ground, her face full of panic and unease as she looked around.
"What is this place?" She had missed a step on the stairs, tumbled down, and died from the fall.
Hu Shang, who was beaten by Tang Zheng, and Zhang Heng appeared as well. The former had a severe allergic reaction after taking medication and died, while the latter molested a nurse in his depression, prompting her to grab a fruit knife in desperation and stab him in the abdomen, leading to his death.
Behind them were five bank robbers with black hoods over their heads and two scantily clad prostitutes, who had all died due to a dispute over their loot and a sudden raid by the Armed Police at their hideout. The two prostitutes were simply collateral damage.
At this point, the room was already in chaos, divided into several small groups that were eyeing each other with hostility, ready to incite a riot over the slightest conflict.
"So many people? How difficult is this game going to be?" Pang Meiqin was frustrated and looked at Tang Zheng, "Is being a foreign aid this hard?"
"I’m not sure," Tang Zheng said. The only thing he was sure of was that these guys were definitely unlucky and would die in all kinds of ways.
Two more newbies came in, Yin Zhijian and Song Tong, who had died from mutual injuries. This middle school classmate, bearing a grudge for his wounds, sneaked into Song Tong’s house in the dead of night, but due to his weakened state, both perished in a struggle.
"You bastard, I fed you, and you still wanted to kill me!" Song Tong looked at the wound on her chest and cursed loudly, "Even if I end up in hell, I won’t let you go."
Yin Zhijian was trembling, not yet recovered from the frenzy of murder.
"Stop yelling, you’re alive again." Tang Zheng called out, sighing. These two obviously wouldn’t complete the mission and were clearly going to die again.
"Tang Zheng?" Song Tong was overjoyed to see Tang Zheng, and then she burst into tears, getting up and running over, but Teng Yuanxiang and Pang Meiqin both stepped forward to block her.
"Tang Zheng, it’s me. What is this place? Am I really not dead?" Song Tong trembled with excitement, as if she had seen hope.
"Get lost," Pang Meiqin glared at Teng Yuanxiang and narrowed her eyes, deciding to find an excuse to teach this woman a lesson.
"Why should I?" Teng Yuanxiang had just asked when she saw Pang Meiqin swing her hand, striking her. She tried to dodge, but it was far too late.
Slap, slap. The beautiful-legged stewardess slapped Teng Yuanxiang four times, back and forth.
