The Bentley slowly drove into Jinxiu Garden. From a distance, Zhuang Shuqing spotted a familiar figure pacing by the gate. Her heart clenched tight, and she instinctively looked towards the man beside her.

However, the moment the Bentley entered Jinxiu Garden, through the rearview mirror, she saw that figure chasing after them.

Turning her head to look at the man beside her, she clearly saw Lu Jinyang’s expression turning colder.

Zhuang Shuqing immediately averted her gaze, thinking as long as Lu Jinyang didn’t bother with that person, it would be pointless even if he caught up.

Suddenly, the car stopped. Zhuang Shuqing, struck like lightning, watched Lu Jinyang unbuckle his seatbelt, get out of the car, and walk towards the man who had caught up.

Without thinking any further, Zhuang Shuqing immediately unbuckled her seatbelt and followed him out of the car.

Lu Jinyang walked past the man towards the security booth. In no time, two security guards were following behind him as they walked back.

The security guards stopped in front of the man and politely said, "Sir, please come with us."

Si Nanchen was panting and almost didn’t catch his breath upon hearing the security guard’s words.

What did they mean by asking him to come with them?

It sounded as if he had committed a crime.

Si Nanchen ignored the two security guards. Seeing Zhuang Shuqing looking his way, he immediately waved at her, "Shuqing, it’s me, Nanchen~"

With that, he waved his hand and started running towards Zhuang Shuqing, only to have his step abruptly stopped by a hand.

"What’s going on with you guys? Can’t you see my friend over there?"

Lu Jinyang glanced at her clothes but said nothing.
