"Hmm... so such women exist?" Catherine chuckled again, looking at Yang Gang. "Gangzi, are you attracted to her?"

Yang Gang was taken aback. He glanced at Gu Xiaorou, his eyes flickering with vague thoughts. After briefly composing himself, he laughed. "How could that be? Gu Xiaorou has a boyfriend."

"Is that so?" Catherine just nodded, saying nothing.

Yang Gang looked at Catherine again. "I heard there are fireworks every night here in the Maldives. Shall we watch the fireworks later?"

Catherine chuckled again, "So, I was invited to watch the fireworks?"

Yang Gang’s lips twitched again, "Dressed in a bathrobe, nothing underneath, like this, to watch the fireworks?"

"Gangzi, it seems like you didn’t know. The best spot to watch the fireworks in the Maldives is actually from my room’s balcony." Catherine responded with a laugh.

"Really?" Yang Gang genuinely hadn’t heard of this.

Catherine then looked at Gu Xiaorou and Yang Fei, and switched to English. "Miss Yang, Miss Gu, please go take your baths and then come to my room wearing bathrobes to watch the fireworks."

Yang Fei blushed slightly. "Why should we wear bathrobes?"

Catherine joked: "Miss Yang, what are you so shy about? The only man in the house is your brother. If anyone should be embarrassed, that should be Miss Gu, right?"

Yang Fei felt even more embarrassed.

Frankly, it was true. But as of late, it seemed her brother was acting a bit strange...

Gu Xiaorou, on the other hand, remained perfectly composed. "I’ve heard that it’s a Maldivian custom to watch fireworks in bathrobes. Feifei, I’m going to take my bath now."

Just then, someone knocked on the door.

"Oh, it probably is the pizza that I ordered. Four in total, one for each of us." Catherine stood up, "I’ll go get the pizza."

Yang Fei interjected, "Miss Catherine, let me go instead. You invited us to watch the fireworks; it’s not right to have you fetching pizza now."

Yang Fei mainly wanted to pay the bill, as she didn’t like to owe too many people.

Catherine seemed to see right through Yang Fei’s thoughts. She chuckled but didn’t comment.

Yang Fei then got up to answer the door.

The moment the door opened, the muzzle of a gun was pointed right at Yang Fei.

Having been kidnapped once before, Yang Fei had grown a thicker skin. She didn’t panic but immediately raised her hands.

The door was opened by the intruders. They were four or five men, dressed in suits, carrying guns.

Yang Gang, who was still on the balcony, had a feeling that something was wrong. When he looked back, his gaze flickered with menacing fury.

He was just about to make a move when Catherine held him back.
