"All demons, heed my command. From this day forth, I, Ye Wuheng, am your New City Lord. If you do not come to pay homage to this City Lord now, when will you?"

Ye Wuheng’s voice was not loud, yet all the members of the Demon Clan entrenched in Hundred Demon City heard him clearly.

The world of the Demon Clan was extremely dangerous. The battle-hungry and gluttonous demons, aside from constantly searching for humans to feast upon, had only one other pursuit, challenging their kin.

In the Demon World, two sides would challenge each other, and the losing side would become the servant of the victor. If one side was unwilling to accept the challenge, it meant an automatic defeat. In the Demon World, there were many types of demons. Some had horns on their heads, and others had wings on their backs. There were also those with long tentacles, multiple legs, multiple arms, numerous eyes, or even multiple heads. The variety of demons was countless.

On Purple Jade Star, though there were many types of demons, they were divided into two major factions. One faction revered horned demons as lords, while the other revered winged demons.

Both sides believed themselves to be the descendants of gods and continually attempted to conquer the other. Yet, despite millions of years of warfare, neither side succeeded in conquering the other, leading the entire Demon World into perpetual conflict.

Blood Slaughter found himself on the Winged Demon Continent, where the winged demons were the ruling class.

In the dense forest, the gaps between the trees were covered with webs. Occasionally, a gigantic spider would appear, adding to the forest’s eerie atmosphere.

Blood Slaughter, lying on a branch of a towering tree, gazed up at the sky, feeling somewhat lost.

"This world is enormous. Months have passed, and aside from killing a few birdmen, I haven’t encountered anyone else. I have no idea when I’ll find Xue Ying."

A sudden noise startled Blood Slaughter, making him tense. He held his breath and carefully observed from behind the tree trunk.

After a moment, a group of five two-headed monsters appeared in Blood Slaughter’s line of sight.

One of the two-headed demons called out, "Boss, we’ve been searching for days and haven’t found a single human village. I’m starving to death."

The leading two-headed demon sniffed the air and quickly said, "The scent of humans here is strong."

"Heh heh, human flesh is delicious. It’s been so long since we had any," chimed in another two-headed demon, extending a long tongue and drooling.

Another two-headed demon brandished a large axe with a whooshing sound, roaring, "Brothers, grab your weapons and conduct a complete destruction search within a fifty-kilometer radius."

"Swoosh, swoosh,"

The other four two-headed demons instantly raised their weapons, slashing wildly at the air.

Black light scattered everywhere, and the sound of trees shattering and falling filled the area.

"Crack, crack, crack, thud, thud..."

Under the demons’ wild hacking, the tree where Blood Slaughter was hiding also crashed to the ground.

Without the tree as cover, Blood Slaughter stood in mid-air, arms crossed and smiling.

The leading two-headed demon angrily said, "Contemptuous human boy, you’re right. To humans, we are the demons who eat people without spitting out the bones. What can you do to me?"

Blood Slaughter said coldly, "Since you’ve admitted it, I will give you a dignified death."

"Boy, stop being arrogant. I’ll chop you up,"

One of the two-headed demons leaped into the air, swinging an axe at Blood Slaughter.

"Great Angel Sword!"

A buzzing sound, and six pairs of black-lit wings sprouted from Blood Slaughter’s back.

"Swish, swish, swish,"

Instantly, one pair of wings detached from his body, transforming into a giant black sword that pierced through the chest of the attacking two-headed demon.

"Thud,"

The two-headed demon fell from mid-air, landing with a dull thud, dead beyond doubt.

Seeing Blood Slaughter’s wings, the remaining four two-headed demons quickly kneeled at his feet.

The leading two-headed demon said respectfully, "Little demon didn’t realize the Supreme was here. Please forgive us and spare our lives."

Following him, the other three two-headed demons also begged for mercy.

The four two-headed demons kowtowed fervently.

Blood Slaughter raised his voice, "Who can tell me where we are and why you call me Supreme?"

"Supreme, let me answer your questions," one two-headed demon raised his hands and called out.

Blood Slaughter said plainly, "You answer then."

From the two-headed demon, Blood Slaughter learned that he was on the Winged Demon Continent, where the winged demons were the ruling class. So, he exhaled deeply.

"It seems my guess was right. This is indeed the Demon World,"

Immediately, Blood Slaughter’s eyes flashed with killing intent.

"You four can die now."

The leading two-headed demon shuddered and exclaimed, "Supreme, we have answered your questions truthfully. What do you mean by this?"

Blood Slaughter said coldly, "What do I mean? Can’t you understand?"

"But Supreme, we willingly offered to be your servants. Why do you still want to kill us?" another two-headed demon asked in confusion.
