The police officer’s expression briefly showed embarrassment, but he quickly recovered.

"Promotion comes after I handle this matter well. I’m sorry, Mr. Lu, without an order from above, I cannot let you take the person away."

Leng Yixing and Gu Chen arrived at the scene and were so frightened by it that it almost made their hearts jump out.

Leng Yixing took a sprint forward, pulled the police officer’s hand away, and before Lu Jinyang could lose his temper, he smiled and said: "Mr. Lu, please take your sister-in-law home to rest well. We will handle things here."

Lu Jinyang glanced again at the arm that had just been grabbed by the police officer, remained silent, and led Zhuang Shuqing into the car.
