However, before the cheers faded away, a sudden explosion was heard, and the airplane lurched violently to one side.

"Hold on, that was an explosion," Yang Gang spoke, both hands tightly holding onto Yang Fei and Gu Xiaorou.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are facing a serious problem. A terrorist has managed to sneak onto the flight and has detonated a bomb on the plane. The plane is about to lose control and we estimate it will crash in five minutes. Please follow the instructions of the flight attendants and prepare to parachute to safety. Fortunately, we are flying over a long and narrow island where parachute landing is possible. Good luck to you all," the intercom in the cabin sounded.

Flight attendants then began guiding passengers to parachute.

Yang Gang, Yang Fei, and Gu Xiaorou had also put on parachutes, lining up in preparation to jump.
