By the time they left the director’s office it was already noon. With the director’s permission, they took Zhuang Shuqing away.

In the car, Zhuang Shuqing was restless and anxious, and so was Qin Huaixin.

"Hey, Leng Yixing, are you sure you guys aren’t breaking out of prison?"

Leng Yixing looked incredulous, "This isn’t ancient times, okay?" No prison break!

"Okay, then where are you taking us?"

"To eat."

After eating, Leng Yixing took Zhuang Shuqing back to her apartment, letting her take a shower and grab some changes of clothes before bringing her back to the police station.

After all was done, the two men said they had matters to attend to and left first, leaving the two women behind.

After freshening up, Zhuang Shuqing looked even more refreshed.

Seeing her so content, Qin Huaixin wondered if she was on vacation.

"Zhuang Shuqing, tell me, why do they treat you so well?"

"I don’t know either."

Qin Huaixin furrowed her brows, "Even now, you still don’t plan to tell me?"

Zhuang Shuqing finally put down what she was doing and turned to face her.

"It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, I just don’t know how to say it. They are helping me indeed because of Lu Jinyang, because I registered my marriage with Lu Jinyang, but it’s just a registration."
