"...Fine, I’ll call you then." As she spoke, she quietly raised her hand to rub the goosebumps on her arm.

Emma, just thinking about her calling him "Jinyang~" was unbearable, it was just too mushy.

Compared to before, the expression on Lu Jinyang’s face was much better.

He called a waiter over and said to Zhuang Shuqing, "You order, I’ll step out for a bit."

"Wait..."

It was too late to call him back, Zhuang Shuqing was in a rush, and she said to the waiter who had just come in, "Come back later, I need to ask him what he wants."

As Lu Jinyang was coming back from the restroom and walking towards her, a person suddenly blocked his way, and he looked up, surprised.

"Song Zhiqing?"

"Lu Jinyang, I really didn’t expect to run into you here."

Lu Jinyang smirked, "I thought you wouldn’t want to leave all those beauties abroad and would never come back."

Song Zhiqing laughed and opened his arms to hug him, only to be met with Lu Jinyang’s disdain, "Save your hugs for the ladies."

"You say you...never mind, save it for your lady then." Song Zhiqing helplessly withdrew his arms.

He thought that after so many years, Lu Jinyang wouldn’t mind a hug, but it turned out he went from not hugging women to not hugging men.

Lu Jinyang chuckled, "Weren’t you abroad?"

"Yeah, I just came back not too long ago, are you dining alone? If you don’t have company for dinner, you could join me..."

Song Zhiqing paused because he noticed Lu Jinyang’s gaze moving forward, he turned around and saw a graceful figure not too far away.

"Lu... Jinyang, I wanted to ask what would you like to order?" Seeing them looking over, Zhuang Shuqing stiffly called out to him.

"You have a guest?" Song Zhiqing chuckled self-mockingly, smacking his forehead, "Look at my foolish head, Miss Zhuang, we meet again."

Again?

Just as Lu Jinyang was about to ask, Zhuang Shuqing spoke first, "Mr. Song, I have already received the compensation, thank you."

"I should be thanking you, Miss Zhuang. If it weren’t for your generosity, my little studio might have faced a lawsuit."

Zhuang Shuqing smiled without speaking.

However, Lu Jinyang was puzzled, "So, the Star Sea Studio is yours?"

"Yes."

Song Zhiqing smiled lightly, readily accepting the scrutiny from Lu Jinyang.

Seeing that Lu Jinyang didn’t answer her, Zhuang Shuqing walked beside him and whispered, "You still haven’t told me what you’d like to eat."

"You haven’t eaten yet? That’s perfect, I came alone, do you mind if I join you?"

"Sure."

Back in the private room, Zhuang Shuqing was forced to sit beside Lu Jinyang.

The room only had two double sofas, each originally occupied by one of the men, and with no other choice, she had to sit next to Lu Jinyang as she walked in.

During the meal, the two men were chatting, and Zhuang Shuqing had to focus on eating to lower her presence.

After the meal, Song Zhiqing suggested going out for fun, which Lu Jinyang tactfully declined, of course citing her as an excuse.

"Why are you using me as a shield?"

On the way back, Zhuang Shuqing finally could not hold back and asked.

Logically, they were old classmates and surely had endless topics to talk about; a single meal was not enough time.

If it were her meeting a close school friend, they would definitely go karaoke and have a wild night out.

"Am I disappointed that I’m not going?"
