This seemed to be the sports complex of the native humans, a spacious area equipped with various fitness facilities; however, it was now decrepit and had become the nest for bugs. Swarmed by the overwhelming insect horde, the surroundings were filled with eggs of the Insect Race, stuck together by a revolting, greenish mucus, spreading over the area like a sea of bug eggs.

Some began to hatch, breaking through their shells and crawling out, howling as they devoured the nearby mangled flesh—a survival instinct imprinted in their genes. After slightly regaining their strength, they started crawling towards the survivors, intent on destroying them.

"Tang Zheng, conserve your strength, and Ruan Feifei, hold back on the lightning, just kill those nearby," Dantai commanded the smaller scene—it was, of course, best to save the Group Leader’s energy for the BOSS battle.

To conceal their tracks, Dantai forbade the usage of the vehicle’s artillery, but relying on the steel defense established by the tanks was enough to block the frenzied swarm of insects.

The bugs, moving en masse, were like a black ocean, the sound of their menacing mouthparts constantly bombarding the eardrums, almost causing temporary tinnitus.

After ten minutes, the Mechanical Dragonfly arrived at the lair of the Mother Queen and transmitted back live footage of the battle.

The Red-Clothed Woman, as expected, had taken a shortcut and found the Mother Queen first and was now engaged in fierce combat.

"Group Leader, you’re really amazing!" Teng Yuangxiang complimented Tang Zheng. No wonder this team had the most survivors, with such an impressive leader, the team members could hardly die unless they were really foolish.

"That’s great, the Red-Clothed Woman is injured, but it seems she’s not hampered in battle," Lu Fan exclaimed joyfully upon seeing the Red-Clothed Woman bleed profusely from a pierced right leg, but then her smile swiftly sank—apparently, the woman had already been treated and her movements were unhindered.

"She’s kiting, trying to drag the BOSS to death," Dantai observed for a few seconds and identified many issues. The Red-Clothed Woman’s abilities were sharp in disguise, assassinations, and sneak attacks, but she was much weaker in direct combat. However, relying on Hero Mode, she was only slightly at a disadvantage.

"If she still had a few teammates, the battle would be over by now," Sha Ou gasped, feeling immensely relieved.

"The Trojan Horse Game is essentially a Team Battle. It’s their own fault for being selfish and indifferent to the life and death of other team members. They deserve to suffer now," Lu Fan commented with a glance towards Yu Manli, her words dripping with sarcasm.

"Steady the pace, wear them down slowly. We’re in no hurry, just get familiar with the combat styles of the Mother Queen and the Red-Clothed Woman. Later, we’ll wait to take the last kill and gather the spoils of war," Dantai encouraged the team members, training the newbies. "Don’t hide, fight and adapt to the killing as quickly as possible."

"Qin Yan, Brother Lin, don’t attack and conserve your energy. I have a feeling it won’t be that simple," said Tang Zheng, wanting to keep a Reserve Team ready for unexpected situations. "Dantai, divide the team members into three squads and rotate them."

Dantai’s execution was beyond doubt; in less than a minute, he had arranged everything, mixing the veterans and the newbies together.

"The Mother Queen is using her ability, Invisibility," shouted Lu Fan, immediately grabbing everyone’s attention.

On the virtual screen, only the Red-Clothed Woman remained visible. Seeing the Mother Queen disappear, she didn’t panic or move randomly but remained composed and still, standing in her spot. At such a moment, making noise would only disturb oneself.

"If we had a Psychic type among us, we might be able to deal with this situation," Dantai complained, longing to prove his strength. A psychic Conqueror had acute senses and was extremely adept at detection and team battles, although going solo against the BOSS would likely lead to their demise.

The Red-Clothed Woman still didn’t evade when the Mother Queen appeared behind her. Although she reacted swiftly, swinging her Nepalese Curved Knife behind her, after striking the target, the Mother Queen shattered like glass, only to reappear in her blind spot and succeeded in ambushing her. A blade arm cut through her body, leaving a bloody trail.

"She can even create illusions," Yu Manli complained, rubbing her headache. Such abilities were treacherous, and one could be easily deceived with a moment of carelessness.

The Mother Queen’s appearance was human-like, only its skin crawled with hard scales. Even when hit head-on by a light beam, it was merely a flesh wound, but breaking through its protective shell was needed first. In its tug-of-war with the Red-Clothed Woman, it began to get injured frequently, its bloodlust growing with the fresh bloodshed. Rejecting its first form, it swelled to five meters in height, developed two extra pairs of blade arms from its ribs, and over the scales, it layered a chitinous exoskeleton. Its lower half morphed into a beetle-like shape with six sets of razor-sharp legs. The bone scales on its back could open and shoot out semi-transparent Wind Blades that left foot-deep dents in the alloy floor when hitting it.

Surprisingly, the Red-Clothed Woman was wearing Tyrannosaurus Protective Clothing, but against the Mother Queen’s overpowering strikes, it proved somewhat frail. In less than three minutes, all five Light Defense Shields were shattered, and her body was marred with wounds.

As time ticked on, the battle between the Red-Clothed Woman and the Mother Queen grew increasingly brutal; almost every strike drew blood. After probing all of the Mother Queen’s attacks using the kite strategy, the Red-Clothed Woman intensified her offensive—knowing that the longer the battle, the more it worked against her.

"Just destroy the Bug Eggs!" Lu Fan, unable to stay idle, took up a machine gun and blasted at the eggs, blowing them all apart.

As the eggshells were destroyed, the green mucus spilled out, exposing the immature larvae, which immediately suffocated and visibly shriveled up.

"It’s about time to reap the harvest!" Yu Manli exclaimed with joy, seeing the Red-Clothed Woman’s strength reduced to half.

"Stay focused!" Tang Zheng kept an eye on the battle, but suddenly, there was an unexpected turn.

The Queen was suppressed and heavily damaged, immediately unleashing her ultimate ability. After forcing the Red-Clothed Woman back, she let out a piercing roar. The periphery of the nest instantly lit up, and the massive teleportation gate opened.

A large number of Insect Race guards were summoned to the Queen’s side, and Tang Zheng and his group, being nearby, were also teleported.

Gunshots rang out, immediately drawing the Red-Clothed Woman’s gaze.

"It’s you?" Seeing that Tang Zheng and Dantai’s expressions hadn’t changed at all, the Red-Clothed Woman’s pupils sharply contracted, realizing she had been outmaneuvered.

The bugs swarmed in a blanket attack, with some flying bugs even spitting acid, like a heavy rain. The Conquerors activated their shields to resist, while the newbies were less fortunate. Two who didn’t dodge were splashed all over, their skin corroded, emitting black smoke.

They let out only two screams before being swarmed by the Insect Race and killed.

Seeing the Queen catching up, the Red-Clothed Woman turned and ran, attempting to break away from the battle. However, after rushing into the teleportation gate, her body didn’t disappear. Once she entered, that thing would lose its effect. Gritting her teeth, the Red-Clothed Woman made a split-second decision and lunged toward Team Warhammer.

The more chaotic the melee, the better it was for the Red-Clothed Woman, but Tang Zheng wouldn’t let her get her way.

"Qin Yan, attack, everyone else be on alert for the Queen." Tang Zheng shot out a Moon Blade and drew his sword to join the combat, followed closely by Sister Qin wielding a Tang Sword, cutting down any Insect Race that tried to block her path.

The Queen, possessing intelligence, swiveled its fly-like compound eyes. Seeing the Red-Clothed Woman and Tang Zheng locked in fierce combat, she instantly abandoned them to strike at the other survivors.

"Treachery. Brother Lin, Yu Manli, Xin Lan, contain it. Lu Fan, Ruan Feifei, full firepower, take down the swarm," Dantai commanded. The swarm was too bothersome; just one delay resulted in another newbie going down.

Scales rose on the Queen’s back, revealing a gap from which she shot Wind Blades. A newbie who didn’t dodge in time was chopped into pieces of meat.

Lin Weiguo and Yu Manli didn’t last two rounds before being struck with the Queen’s blades, knocked down as the Queen burst into the team, letting out a scream and spitting out arrows of Venom condensed from green liquid.

Ruan Feifei released lightning, striking the Venom arrows and scattering them, but some splashes still hit her face, the burning pain twisting her expression as she cried out.

Two newbies were pierced, dead; the slime was highly toxic, instantly reducing their corpses to a puddle of pus.

The newbies grew even more panicked, compounded by the chaos of the Insect Race swarming them. Fortunately, the main fighters knew what to do.

Lu Fan’s Wristwatch poured out volumes of sand dust, forming six tornadoes that swept over a vast area toward the swarm. Blue electric fish surged from Ruan Feifei’s fingertips, shooting out and instantly creating a Lightning Jungle.

The woman unleashed an Ice Prison Cage, trying to bind the Queen, who was too cunning, striking once and then running, making Lin Weiguo’s Meat Shields utterly useless.

Xu Liangmao underwent beastification, leveraging his agility to chase the Queen, but it was an unfortunate hack at a clone, and he took a hit, flying backward.

Dantai sighed. Liang Mao was the typical hard-working and uncomplaining type, rarely speaking, never voicing any complaints; he was ready to exert effort but was too honest and not reactive enough.

Jing Xiang held the East Sea Road’s First Bow and shot down the swarm, failing to notice the Queen approaching. If Xin Lan hadn’t pushed her, she would have certainly been severely injured.

"Watch your surroundings, form small teams, and support each other," Dantai shouted. Jing Xiang, lacking combat experience, too easily became overwhelmed.

Sha Ou unleashed telekinetic power, and the Queen’s body immediately stalled, as if trapped in a swamp. However, this move also made him a target.

Dantai launched a Psychic Storm, hitting the entire swarm and halting their attack.

"This guy wants to drag out the time, waiting for the Queen to kill all of us," Qin Yan burst forth, determined to kill the Red-Clothed Woman.

Of course, Tang Zheng saw this too, and immediately went full firepower, entering Third-order, summoning warriors, using Gravity Suppression, and called out Daylily to boost the whole team with a Bonus Halo.

Clones summoned by the Crystal Heart also appeared, attacking the Red-Clothed Woman. She was overwhelmed by the sudden display of various maneuvers from Tang Zheng, feeling the immense Gravity Crush. She used a Blink Card to teleport and dodge.

"Biyun, be careful!" Seeing the Red-Clothed Woman appear behind the arcade girl, Qin Yan yelled, but it was half a beat too late. Although Xu Biyun tried her best to dodge, she was not a match for a Fourth Order adversary, and the SS-level Nepalese Curved Knife slashed through her Shield, striking her head. (To be continued.
