Yang Gang broke into a sweat, the sister of a bro-con was really fierce.

He gathered his emotions and said, "Shall we go find your brother?"

"What for?"

Yang Gang rolled his eyes slightly. After a pause, he said, "Then let’s hurry up and go."

After weighing the pros and cons, Yang Gang decided to take a risk and see what slip-ups he might have left behind.

Ye Lan clearly didn’t know what was going on in Yang Gang’s mind, she truly believed that Yang Gang was going to help her vent her anger.

In a sense, Miss Ye Lan was really naive.

Ye Lan took out her phone and was examining something. Yang Gang knew that she was definitely locating Ye Qing via satellite.

"Ah, found him!" Ye Lan exclaimed in delight.

Then, the two of them left the suburbs directly.

Hangcheng is a coastal city, with the sea on one side and surrounded by mountains on three sides. Beyond the suburbs, it’s pretty much all mountainous terrain.

Yang Gang started to become alert.

He’d never been here before, what kind of trace could he have left?

He intended to stop Ye Lan, but seeing the excited look on her face, he hesitated for a moment and followed her instead.

About an hour later, Yang Gang and Ye Lan had ventured quite deep into the mountains.

She took a step back and then stole a glance at Yang Gang, her mind seemingly elsewhere.

Afterwards, Ye Lan regained her composure, checked her phone again and said, "Hmm, we’re almost there, it’s just up ahead."

Yang Gang hesitated slightly, then said, "All right, let’s continue searching."

About half an hour later, the two of them arrived at a large cave.

Looking at the deep cave, Ye Lan became somewhat timid, "I think it’s here."

Yang Gang stared at the cave, carefully observing his surroundings. There were no abnormalities and he didn’t sense any danger.

"Ye Lan, how about you give your brother a call?" Yang Gang suggested.

Ye Lan awkwardly said, "He’s blocked my number."

A twinge of annoyance crossed Yang Gang’s face. After observing for a while longer, he said, "I’ll go in and take a look, you wait for me outside."

Upon hearing this, Ye Lan quickly grabbed the corner of Yang Gang’s clothes, "I don’t want to wait outside alone, I’ll go in with you."

Yang Gang had no choice but to nod.

Then, using the method of drilling wood to make fire, Yang Gang lit a torch for both Ye Lan and himself, and they carefully entered the cave.

The cave was pitch black, and the torch could only illuminate about a meter or two around them.

Yang Gang, for the purposes of exploration and caution, quietly activated the Owl gene after entering the cave, gaining the ’Night Vision’ ability.

With his Night Vision ability activated, the pitch-black cave appeared as clear as daylight in Yang Gang’s eyes.

Yang Gang cautiously observed everything in the cave, but didn’t detect anything unusual.

But after walking about a hundred meters, the cave still seemed bottomless.

Yang Gang bent down, picked up a stone, and threw it forward.

Moments later, a ’pa’ sound echoed from deep within the cave.

Judging from the echo, Yang Gang concluded that the cave was at least five hundred meters deep.

Having not been in Hangcheng for long, he wasn’t very familiar with the place and wondered if this was a wartime air-raid shelter or a natural cave.

The two walked another hundred or so meters, still finding nothing.

Ye Lan began to tentatively call out for Ye Qing, but apart from her echo, no one responded.

After walking about another fifty meters, Yang Gang suddenly stopped.

Ye Lan immediately grabbed his arm, nervously asking, "Wha-what’s wrong?"

Yang Gang’s expression was very serious, because he had spotted something on the ground.

A mobile phone!

Although he couldn’t identify the model, if his hunch was correct, it should be Ye Qing’s phone. The one that Ye Lan had managed to pinpoint its location!

But, why would Ye Qing’s phone be discarded in such a deep cave?

Yang Gang had an ominous feeling about this.

"Ye Lan, listen, when I count to three, we should run back," Yang Gang whispered.

"Mhm." Ye Lan completely trusted Yang Gang.

"1, 2, 3! Run!"

As soon as Yang Gang finished yelling, the two of them immediately ran towards the entrance of the cave.

Just as both their feet lifted off the ground to run, an electric net took them by surprise, dropping down from above.

If they had started running any later, they would have certainly been caught under the electric net!

Ye Lan’s face changed color, and she realized that Yang Gang had saved her life.

Just as they were about to reach the entrance of the cave, a man’s voice echoed from deep within the cave, much like it was being played from a video.

Upon hearing the voice, Ye Lan immediately stopped running, turned around, and looked towards the pitch-black depths of the cave.

"Brother?"

Then, she turned around and started to run back down into the cave.

Yang Gang grabbed Ye Lan’s hand, "Are you crazy? It’s obviously a trap!"

"But, they’ve captured my brother! I have to save him." Ye Lan struggled to break free from Yang Gang’s hold, intending to run back into the cave.

Yang Gang’s face went through a series of changes, before finally hardening into a resigned look.

Damn it, why should I be showing off like this? This Ye Lan isn’t one of the bounty hunters, whether she lives or dies is none of my business!

Although he was complaining internally, Yang Gang made up his mind.

"Stop struggling, I’ll go back in with you!" Yang Gang said calmly.

Ye Lan stared at him blankly, seemingly surprised that Yang Gang was willing to take such a risk for her. A wave of undescribable emotions welled up within her.

"Once we enter the cave, don’t resist. Their goal is to capture us, not kill us. If we resist, we’ll indeed be killed," Yang Gang instructed in a flat tone.

Ye Lan repressed her emotions, and nodded in agreement.

Then, with their hands held up high, Yang Gang and Ye Lan walked back into the cave.

Shortly after, the sound of light footsteps could be heard, and around ten fully-armed personnel surrounded them.

Yang Gang and Ye Lan were then handcuffed, blindfolded and taken away from the cave.

When the blindfolds were removed, Yang Gang found himself in an unknown location, surrounded by electrified wire fences. Many masked armed personnel were patrolling with guns. Both his hands and feet were bound, making it impossible for him to move.

"Who are these armed personnel?"

As Yang Gang was pondering, a group of armed guards approached him.

Among them were a few young female guards.

Yang Gang scanned them once, then his gaze fell on one of the female guards.

Their eyes met, and both Yang Gang and the female guard were taken aback.
